Curt and the crew at Mr. and Mrs. Tire are amazing! We have been going here for years, and they always take care of us and our cars. Our AC was not working in one of our vehicles. They were able to work us in within minutes of calling to diagnose the problem, gave us a temporary fix, and then got us on the books for the next morning to get it taken care of. Their customer service is through the roof to say the least. It’s awesome to support a local business that does great work.

These guys were so helpful!!! I was visiting from out of state and had a nail in my tire. They were able to squeeze me into their tight schedule and make the repair so I could be back on my way in time. Price was super reasonable too!

These guys are great to work with. Had them mount some tires to some wheels. Dropped them off, paid, picked them up the same day. The work seems solid.

We have been customers of Mr. and Mrs. Tire for over 5 years now through several different cars (both newer and older models) for tires as well as oil changes and all other repairs. Curt and the team are always going above and beyond for us. Although they may at times seem to be “all business,” they definitely bring the heart, too, making sure to uphold their warranties and stand by their past workmanship. It’s not uncommon for them to offer ways to save us money with our repairs. On quite a few occasions I have left being pleasantly surprised with the price of honest repairs. We will happily support this local shop.

Only place Ill go. Always seem to make the repair cheaper than I expect and never fail to fit me into the schedule when I have an emergency. They saved the day yet again when I had a flat. Fixed my tire in less than 2 hours when nowhere else could or would get me in. Will never go anywhere else!

They have been very nice and respectable to me everytime I have gone in for an oil change or for tire replacements. I dont get the impression that they look down on me for being a woman who knows nothing about cars. Sometimes, mechanics can give off that vibe. I have not experienced this here; they make sure to explain everything to me in basic terms and are willingly to show me first hand what is wrong. I appreciate it.

This shop has fixed so many tire issues we’ve had, always with great customer service and affordable pricing. Just today I called last minute because I just needed air in a tire, and they ended up finding and patching the leak right then and there, even though I didn’t have an appointment. Thank you!!

Had my rear shocks and springs replaced for a fair price to prepare for a road trip. About three hours out, one of the shocks ripped free from the car’s body.Mr. and Mrs. Tire took responsibility and had the car towed back from Richmond and took care of the repairs. Curt was very helpful and seems like a good manager.All shops can make mistakes, but not all take responsibility. They have my business from here on out.

I got my oil changed while stepping next door and enjoying a nice cold drink while waiting.. there was no up sell on something that I did not need.. simply a nice experience.. very friendly. .. I will be going back for sure..

I have taken my vehicles here for service for the last 10 years. It was always convenient and good service. Never really noticed poor quality until my recent visits in the past 12 months. I took my vehicle in for an oil change, it wasnt filled up. I took it in for tire rotation and balance, the lugnuts were only hand tightened. I took it in for a gas smell, they told me they dropped the gas tank and couldnt determine an issue. I later find out there was no possible way they dropped the gas tank because I took the vehicle in for a second opinion; I had to pay for two new hoses that were corroded so bad it was required in order to drop the tank. I also paid for a new fuel pump module - needless to say, I had many issues that Mr. & Mrs. Tire said they checked but clearly didnt. I brought this to the front desks attention, appeared most of the employees were present at the time (including the associate that dropped the tank) and they looked at me as though I was in the wrong. I will never again do business with this company due the lack of accountability and personal ownership.

Great service and great people

I brought my truck to Mr. & Mrs. Tire to have tires and wheels mounted, rear drum brakes replaced, and a transmission service done. They were unable to perform the transmission service, due to the layout of the truck, but were helpful in recommending good places to go. The wheel and tire mounting was affordable and well done. My brake shoes were still in good shape, so instead of charging me $100+ to put in new shoes, they cleaned and adjusted them for much less. I appreciate the honesty.

While traveling through Lafayette, my sister and I had car trouble, we had been quoted a price on the repair from another local mechanic and wanted to make sure it was fair/reasonable. Mr. & Mrs. Tire gave a price that was significantly less, and even though they were not able to schedule the repair for several days, so we were not able to use their service, they did recommend another repair shop. Very professional, fair and helpful.

Embarrassingly, my credit card didnt work when I went to pay. I found out later that our company card has a $500 limit on secondary cards. Im sure the man working at the counter thought I had overextended my credit card, but he was still very professional and kind. LOL.The tires that they put on were much better than what Ford put on our new car.The new car tires only got 22,000 miles before they were worn out.The free rotation is an extra bonus.

Courteous personnel and timely repairs. UPDATEUPDATE: The work they did on my Right Front Caliper Brake came apart on I-465 in Indianapolis and, of course, theyre closed on Saturday and Sunday. They performed this work on Wednesday and this occurred on Saturday. I left a message on their voice mail and hopefully they will get back to me promptly.

Couldnt possibly be nicer people-- a dealership told me I needed my breaks replaced immediately. It felt slimy, so I booked my repair at Mr. and Mrs. Tire instead. They inspected my breaks and let me know that I dont actually need them replaced and they have tons of life left in them. This has to be the 3rd or 4th time theyve saved our family money on various repairs on our cars over the years. Good, honest people!

Arrogant and careless about customers car. They spoke lie to the customers. I asked them to: 1. oil change & tire rotation, 2. car ignition issue right after fueling, 3. windshield washer emission issue, and 4. other component checks. However, they only did first one, and they lied that they checked all the components and there is no problem. However, in the receipt, they only did first one, and get my money more than $60. I trusted first time when I stopped by the store few months ago and they treated me disrespectful as same as today, but they did not change their attitude and lying with their services.

Mr and Mrs tire always offer good service and use only original equipment replacement parts. They stand by their work, are courteous and reliable, get the work done on time, always double check with you on cost and schedule you so you can plan when the car will be in their shop. We have recommended them to relatives and neighbors and never been disappointed in the way our references were treated and the quality of work done.

Excellent customer service and prices. Ive been to this store twice so far. Once because I had some damage to the steering of my car. They fixed it in a matter of days and at a very competitive price. The other time I had a nail removed from my tire and patched for less than 20$

I have had great experiences with Mr and Mrs. Tire as they are honest and offer a good value. I had some work done elsewhere and asked them to give me a bid on the same job (after the fact and I erased the prices from the other shop.) Curt came in just a touch more than half of the cost of the other place! And a couple of times, he knew that they might not be able to do the job so they immediately referred me to another place. Very nice. very reasonable.

I have continued to use these folks for general maintenance and significant repairs and I have to say they have been the best service I have had in the area. I recommend them to my friends and co-workers. They have always gone above and beyond to keep my business and I try to return the favor by being a reasonable customer. Ever since they got rid of that guy who USED to work the front desk my experience their has been outstanding. Beside no other place in town has Vern and that is reason enough to go to Mr. & Mrs. Tire.

Ive brought a VW, a Subaru, and a couple Honda vans to these guys over the last 10 years for everything from an oil change to a timing belt replacement. Theyre priced fairly, stand by their work, and never do unnecessary work. Fast, skilled, and honest. Highly recommend.

Prompt, reliable service with a smile! Moved to town recently and finding a new mechanic you can trust is sometimes a challenge! The folks at Mr. and Mrs. Tire have been great. I got new tires from them in the middle of this awful winter we just had, and they got me in and out quick - with a plan for a regular tire rotation and maintenance plan. Talked me through the different options I could go with over the phone, waited while I called around for a better deal, couldnt find one, and was completely satisfied. Now they take care of my automotive business regularly. Id recommend them to a friend.

Customer service is always excellent. Even today for my free tire rotation they were ready for me as I walked in the door. They had told me it would take about 30 minutes when I had scheduled the appointment. They had me out of there in 15 minutes. Always friendly too.

So the other day I went there, told a woman that my tire was low, the lady didn’t even let me finish and was rude. She told me i need to have a appointment and 10 dollars for that. For the very first time, someone told me I need a appointment for inflating tires and it cost 10 dollars!!!

I am a Purdue student not originally from the Lafayette area, so when my battery and alternator went out I was quite stressed about the situation. Not knowing where to go and who to trust with my car just added to the situation. Luckily a family friend who is from around Lafayette recommended Mr. & Mrs. Tire. There website was very user friendly and I was able to schedule an appointment online over the weekend when ever other business was closed. They were very nice and helpful when I called in on Monday to get a price quote for the alternator replacement, after calling many places it was clear to see that they were amongst the cheapest prices of all the quotes I received. They have an awesome shuttle system I was able to use to get back to campus while my car was being worked on, and they were also willing to pick me up to come get my car when it was finished the same day. They did not try to trick me in anyway, and they fixed the problem quickly and at a fair price. Great service, great prices, and very friendly. I will definitely be using them in the future and I would recommend them to anyone in the area, especially Purdue students.

Not recommended at all. They replaced my carss battery and alternator two years ago and both parts are having serious problem now. My alternator is making intermittent noise and my battery is going to die.I have been charged ~$250 for new alternator with just 1 year warranty and you could easily tell how reliable it could be after one year. I know now that I could have gotten an OEM alternator with almost the same price and I could have bought a high quality and reliable aftermarket alternator with much cheaper price ~ $120 and lifetime warranty. My lesson from this experience is that always do some research before taking your car for repair.

Stopped in on a referral. I would not have thought of using a tire store for an oil change and the replacement of a tail light bulb.Quick and easy...I asked Mr. Tire to take a look at my tires, while Mrs. Tire finalized the bill.Instead of being told that I shouldnt drive off the lot without new tires, I was told that I had another 5k before replacement is necessary. HONEST!!!I said Ill be buy the new tires when I have my oil changed again in a few months.

Dropped off tire for repair for a client through AAA Joeys Enterprise Services responding. Client had no spare. They fixed her right up and I took it out and put it on. Excellent service

They do such a great job. They are a place you can trust. When I was in college, they knew I was on a budget and would be honest about what I needed to do today versus what I should do.

Not recommended. If you are just doing a simple tire job it might be ok. But the waiting time is ridiculous. Scheduled at 10am, and my car was taken into the shop at 11.30. Then told me they can’t do the alignment because my steering knuckle is bent. I went to Lyons then and they fixed it in two hours with nothing replaced.

Took a leaking tire in to Mr. & Mrs. Tire to be repaired. After taking it in 3 times to fix the same tire, the tire is still leaking! You have to schedule about a week out so this has been a month-long thing for 1 tire! They didnt seem to care much or apologize after explaining how many times I had brought it in. Will take my services elsewhere.

Terrible experience. They damaged my rim patching a tire. I asked what we could do to fix it and I never received a call back. I had to follow up 3 times and a week later, they flat out deny they did it. I try to buy local and support local business but when youre title is Mr. and Mrs. Tire, I would expect better service. Now I will be out over $200 bucks for a new wheel.

STAY AWAY!!My family and I have been taking our vehicles to Mr. and Mrs. Tire for over 10 years. However, the last two times I brought my vehicle there for regular maintenance (new tires, and oil change) I left with MORE issues with my vehicle than when I brought it in. For example, 3 months after receiving one of my new tires, it completely shred on the interstate! After bringing the issues up with the company, they told me I had a faulty tire (which I bought from them and they installed), they were very rude to me, and were completely unwilling to fix or address the issue and THEIR mistake! After being a dedicated customer for years, Im so incredibly disappointed at their quality of work and customer service. I will never take my vehicle back to them. Ever.

I took my Subaru Forester (2007) to another shop in town because I had a bad wear pattern on my tires and thought I needed new struts. They told me I needed all four struts replaced and quoted me a price. I checked with Mr. and Mrs. Tire and they were able to beat that price by 10% (I didnt give them the original price, this was just their going rate), and on top of that they offered a 10% discount for being a Purdue employee! The guys at the shop took a look at the car and did a great job of breaking down what had to happen now versus what could wait for a bit, unlike the other shop. This also corroborated other information I had about my struts (the back ones didnt seem so bad in other tests and they assured me that I could hold off for a bit). To top it all off, they were able to drop me off at campus and pick me back up after the work was done.I had a very good experience with Mr. and Mrs. Tire and would be happy to recommend them to friends in the future (especially if you work for Purdue).

HORRIBLE!! I have used this place for a long time with no issues, however, since they have changed ownership I have had nothing but horrible experiences. I had tires rotated and balanced, they only hand tightened the lug nuts. They also dropped my gas tank with broken brackets and simply told me they didnt know what was wrong but never mentioned the brackets. They have also under filled the oil during oil changes causing my engine to knock. Even the simplest of jobs they have managed to screw up. This new ownership has really destroyed the business and I refuse to go there anymore.

I get my oil changes here all the time, and they are cheaper than the dealerships. I even got a free oil change once because it was around Christmas Time. The guys are knowledgeable and they dont try to overcharge you with stuff you dont need.
