So I have rarely shipped anything out except a few smaller things here and there from the local post office but I recently made a move out of state and needed to ship quite a few things.This locations service was excellent, their help was wonderful and very appreciated for someone who had never even walked into a UPS store before until then. Apparently theyre under new management at that location as well and theyre doing an awesome job!
Thank you for helping me and my boyfriend out today! They let us know they were under new ownership and the owner was actually work in the store today! His was very nice and so was his employee. I’ll be returning soon for some faxing. Thanks again for the quick and fast service.

The nightmare of Return to Sender was made much MUCH better by the crew at this location. Sameer was wonderful to work with. Which makes sense as to why all the other employees are great as well. They all go above and beyond to be helpful and I greatly appreciate them all.

My experience here was great. The hospitality, the speed of line/taking care of customers was fantastic! I dealt with a man named sameer and I swear to you if ups could get tips I would of tipped this guy 50% of my total due. Such an amazing experience and so friendly. I highly recommend this location over any other one. Every ups store I been too which I USE WEEKLY HAS NEVER TREATED ME THIS WELL! This is my location forever and always now!

I have shipped four paintings with this store and they always do an amazing job packing it and making sure it arrives safely. It can get a little pricey but it is definitely worth the peace of mind knowing that my shipments are in such good hands. Would definitely recommend for anyone shipping artwork!
Had the best experience at the Westland UPS store. All the associates that were working were very friendly & knowledgeable. While I was being served, each person that walked in after me was immediately greeted & attended to. Great experience. Highly recommend this location due to the friendly staff & service.

I’ve dealt with some pretty iffy UPS STORE locations or some very rude customer service reps but I was in 2 days in a row here in Westland and a employee named I believe sameer, sorry if the spelling is wrong, not only took care of everything I needed, but was extremely polite and got me in and out within minutes. I would seriously no lie drive out of my way any day to go to this location for now on!

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. Just came from the store. I was dealing with a woman regarding an amazon return - I was trying to understand the return method and packing since I had only made one Amazon return there before and at that time the process was different.She was bothered I was asking questions and visibly frustrated. I was getting answers such as “well Amazon says a lot of things. She was argumentative and had a chip on her shoulder during the entire conversation. She said multiple times I was rude. I finally said I thought she was being rude. Another UPS employee standing next to the woman I was working with, named Haley heard me say her colleague was being rude, she then screamed (yes, screamed) get out of the store and then ran into the back of the store even though she was in the middle of helping a man at the counter. The man was left standing there confused.When this happened, I asked another UPS employee (a man) who was standing behind the counter if he was the manager. He said yes and proceeded to do absolutely nothing to help with the situation. (Nor, did he help or address the man who was left standing there. I then asked the manager if I could still trust them to send the package after the exchange at the counter. At that point the employee, Haley who was hiding in the back screamed No!. I ask the manager if he heard what she said - and if they were going to ship my package (or just throw it out based on her comment.) He said he heard her comment, Then the manger made a sarcastic remark. At that point, I said, I think Im going to go, and the manager said Good. Leave and dont ever come back here. I said, yourre telling me that no reason. He said yes, I can say that. I let me know I would be calling the UPS District Manager. He said Good.Who in their right mind would ever let a trio like this ship anything for them? Let alone anything of value. Saying they are unprofessional doesn’t begin to describe this experience.Other reviews also note employees woman with an attitude issue, bad service etc.IF LOOK AT THE OWNERs /MANAGERS RESPONSES TO THE OTHERS WHO HAD BAD EXPERIENCES. HES AGGRESSIVE OR INSULTING THE REVIEWERS. Will be contacting a senior person at UPS. I dont think they would want their brand represented in this manner.EVERYONE IS GOING THROUGH SOMETHING BE KIND!

The hours on this location are incorrect on Google. They have a sign on their door stating that due to lack of staff they are closing at earlier times. Found this out the hard way when I showed up at 6:00pm, when they should be open until 7:00pm, and they were closed already.
Theyre closed down. Dont bother making the trip there and wasting your time
I would highly recommend NOT using this UPS store location. I returned 7 different items that I had purchased from Amazon, but somehow only 1 item made it back to Amazon. I have the Drop-Off package receipts along with pictures of each item on their counter as they accepted them. After Amazon told me that only 1 item was shipped back I went to the UPS store to find out why. The female worker was very rude immediately, so I asked to speak with the manager. Jacob the manager told me its not his problem nor UPSs problem and its not his issue or the stores. So basically if you drop something off at this location there is a good chance the receiver will never receive the item shipped.
I normally dont have any problems from this UPS store, but I went to this store location February 2021, because, I have My Choice Pick Up, or Deliverly, the deliver, drivers, have not been following my requested, direction, for leaving all the packages at the store. They always deliver the bigger, and more, expensive, items to my home anyway. I selected the My Choice Program, because people have been stealing a lot, of packages lately. So thats why I wanted to pick up,my own, packages. So I got a email telling me, that my item was undeliverable and they tried to deliver it, to my home. So I found out, that the item was a tube of mascara, so now they listen to my Request 🤔 I just had surgery, so I went into the Westland location to pick up my order. It was a black man standing at the cash register, and then, when one of the white worker saw me coming, he told the black worker, at cash register, to go and hes going to take care of me, so when I got to the counter, I was telling the guy, that Im a little bit upset, because I got a email saying that my package was undeliverable, but its just a tube of mascara. So I gave him my information, he looked it up on the computer, and I asked him, so is that the complete order? He said yes, and I told him, they dont deliver the items, that theyre supposed to deliver to my house at all, and that I wanted to get out, of the My Choice Program, and that, it didnt make any sense that a tube of mascara is undeliverable. The cashier said with a attitude maam we are independently owned you have to call the 1-800 number, so I just left it at that, and got my order and left. I really understand, that with the way the world is, now, everyone, is going through something, and no one is perfect and people are on the edge, but we dont need to take that, out on each other. People are getting, paid to do a job, we just need to do it, without making it hard on other people. 🙏🌄
Never seem to be open and hours are always changing. There is one woman who works there who clearly hates her job and treats customers as such.
Your opening time shows 8 on here but when my son walked to your store, it says 10. You need to update on here. It would of saved him a trip.

Odd to see a store where every customer has a mask yet the staff choose not to. When we asked the one manning the counter about it she got short with us and claimed it was her choice. Why should I come into your store if you are (visibly) not taking measures to ensure that I wont have to worry about whether or not the people I interact with are infected.In the interest of fairness, I did come back here some time in July to find the lone employee there was wearing a mask. Your response has more than negated any goodwill that seeing that had earned.
Terrible service. Mouthy sales clerk with a giant attitude. And the ONLY PAYMENT THEY TAKE IS YOUR BANK CARDS! NO CASH WHATSOEVER! Doesnt UPS know this is against the law? Cash is legal tender and must be accepted. I will no longer do business with them.Answer to owner: there is no shortage. I have called numerous banks and they have plenty of cash and coin. The 2 female staff are so rude, but they said the owner train them to treat customers that way. I returned something to Amazon and the female on the heavier side said the stated their lcation is tired of Amszon customers making returns at their location because Amazon customers aee to slow. The female was caughing in my face with no Face Mask on. The staff at that UPS location are extremely rude and unprofessional.
Usps delivered a package there for me but when i get there they tell me they dont accept usps packages but all the tracking information shows it was delivered to the store. so i went to the post office and spoke to the actual mail driver that delivered the package and he said they accepted it AND he even went back up there and then was told by someone at the counter they dont know where the package was placed so now im just S.O.L and a waste of money. Smh
Your customer service is wonderful, but no one had masks or gloves and there was no social distancing. When I offered a mask mask and gloves I was told they had them but didnt want to use them. I will have to find an alternative source for shipping as I provide services at the area Senior facility and will not risk myself, the Seniors or your staff. Please protect you and your customers.
Best service! These ladies are fast, accurate and friendly, I always trust them with my packages and go out of my way to use this location even if other UPS stores are closer because I know that I can count on them to get the job done and they are kind as well!

Went in to return something never had a problem before from Amazon, before all I did was walk in they scan my labels on the phone now they have you doing it off a computer which takes all day if you dont know your information. This takes to long .

Today was the 2nd time Ive observed/interacted with the same woman, but she was at a different location the first time. She never smiled, was very short, handed a man his papers back without a word or eye contact. She even answered the phone with the most monotone voice, answered in short sentences and hung up without a word. Even if you dont work in customer service, you know this is completely wrong. The other employees even seemed to be in a bad mood because of this. I have no idea how anyone hasnt talked to her about this immature, terrible behavior. Good luck to anyone that goes there on her shift!
This UPS Store is THE BEST! They pack and ship our packages in a STELLAR manner. I have NEVER had any problem with them, and I HIGHLY recommend them.

The manger was professional and polite. I went to get a document notarized as I had done at 2 other stores. The staff member (a young lady) was rude and extremely curt. I decided to go to the another store. I was there just after opening on a week day. It was so early in the day for someone to be that rude. I am not surprised they have a poor rating. Save you time/emotions go to another store. 2 stars for the manager.

Have been going to this location for a few years and have always had a good experience. The other day one of the newer employees didn’t have the best customer service attitude when he was helping me. I came in to return a book with a prepaid return label and box. He quickly informed me that it was going to cost $1. I was confused and told him I had a prepaid label. He seemed irritated and repeated that it was still going to cost $1, but didn’t explain why. I looked very confused and a different employee began to noticed our conversation. I asked why??? He seemed annoyed as he explained that there was a $1 fee for tape. I was shocked, because I had never heard of this before after all of these years of doing business with UPS. The employee was so preoccupied with making sure that’s I noticed how annoyed he was, that when I replied I would take my box home and tape it up myself, he cut me off to say that there would still be a $1 charge! I was shocked, because this was crazy and I NEVER received bad customer service at this location before. I took my box and left. I ended up finding $1 worth of change in my car and took the box back in and found that same employee smiling from ear to ear while he assisted a male patron. Luckily, I was helped by a different employee (whom helped me a few times before). He was very nice and pleasant and didn’t make a big deal about the transaction. One bad apple can really ruin things.
Horrible attitude, very rude. I’ve been to this one a couples times and I seem to get the one with a attitude. I’m not asking any questions, just dropping off and so there is minimal time and contact. No reason to be that rude!
This UPS store makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door and this makes mailing your packages a pleasant task. You wont be sorry mailing your packages at this UPS location.
Just had to drop off package and blonde lady is not wearing mask & other employees are. Then she has rude voice and not welcoming at all and doesn’t make any eye contact.
I used to frequently this location regularly but the ladies in there Ive never seen with smiles on their faces they have very uninviting attitudes seems unprofessional to me never speak hello how are you just how many I help you. I guess it doesnt really matter since they have been there for such a long time now with the same attitude. So I just took my business elsewhere were it felt like a more welcoming atmosphere. This is a really big issue with me as I never post reviews good or bad.

Each and every time I come to this ups, there is a sign on the door explaining they’re closed. This is by far the worst ups store and they should just close permanently if they never want to be there.
The Manager Jacob was extremely helpful. This UPS store exceeds expectations and does a great job taking care of their clients.
I went in 10 minutes to close to get something notarized. I was told they stopped notarizing 30 minutes before closing. It doesnt say that on the door or website so I drive out there for nothing.
Customer service was terrible!!!!!! Would drive a considerable distance to not deal with this again.

Ive gone to this location several times andwith each rep its different. I went one day and the tried to charge me a dollar to ship a phone back. I went back the next day and the girl took my package no questions asked. I prefer my customer service to be consistent. Otherwise, my packages have made it on time and with care. Being that I can get that from any UPS or FedEx store I havent returned to this location. Customer service is key in any business for me.

Very unprofessional. I called and asked if they provided notary services. I was told yes and they are open until 7pm. I walked in at 6:29pm and was told they dont do notaries after 6:30pm and the one he was doing would be his last one. They could have told me that on the phone and I wouldnt have made that 15 minute drive. Rude MF!!! It would have took all of 5 minutes to notarize my document. I will never go there again. Then had the nerves to say sorry. Im trying to be a better person so I just turned around and walked out instead of cursing him out like I wanted too!! Ill never step foot in their again.

Brought packages in to be shipped prepaid. And was told I had to pay a dollar per box to have take put on them. Really? A strip of tape.... This is how you nickel and dime people. The other store on Michigan Ave didnt charge when I dropped packages off yesterday and even asked if I wanted something inside to protect it. He did end up only charging me a dollar because thats what o had in change at the moment and they needed to be shipped today. Thank you for that. I understand its not the managers fault, but the owners. Lesson learned, make sure I tape them before I come.
I sent some stuff couple times now. Twice one thing out my orders didnt ship. Lucky corporate gave me my money. Also they nickel and dime the hell out of you. This is not bc there individually owned the one in dearborn heights next to Kroger is the best and the one in canton is also great just this one.

Rushed a next day air pre-paid package to the store, cutting it close but it was right at close time, 7PM on the dot. Lights out, gates locked. Had to drive the package to its destination myself in the city with my baby the next day for 3 hours. Thanks a lot

Went here today to send a package back to Amazon. Although we arrived close to closing, the hours online and on the door state 2PM. We arrived at 1:55 and the doors were already locked!!Why bother posting hours if they are irrelevant??
