I found a great price on a pair of Rossignol Experience skis in the off-season. UtahSkis were $100 cheaper than Amazon and Skis.com and Blake in their customer service department was a real pleasure to work with! Blake helped me confirm the right length for the skis I was buying and worked with me over the phone when my internet connection went on the blink!I havent received my skis yet, but Ill be sure to update my rating and review when I receive them!
I purchased new snowboard boots and bindings from UtahSkis. After not hearing from them for several days after placing my order I inquired about the timing of my delivery. They informed me that the warehouse had sent over the wrong color boot. I informed them that I was fine with the different boot color and ship to the product. The product took 16 days to be delivered from the day it was ordered despite being in stock. They use the slow Fedex shipping method but that took only a few days. Upon receiving the product I realized the boot they sent wasnt just a different color but was completely incompatible with the binding system I purchased. This mistake points to a lack of product knowledge. I called immediately and they very quickly emailed me a return label. The guy I spoke with seemed to quickly grasp the error.I used my old gear on next trip as I had no time to fix this error. When I returned the product, I inquired 4 days after they signed for the return about when I might see a refund. Answer 5-14 days for the safety of their employees. I understand the fear and appreciate Covid protocol but in March of 2021, we know Covid doesnt ride on Fedex boxes. Certainly not for days and weeks.Basically, these people take a long time to process their orders and it seems theyre using Covid to excuse their extremely casual pace of processing returns. Its weird because they quickly process their email and promptly answer the telephone.I would not recommend buying from this place unless you have some time and patience to spare. Like summer.
Bought a pair of snowboard bindings and when they got here there was only one binding in the box. I reached out to Blake at customer service and he sent me this years model of the bindings for the same price. Thanks Blake.
Observed numerous negative reviews at some other review sites although there seemed to be a trend to the better side in recent months. Still a little skeptical, I called ahead (they answered immediately, contrary to what some others have supposedly experienced) to confirm that the skis I was eyeing were in fact in stock in their system. They promised to call me back and responded with a phone call within 30 minutes to confirm they had the skis in stock. I completed the online order on Wednesday and received an order confirmation email almost immediately/ I then received a shipment notification on Thursday, and the skis and bindings arrived on my doorstep on Saturday morning. I got the best price available with their coupon and free shipping as well. It doesnt get much better than that! Id certainly do business with them again. I felt as though I got the best value and great customer service.2/18/20 Note: This is a follow up to my original review on 1/25/20.. Given the previous great experience, I executed two more transactions with these folks, for another pair of K2 skis and two Obermeyer ski jackets. Once again the price and service were great. And the shipping was incredibly fast. Two day delivery via FedEx to my doorstep for both orders. These folks rock!
