This place is my fav place to shop for gadgets as it is amazing!Everyone there is so helpful and the stand out staff are Krystal & Mark in a cell phones dept. They are so friendly & knowledgeable. They answered every single question I had and helped me understand so many things I didnt know. Thank you guys and hope to visit you soon for more gadgets. Great experience was in the store less time than it took me to walk from my car. I walked in I was greeted by a woman who asked if there was anything I was looking for which was Oculus Quest 2 she pointed me in the direction the man asked what I needed he grabbed it in seconds. I looked up He told me the total transaction completed and is out of the store in Less than 3-5 minutes total. Great customer service by any means!! 1st time at Best Buy and I have to say it will not be my last!!!!

Used Geek Squad to diagnose a video card (which i didnt purchase through best buy) and the technicians were more than helpful and explained what they they saw and although were not able to replace the card at the time they told me who to contact since it was still under warranty. Didnt even charge me for the time they spent looking at it. Great customer service!

We purchased a 55 inch TCL television. When we opened the television the right bottom part of the screen was bent. We brought it back in its original packaging with the plastic still on the TV and asked for a replacement. They told us no replacement and no refunds. They said they would do nothing to rectify the situation and sorry but youre stuck with a broken television. This was not a clearance item. We paid full retail price for this TV. Im in shock of their response. Ive been shopping at the West Hartford Best Buy for over 15 years and have spent several thousand dollars there. Very disappointed in their handling of this situation and Im now out $650. Avoid buying anything from Best Buy at all costs! Ill never shop there again.

Problem 1: Doorman/whatever shirt color still asking what are you here for at the entry gate. I am here to buy what you sell. Are you selling?Problem 2: Asked multiple folks for price of a product which didnt have a price tag(A monitor). Went back to doorman who said that someone will come to that section. No one arrived - 20 mins totalProblem 3: Went back to doorman. A different one this time. Tells me that everyone is too busy. Its 7 pm and your store is not that busyProblem 4: Got out and went to Costco. Had cheaper & better version of same product! Even the price of open box was more than what it is at Costco. Assistant in front pointed myself in the wrong direction, and the way I am.. Ill stay there for 5 mins inspecting every item even though its not related to what I was looking for... Went back asked a different worker, he brought me to another worker that actually knew what I was asking for!!!After six stores I finally found my 1 to 4 USB adapter! Smh shoulda just ordered online..

They have new process at the door to check in, probably from pandemic. It only took a minute for someone to be already assisting me with everything I needed cause I knew what exactly what I wanted. Got me all of my items, had a nice conversation with the employee assisting me, and easy price match process. They brought out my item to my car as well. Store was clean, still keeping with some covid protocols. Overall, great experience!

Went shopping for some accessories for my phone at Best Buy. Shelves were empty and products were not kept together which made them difficult to find. I found a charger with an open box that says there was nothing wrong with it but I expected a discount because it was opened.I got no discount and come to find out that the cord did not work so now I have to go back and return it which I hope they will.

So, funny story:Im looking for a “rugged” keyboard folio case for my 8th gen ipad that i use for work. Most of the better options range around $120 and up. So, for any one who has looked at these would notice that the boxes these come in are either a magnetic flip type cover, or a drawer type opening with a ribbon for easily opening. None of these are “sealed” in any manner. It would seem to appear that manufacturers such as otterbox or logitech would allow for potential buyers to view products prior to purchasing. So the fun part…While im knelt down opening up and looking over the aforementioned products, a security guard comes over and tells me to put it back in the box and its store policy to not open the boxes. We had a small argument about the “store policy” and the intent which it would apply, and he threatened to kick me out and ban me from every best buy. So i got up, put the box back, and told him ill just leave. The ENTIRE way out of the store the man followed me out running his mouth despite the fact that i was quietly walking out. And even though i voluntarily was leaving he proceeded to tell my fiance that she also had to leave and couldnt look at anything else.I am pretty sure the security gaurd cant do anything but contact authorities, so although he was threatening to kick me out im fairly confident he couldnt personally do anything to remove me from the store and i regret not going straight to a store manager.It would appear that the manufacturer intended for consumers to examine products prior to purchasing.I dont think best buy wouldnt endorse that guys behavior despite our disagreementIt is my opinion that this guy shouldnt be responsible for anything other than pushing carts around a parking lot.

Overall, this a very nice store. The store has evolved over time and now has a huge focus on electronics. The large spaces that used to be occupied by CDs, Blu-rays, etc. are now filled with helpful devices, and accessories. The phone and computer sections are fairly large with a lot of variety as well. You can find better prices elsewhere for some items, but its worth a visit to check things out.

I brought this month from the computer section a Dell Inspiron 14 7000 2-in-1, but it has been giving me problems ever since a week in. I had sound problems, internet problems and the background will not change since the beginning of this month. This computer is faulty. It is not worth it, and the contacts are not helpful. Best Buy has gone down hill in the last ten years. Their tech support for Geek Squad as well is not helpful as well. For my last old computer they needed three people to go into my computer from home, and it took the whole day. And they never resolved the issue. So Best Buy and Geek Squad has really gone down hill.

I have been in this store a couple of times and each time I have had very poor customer service. No one was available to help me in the t.v section. I had to being the t.v to front to get any help with the price. Then when I asked for a manager to help understand the price. The cashier told me we dont price match. That they werent going to do it. They were just saying people were mangers when they were not. I got so frustrated I just left the store. I dont think I will be back.

Got a same day appointment for Geek Squad to diagnose charging issues with my computer. Very helpful staff. When purchasing a new charger, I had difficulty finding the right one. The store was set up so that traffic flowed smoothly despite being busy. Sales people were readily available and knowledgeable about stick and the products availableAlso, for any product not readily available, they were willing to call around and have the item delivered to you and in obe instance they suggested the possibility that another merchant might have the item! Shopped at this Best Buy before and thought it was well kept and had knowledgeable employees. However, when the store states it closes at 7pm I dont expect to pull up at 6:35 and see the entrance to go inside the store blocked which is what I, sadly, encountered. I feel like its laziness on part of whoever decided that was a good idea. Got the pricing matched at Target instead due to frustration.

Picking up online orders is a real pain. Long wait at customer service counter to pick up order and forget curbside pick up as it is a joke. You have to check in at the front door and tell the associate the reason for your appearance at the store. I can see the need to limit the number of customers in the store, but they have designed it so it is like entering an exclusive paid membership club such as Costco or Sam club. I like their product line and pricing, but store entry and customer service is their downside and makes shopping elsewhere an option at places such as PC Richards for major appliances and electronics.

Poor customer service, my order was delayed over ten days and when I asked somebody at the customer service desk & the manager, the reply was That is not our problem, call FedEx. This should never happen to any customer. I do not recommend dealing with this company, their policy for customer service needs to be changed. Hopefully this will reach a higher level in the company to avoid losing customers in the future.

With a really good size store, this bestbuy location provides a good amount of selection from cameras to home theater options.the camera section with a lot of SLRs and mirrorless cameras readily available for you to take it for a spin, this bestbuy is the one you should visit before purchasing a camera! They also provide a hefty 6% cashback (or more like store credit) if you habe the bestbuy credit card by citi. Or you can sign up for a new card and get 10% or more depending on any active campaigns...

Service was really really slow. There were only 2 customers ahead of me, but I waited 20 min till my turn. Staffs were just chatting and hanging around. When I ordered a freezer on the website it says 3 in stock and is ready for same day pick up at this location. I paid for it online last night and it says preparing to pick up today. I rented a truck today to pick it up but when I got there they said it was out of stock and I couldn’t get it today. They explained that I made the order at the same time with 3 other people and my order became a back order. Another solution is I have to drive half an hour to another location to pick it up where they have the freezer in stock. I wasted 3 hours just driving here and there to get it.

This store has one of the worst customer service. Inhave provided more than 100 reviews and numerous contribution as part of google local guide program. I generally avoid providing negative reviews but the unpleasant experience that I faced made me provide this review.I had a simple task of in store pickup and I had some issues. I asked to speak with the store manager and someone came to talk to me which I seriously doubt was the store manager. I asked simply to be told how to do a certain thing to resolve the issue. The guy was rude and very unhelpful. Either he did not know what the process was or was just plain rude.I shop a hell lot from Best Buy and consider one of the top stores but this particular store needs some serious reconsideration.

They are not open on new years day 2021 but they had an extremely fast turnaround for online delivery. We went to the West Hartford location without checking the hours first and only waited in the parking lot for about 20 minutes before they were able to fill out order and bring it out.

I must the service was terrible. I tried ordering online for a curbside pickup. And item said it was in store today. the date was then changed till August 6 for pickup, inconvenience the customer. Tried calling the store and on hold for 1/2 hour. My wife got a hold of someone on the Chat. they then said the inventory is not always right so we ask to change it to delivery. Chat personal proceeded to tell us to wait 24 hours before he could change it. So seeing as we could not get a solution for the customer, we cancelled. I work in sales and it saddens me to say the service at best buy is not the best to buy from. I will not be shopping here or recommend anyone to shop here.Thanks
