I put furniture on layaway in june and paid it off in September they told me that it wasn’t in stock and they don’t know when it would be! Of course they have a no refund policy so I dispute with my bank and only got half of my money back due to the other charges were past 100 days! The manager attitude is very bad! You cant get in touch with customer service! My mom was sent the wrong furniture and the lady was very rude..They told my mom to bring furniture back and she would be mailed a check its now October that was in may still no check! And you cant get in touch with customer service! So I advise nobody to shop here never!
Sales Associate- Rob was very helpful, professional and customer friendly. Rob provided more assistance than what the manager offered. Shopping for a small side chair table. I discovered with Rob that the side chair tables (2) were priced wrong and the manager didn’t seem concerned that his merchandise was marked incorrectly. Rob verified the pricing that I found was in fact Correct! I purchased the table and the manger never acknowledged or greeted me as a customer. Rob should be the manager of that store. Love the side chair table purchased for my mom!!!

I absolutely do not recommend this place. Three months with no furniture. No customer service. If you decide you take your chances, go through their credit company Synchrony. It’s your only chance at a refund. If you lay away, pay cash, or outside credit card, you will never see recourse. I have also noticed in the last hours the reviews that I read before are being shuffled to move better ones up.
I was in town for a short while and was passing by. I had been looking for a nice area rug and found one here. Great service and the products are of very good quality and reasonably priced.
This place was amazing!! The service was fast! We walked in and immediately found the couch we were looking for. Purchased it and it was in stock and delivered in the same day! Prices were also very reasonable. Highly recommend.
The gentleman who helped us greeted us when we came in. He was very helpful in finding the chest we were looking for. Good price. They wrapped it up, loaded it in our van and we were on the road. Door to door was maybe 20 minutes. Very pleasant. Great experience.
I will never shop with Home Decor in West Columbia, Sc as long as Damion or whatever his name is still manager there... He was unprofessional being an manager, he didnt care the about costumer feeling... He quoted to me it wasnt his responsible as manager to call me once my furniture comes in.. I had to called down to Charleston South Carolina to get information, things he were entitled to give me but didnt.. So no as long as hes there I would never shop at West Columbia South Carolina Home Decor again... Do not walk but run away from this store! I purchased furniture in February 2021. It is August 16, 2021 and still havent received it. No one can tell me when its going to come in. I asked for a refund and was told to come in and fill out a form for corporate to decide the amount of refund I would receive. Was told there would be a restocking fee but no one can tell me the amount. Also, restocking of what? Invisible furniture! This place is a disaster. It should be shut down for scamming people.
The woman working at the store was very friendly. We were in and out and got our sofa delivered same day which was nice. However the man who delivered our sofa was very rude and did not even unpack the sofa. He was annoyed to go up 5 steps. So we told him to drive around the back as we have a way to our apartment with no steps. He was still annoyed and just brought it up the steps anyways. Took awhile to unwrap/unstaple the sofa but putting it together was fairly simple. It was a good low price as well.
Worst business I have ever encountered EVER!! They don’t tell you that once you have paid for the furniture it could be months before you even receive any of it. They literally told me if I pay it off it would be ordered and there in a week. The very rude manager then says he can’t tell me when I’ll get what I paid for like it doesn’t matter we already have your money type of tone and I can only give you 4K store credit but not your money back. This is ridiculous and by these other reviews I should have read before even going in there, it happens a lot. Definitely will be reaching out to my lawyer to see what can be done because certain information should be disclosed before purchase. Now I’m out 4K and a new home with no furniture.

These people lied about their warranty system.. They dont let you know that the warranty is an outside provider and that it takes 30 days to get approved! The store manager there is very rude! Didnt catch his name but he is a black man and very rude! I will never spend my money there again.. Now I have a broken bed that will never be replaced!!

I had purchased a sleigh bed and was told 2 days to order than was told 2 weeks after a month of waiting I went into the store and was told due to covid there was a delay. After 2 months I went in with my sister and I am moving out of state and wanted a refund. They told my sister she wouldnt be able to give a full refund since it was over 10 days. Now how do I even get a refund by your standards if you lie about 2 days than jump to 2 weeks for ordering. They went in the back and miraculously my name was on a list out of nowhere. Thankfully my sister was there to bring it to my house. I will never go back to this store I was treated so unfairly. If I could give 0 stars I would. Very very unhappy from the lies to the customer service.

I am not very pleased with the service. I purchased a bedroom set. Was told it would take 6-8 weeks for delivery. I am in week 11 no merchandise. I have gone to the store and talked to a couple of sales associates. When I talked about cancelling my purchase I was told I would be charged a fee. This is not the way to conduct business.
After going from one store to the next looking for what I wanted.....I finally found it at Home Decor. I walked in the door and was greeted by several different people. Looked around a little bit. Then was then approached by an employee. Very kind and listened to what I was wanting and not what he was selling. All the employees seemed to care and not concerned it was their job. I honestly wish I could give this place a zero. I have placed an order for a dresser in November 2020, they told me I’d have it by New Years. We are approaching March and no dresser! I’ve called them more than I wanted because it’s pointless, been told they don’t know when it will come. That they don’t communicate with the vendors and don’t have the ability which seems like bull. Then I asked for some info of an ETA at least because it’s a huge inconvenience and they told me “we don’t make the furniture “. So on top of taking my money and not providing a product, they’re condescending, rude and disrespectful. I contacted the BBB and will be working to talk corporate. I would NEVER come here again. This whole experience have been completely unacceptable.
The worst experience I’ve ever had. I placed my order December 2020 and when they received my items, they never called me to notify me when I called them they informed me that my ítems had been given to another person since i failed to come pick them up. Ever since the I’ve been getting one item at a time. Finally June 2021 I have all my items. This place lacks of management and are expert at providing the worst customer service. This is the most horrible experience I’ve ever had went in store on March 17th bought a living room set. Well it is June 19th and they call me to tell me they are going to deliver part of my living room set because they still don’t have the recliner. I had my son take my old living room set in the yard and it’s now 630 and the store is closed and my furniture was not delivered . So I have been waiting months and now I have no furniture because they never showed up with it today as promised . I am really upset right now and this is absolutely ridiculous. I will never buy another thing from them

I dont make reviews but I just had to do this one. Paid over 1k for a living room set. Started the process in July and paid the set off on October. Was told that the set was ordered and on the way. My wife and I would call and drop in to check on the status of the furniture and was told it would be in mid November. Mind you their website says the furniture that we ordered is in stock at every store but when it came time (mid November) to get the furniture we are told they no longer have the set because it was discontinued. A whole month and you just saying it was discontinued???? When we requested a refund we were told we could not get it but we could use it as store credit. We paid our money for a set we liked and looked forward to getting! Their website states that the set we ordered was in stock at every store but we were told that the website was lying and dont trust it. Its your website!! I feel that we should get a refund due to the fact that we did not cancel our order nor did we break any agreements for getting the furniture. Stay away from this store! Will see how this play out!

I went to the store in January of this year (2020). They had great customer service however I purchased a bedroom set that I paid for in full. The only thing that was missing was my nightstand which they told me I would get a call when it was delivered to the store. When I got home and put my bed together I noticed I was missing the plug that went to my headboard. I called the store and they say they didn’t see the piece there and that they would order it for me. They never called to let me know my night stand was in, I had to call them. I called every other week to check on the plug piece and they told me it would take no longer than 3 months before I receive my plug. While I was waiting on the third month to come by, I told my aunt they had nice bedroom sets. She purchased a full bedroom set straight out and they told her that a couple of her pieces would be there later. This was back in May. They called my aunt last week asking her was her things delivered to her home knowing they weren’t. We both have been calling and they have not came up with anything yet. I have called corporate multiple times and never received a call back. We still do not have what we paid for. I would not recommend this store!
I will never buy anything else from this company. I was told 2 to 6 weeks to get my furniture. I had to go up there multiple times and every time I call no one answers the phone. The 3rd time I went up there the store manager informed me that only 2 of 4 of my furniture pieces where in stock. When I paid for the purchase in March 3 of 4 where there. He told that he can get some of my furniture delivered but i have to pay for a delivery charge every time they deliver my furniture and they constantly giving the furniture I am waiting for.
These are great people at the West Columbia location. They will help you find what you need despite furniture being really limited at this time with the pandemic. One employee in particular, Curtis, just an all around great guy, very warm, sincere,and cares about his customers, not just about making a sale. All of my furniture purchases in the future will be made at this location, I trust them, and highly recommend them.
Very poor communication!!! And the manager had the nerve to blame the vendor... the vendor doesn’t communicate with the customer you do, and they failed!! I placed a order for my son a bedroom suite last year and they said it would arrive this week, only to get a call the day of for them to say all the pieces didn’t come in!! So I canceled everything.. then they didn’t want to give my money back!! I do not recommend these people unless it’s in store on hand . They are slack and do not care about the customer or the bind they put people in !!
Home Decor Outlet makes it hard to support black own businesses.The service I received was horrible. I purchased items on Oct 27,2020 and I was told I should be able to pick them up within 3 to 4 weeks. That never happened, since I have been giving the run around. They are completely unorganized and very inconsistent lied until they could not lie anymore.I will never recommend nor refer anyone to shop at this place ever!!!

I had the most awful experience at Home Decor, on Augusta Rd, in Columbia, SC, which began 06/03/2020. The living room furniture I paid for was not ready for same day pickup or delivery. I was given the runaround everytime I would check on the status of my order. Subsequently, I made a second furniture choice, only after I was told that my first choice was discontinued. The second furniture choice was delivered and set-up by their contractor, that I had to pay for on the spot. The furniture was new with paper still on it, however, the netting under the couch appeared to be spitefully sliced open. The cost of the second furniture was less than the first one. Their website says You never lose money at Home Decor. Today I still have not received my overpayment. This is my first time shopping with Home Decor, and my last.

This is not the furniture store to order from if you want good customer service and your product in a timely manner. February 26, 2021, I paid $1407.00 for a number of pieces to include the bedroom suite. It is now April 8, 2921 and I finally got store staff to answer the phone. The area rug is the only item that came in. I have no bed or dresser or nightstand and no dinette set. We are eating on the floor and I am sleeping on a mattress luckily. This is very poor management and customer service. I will not use this store or this business again. They need to check on the availability of their items before someone places an order and pre pays for it. I am now told that I have to come in sign something for the corporate office to mail me a check in 30 days. 30 DAYS!!! I need furniture now. This is truly not good customer service. The inconvenience placed on the customer, lack of knowledge by the sales people, lack of inventory and pure non concern for the customer tell me that they will not be in business too long or business will be very slow if they keep operating this way.You ask what you can do. Mail me my refund asap! I signed the refund form and Home Decors corporate office signed off on it per W. Columbia, SC staff, June 24th. What is the refund hold up now????

We went in looking for a king mattress set. Curtiss was very helpful and knowledgeable and allowed us to try out every mattress until we found the one we wanted. He did not try to sell us something we didn’t want or need. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to go there and allow Curtiss to help them out too!!

4 months and I STILL have not received my furniture. Imagine them telling you it will take 2 to 6 weeks then Thanksgiving comes and goes, Christmas comes and goes, New Year comes and goes, and STILL no furniture. Oh, and you can’t get your money back either. Customer service is no help. The employees don’t care! It’s a waste to even call them! They said beginning of March, I’ll update then.
My Experience here was A-1. They had living room set at my home the same day. Good Quality product, timing and customer service was amazing. Young lady sold set and delivered the same day. Went to at least 5 furniture stores this store surpassed them all. Thank you to the staff there that made the same day delivery available. I didnt get there to choose til 4pm . I decided on the chairs at 4pm they had them at my door by 6pm. You Guys are Amazing.
Been looking at bedroom sets for awhile, decided to get mine from here, they also allow layaway so even if you find something you like but are not able to get it right then and there you can at least put something on it, pay at your leisure and there are not interest fees included.. Would recommend and do business with again in the future

Just moved in and found this furniture store. I needed to get a whole house full of stuff and didnt have much to spend. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable about their programs. They understood my situation and was able to get me approved for credit. I was so happy I couldnt believe I was able to get almost everything I needed from one place and I only had to pay $49 out of pocket. I got furniture for me and my three kids. My entire living room set was only $499. I will tell everyone about this place! Thank you for helping me and my family out during a difficult time in our lives. Nick and Sammy are the best! They wont let you down.
DONT BOTHERSearched forever for a couch I liked. Finally found one here. Paid in full was told it would take 2-6 weeks to come from CHARLESTON SC to WEST COLUMBIA SC. Thought that’s was excessive but I don’t work in the furniture business so whatever. It’s been almost 10 weeks and STILL NOTHING! I’ve contacted them several times and get some excuse that I guess could make sense but not really when Charleston is 2 hours from here. I went into the store to find out and was told it’s currently on a truck but the winter storms delayed everything. The storms have BEEN OVER for some time now and again it’s 2 HOURS AWAY. I’ve read some of the other reviews and it sounds like this sort of thing happens WAY TO OFTEN HERE!
I stopped in randomly searching for a mattress set! I was greeted & well taken care of! The associates explained the layaway program to me & I utilized it to hold the price for my mattress set & also added a dining room table! Today, I picked up the mattress set & it was very smooth! The men inside quickly assisted me & brought it outside to the truck! Thanks so much Home Decor! I will be back!

Delivery driver (Tyrone of Snow Delivery) spot on very careful unloading and setting up. Definitely will be going back in the future
Sorry, worst, lying sales people EVER. They will sale what they dont have, and lie about when it will be delivered. Oh and once your money leaves your hand, you will NEVER get your money back. Ive never experienced such POOR level of service. DO NOT SHOP HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!
I honestly don’t know where to begin. This isn’t normally my thing, I don’t typically write reviews really at all unless it’s a good review, but even then, it’s not really my thing. I guess I was just really unhappy with most of my experience with this store and felt like it was important to share. I waited over 3 months to receive my furniture from Home Decor after originally being told on the day of purchasing that I would receive my furniture within a week or two. Again, it took over THREE MONTHS. I don’t think it’s the wait time that frustrated me as much as it was the way Home Decor handled it. The lack of transparency from the people working at Home Decor was what bothered me the most. I am fully aware that due to COVID-19, there has been a decrease in factory workers all over the country which obviously will cause delays. My issue is more than I was not able to make a fully informed decision when buying the furniture because I was told that it would take a lot less time than it did. I was constantly told by the employee on the phone to me every time I called that it was not something they could control because the factory would keep sending them different dates. While I understand the reason for this, I also purchased my furniture four months into the pandemic and don’t think it’s unreasonable to receive accurate information as to how long it will take. The communication, or lack thereof, was another frustration for me. Many a time, I called and asked to be informed of any changes with regards to my order and was not called once.My experiences with the employees I talked to on the phone were actually good and they were understanding of my frustration which I appreciated, however, I would have liked a more honest experience initially and a more transparent experience overall.And as a side note: for anyone that is buying furniture from Home Decor and pays upfront like I did, be aware that there is a 10 day return policy. I was unaware of this so when I asked about receiving a refund well after the 10 day cutoff because I still hadn’t received my furniture and was tired of waiting, I was told that I could only receive store credit because the 10 day point had passed. Basically, I like the furniture and it seems to be good quality to me but I’m not sure it is worth the wait time I experienced. The bottom half of my night stand and chest seems to be real wood but the top slab is fake wood/ plastic which I’m not a huge fan of but it’s not so obvious that I’m too unhappy to keep the furniture.
Service was quick. They were very respectful. Helped me find what I needed. Only thing I don’t like is how small the building is now that they have moved, but still good service.

Glad I stopped by after noticing the store as I turned out of Kimbrell’s. The customer service reps was welcoming as soon as I entered the store . Mr. Curtis assisted me with my purchase. He is such an asset to the company and his hospitality is awesome. One encounter with him and his enthusiasm would make you want to purchase everything in the store 😃. Will most definitely be back. And the prices are very reasonable.

Somebody please tell me how Im supposed to put a bed together with one screw? Apparently Home Decor expects magic and miracles to make it happen. Ive had my bed a month now and havent slept on it yet. Waiting on hardware, 2 weeks has become a month and now maybe 2 more weeks. This is ridiculous. I wont be purchasing anything else from them. Thats for sure. I feel like Ive been robbed. Update: still nothing its October and I bought my bed in June.
It is the worst furniture store I have ever visited. And Im not saying it because of its appearance, but because of the staff. I bought a three-piece living room they told me that they would deliver it to me for two weeks, I paid everything instantly I had to call because the two weeks passed and nothing, they told me they have to wait another week, I did it and nothing, now there are two months waiting for my furniture, and I got to the point of canceling my purchase and they said they couldnt give me the cash that I had to buy something that was in the store. I needed my living room. and the manager said I only have 2 pieces so thats what he gave me and now, Im supposedly waiting for the other piece of my living room to arrive. Im really upset that the manager tells me that I couldnt do anything just wait. I hope Im not the only one in this situation because it would be really bad
The Staff was great at the way they. Handled things considering the circumstances I blame the company itself for selling a bed that they know or knew it was going to take a while to produce I paid for my bed in June and I just got it it came in on around October 24th other than that it was fine

Our initial experience when we first went to home decor was great. The young lady that helped us was meet knowledge and customer service friendly. We picked out the sectional that we wanted and placed it on layaway because we were waiting to close on our home. When we paid it off in July they told us that it would take up to 4-6 weeks because of the pandemic. We got to week 8 and still hadn’t heard from them so my fiancé went to the store and they told them again that it was a delay because of the pandemic. We waited a few more weeks and still hadn’t heard anything. We called a few more times and every time it was a different excuse for why we didn’t have our furniture. The first two time it was because of the pandemic, then it was because they were out at the warehouse, then it was they ran out of material to make the sectional and they had to order the material from overseas. Next and final excuse was that it is now at the warehouse in California but because of the wild fires they do not have any drivers to pick up the furniture. Everytime that we got an update it was because we had to call or go up to the store. They didn’t not communicate at all or apologize for the inconvenience. We are finally in mid October and just received our sectional. They did nothing to make sure we were satisfied. I will not be shopping with them again. I was very disappointed
We had to wait more than 3 months for furniture and we have been at the location every week and every week we get a new date. Also when we into the store for the 5th time the store manager, said it was our fault that OUR things did not come. Then he never communicated that stuff would take this long. This is THE WORST FURNITURE STORE EVER. PS. We still do not have ANY of our furniture.

They will not give me my money back after I was told to pay full balance and would receive my living room set in two weeks. It has been a month they will not refund after ten days I NEVER GOT THE LIVING ROOM SET after two weeks so they broke their own agreement make SURE YOU GET THE FULL REFUND AGREEMENT BEFORE PURCHASING. ITS ON THE BACK OF RECEIPT AFTER YOU PURCHASE!!!
Horrible customer service! My bed was missing a side rail that clearly wasn’t put in the box at the manufacturer. I paid $2k for the bed and they would not get me a new rail. Basically told me I had to pay for another cause I signed the delivery ticket saying all items were present. How the heck was I to o ow I should have opened all the boxes before their bootleg delivery guy left.
I purchase a Couch and loveseat today that my late husband wanted us to get. The process was fast and quick. Customer service was awesome. Salesman was great as always. I love Home Decor. This is a sham operation. I placed an online order and was told it would ship in 7-10 days. There was no notification of a delay. I called the local store and they could provide no information. The national customer service number prompts you to text someone for assistance. I learned my order will not even ship for another month (2+ months after it was placed). I wont even live in the same location at that point. After a few text exchanges and mentioning my desire for a refund, the person on the other end stopped responding. Dont waste your time or money! My next stop is the better business bureau!

Will not recomand them and will never buy from again hard to work with I paid for 2 beds and 2 dressers up front they told me 2 to 4 weeks it has been almost 10 weeks and still havent got anything each time I call they give me the run around or the dates have moved im very pissied off and they will not give money back if I dont get my stuff in the next week I am getting a lawyer involved that is how bad this place it! Save yout time and money.
It takes too long to get your merchandise. Then it came separate. I have no bed to sleep in yet. Then I have to pay another fee when they deliver the bed.
I always love this store! No pressure to buy but employees are always there and very helpful if you need them!

Purchased dining room table and four chairs. Two of the chairs broke when I sat in them. I am a big guy, but not crazy big. 60 about 230lbs. Called store and was told I had to return the chairs. I refused and was able to get the delivery man who was nice enough to come pick the chairs up the same day and return them to the store. Spoke to the manager who acted like he could care less. Told me I would get new chairs within 30 days. Well 30 days has come and gone and I am still without chairs. Mind you this was purchased in July and it is now October and I still have a dining room table with no chairs. Very poor quality. I never received one call from anyone to discuss this with me, so I assumed they simply didnt care. I have disputed the entire charge with my bank and they refunded my money!!!! This place is awful!
Jerome was most helpful and patient with us old folks. Weve found a lot of young people are not. He helped us get the best deal for our needs and our money. We were able to find here what three other stores didnt have. So thanks Home Decor and Jerome
I purchased a sectional from this location. The second week the back on one of the recliners collapsed. The following week the seat on the other recliner and the foot portion both sank in and it made a popping sound when I attempted to let it out. I called the store and they said I had to fill out a warranty form. I explained that I only had this furniture a few weeks and I wanted it replaced. Nothing happened. I began to call corporate. I called on 3 different occasions and each time I was told that someone one be in touch within 48 hours. No one has contacted me yet. I called a 4th time today and got the exact same response even after I explained my issue. They have no problem every week with drafting a payment but does have a customer communication problem! I am VERY DISSATISFIED with the way they have handled me through this!
I love the bed very good. Brought the same bed a couple of years ago. But there customer service is so horrible . I understand what’s going on but when some one calls about something that they pay for it’s ok to be empathetic

The worst place to get you furniture. If I could give 0 stars I would. They took forever to get my furniture and they dont call you when your furniture get there. DONT EVER BUY YOU FURNITURE FROM HERE.

Make sure to check what they load in your car. Paid over $500 just to get home and realize they loaded the wrong color..called back to get the correct item said they would be out to replace but still no response or care HOURS later

Just bought a memory foam mattress set from Home Decor Outlet. The service was great, prices were affordable, good quality products and there was a great selection to choose from.
