A superb grocery store with healthy, fresh choices. An outstanding bakery, great fresh fruits and vegetables. Healthy choices at great prices. Beautiful flowers and plants catch your eyes when you walk in. So many choices and fantastic meat and fish. My go to store in Connecticut

I was shocked to see empty shelves in every aisle. It looked as though the store was closing but it is not. Hopefully this is not shades of things to come

Why are the workers in the bakery so loud and obnoxious? I think most people are afraid to go near them.

They don’t keep very basic first aid necessities in stock. Go to Trader Joe’s if you want food and CVS if you want pharmacy stuff. Sandwich? Go to Gaetanos. I literally work right next door and avoid shopping here. This place sucks!

Stop & Shop is no Shop Rite! Shop Rite treats their employees with respect and a genuine concern for the employees needs. Not Stop & Shop! Its a pleasure to shop at SHOP RITE If there wasnt self checkout I would never go to S&S!

Sold me expired food then wouldnt refund me terrible customer service. The person I spoke to on the food wasn’t friendly either.

A big store with a vast and varied stock. Be sure to check GoodRx coupons if you need prescriptions, you may save hundreds, and Im not exaggerating. They offer really good value on food, especially if you get their weekly coupons. The staff are friendly and helpful.

For such a large store, some items have very few choices. Staff is helpful.

A LOT OF SHELVES WERE EMPTYKOSHER FOODS FULLY STOCKEDPRODUCE FULLY STOCKED.NO TOILET PAPER. NO EGGS, NO BEANS, NO PASTA, THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. THE STAFF IS WORKING HARD TO KEEP THE STORE ORGANIZED IN THIS CHAOS.

Shelves were full and everything I wanted was in stock.

I rarely come to this store but out of convenience stopped in. Came here for just a few items and this store sold me 3 meat items that were EXPIRED. I didn’t realize until after getting home!! Plus HORRIBLE customer service at the “solution Center”! (If you work in customer service please be courteous to the customer instead of always having a bad attitude.) The manager apologized which was appreciated. If you shop here please check the dates on your items!

If you are ever in need of some quick item grabbing, do not hesitate to run by stop & shop. They have loads of items including organic & green for those of a healthy focused diet. Great shopping and staff

During covid19 scary period of time...went shopping for gorceries to discover our 2 salads 5.99$ Each an fish (cod 14$ & salmon 10$) were old, slimy, strong smell, discolored dark brown, with no expiration dates.Why would Stop&Shop of Westport even sell such products without checking an or rotating products???Bad enough my husband an I are unemployed...but to spend good money on rotten food???Crazy talkC

Very nice stop and shop: notably better produce and fish selections than any other Ive been to in Fairfield county. Prices are exactly the same as far as I can tell. We get most of our common staples and ingredients here.

This is a great Stop & Shop. Great selection and they have a very large natural and organic section. They also have a good kosher section.

I dont usually shop at Stop &Shop because Shop Rite has much lower prices. If Stop & Shop lowered their prices I would shop there more often. I believe that Stop & Shop is geared to the more wealthy clients

Went shopping today. Havent been in the store for months. It had everything I needed. Needed help locating items. A staff member escorted me to find several items. I also like the use of paper bags rather than plastic. I live in a country that hasnt outlawed plastic bags or styrofoam. Good to know.

Good food selection and most of time clean. Have some self checkout counters also. Only complain sometime when its busy you found few checkout counters open. Also should have dedicated space for cart in park lot.

They should pay the fee for my bags. I’m buying products from their store, often for more than $100 each visit. I’m expected to not only check myself out but now bring my own bags? What if I decide to buy more than fills the bags I brought with me? Well, thank you Walmart and Amazon for delivery service- I don’t need a bag anymore.PS- After your reply, I checked the law. It says that there s a 10 cent tax for plastic. No tax for paper. Just to be clear- Stop & Shop chooses to charge and take as profit the 10 cent charge per paper bag.

I went in to purchase for a client. I normally go to North Haven where everyone is friendly and helpful. Well the man who checked me out was not friendly at all to me and to the lady before me. Then I leave, look at my receipt and I did not get the sale prices. I go back in and the woman at the courtesy booth does not great me and seemed angry that I came back for my order to be fixed. She states I did not use my S&S card. Well I did and I heard it when it was put through. Well a very bad experience. You should really talk to your employees. Next time I go to Shoprite when in Fairfield!!!!!!

They have changed a lot since the strike, mostly for the worse. Staff is very rude and they run out of stock they wont give a rain check and take a long time to go check the shelves to make sure you are not lieing. Cashiers dont smile or say hello and you have to bag your own stuff. Nothing is close to what they used to be

Produce goes bad super fast. Employees are rude and unhelpful. Never do I go and not have an issue; wether bad produce, a very unhelpful employee, or unstocked shelves or not enough registers open.

Lots of parking spots. .. has variety in both organic and standard food items.makes great effort to compete with other stores like Trader Joes and Stews with quality and prices and they succeed.

Went there today April 14 selves were empty. Deli closed price seems high

Their cart retriever dented my vehicle while i sat inside . I reported it immediately and again asked why i hadnt heard from their insurance. A week AFTER that i spoke to the manager AGAIN. Finally, two days ago someone called from their insurance. I am NOW waiting for a letter to tell me where to go from here. You would think that such an overpriced conglomerate would not let this go or put off consumers for TWO FULL MONTHS!

Clean stop and shop, decent fresh produce. Standard Stop and Shop, which is good because you know where to find things.

I always enjoy shopping here wide selection of food. As any single parent k ows its never easy shopping with three kids The staff has gotten to know me and my kids and are always warm,helpfull and friendly.

Watch your wallet at this store, they systematically mis-mark prices on the merchandise (then play dumb and blame the customer) ...... not niceit is a whole routine they have - they mis-mark the prices (jacked-up high) but they make sure to include some kind of fine-print or word-play excuse for themselves in case anyone notices and complainsand the managers back it up playing dumb and with tough talk to the customers, or some kind of deliberate word-play on the printed price signs ............... they do it on purpose, not nice people
