We live above Coffee Tomo and have stopped in a few times already. Really good iced coffee and on another visit we grabbed two of their stuffed pretzels. We loved both of the pretzels! The only thing we dont like about this little place is it is just a bit too sterile and cold feeling so we just get everything to go. We are looking for a coffee shop we can stop in and do some work but its just not inviting to stay for a long period of time.
I love this place. Very friendly and lovely people working there. Fantastic coffee. A great way to start the day.
This has become my favorite coffee spot by my work this week. The coffee is strong, rich, and delicious. The pretzels are simple and endearing, and a more filling snack than they first appear. Staff is friendly and down to earth. Unpretentious Expressos in clean digs
I love the bright space, tons of windows, very inviting. The homemade stuffed pretzel with bean and cheese was bomb. It was a tich sweet to taste, and the pretzel bread wasn’t exactly like a pretzel; it was better! The croissants are big and yummy. Tomo means Friend in Japanese. I love that.
The pretzels are everything. Get the sweet potato with cheese.
Excellent service !
The coffee was great. It opens at 730, and when I was there it was really mellow. Also lots of light and table space. Possible sketch location?
Tomo on Sawtelle has been a favorite for years. The quaint set up, atmosphere, and busy vibe of students, people working and drinking the classic red bean or tomo lattes is comforting for sure. Let’s not forget the real stars— the pretzels. Red bean and cheese stuffed, original sea salt, sweet potato or jalapeño cheese are all winners. We were ecstatic to have tomo 2.0 open just blocks from our house, and while the pretzels and coffee do not disappoint in the least, they seem to have gone for more of an airport cafe aesthetic. Bright, empty, ikea.
Espresso is delicious, the baristas know what they’re doing, very friendly staff and a beautiful shop
Great espresso, nice ambience, and friendly staff.
