This whole foods is incredibly wasteful. I have gotten deliveries several times to avoid the mask nonsense and the lame virtue signaling of the ignorant. How is it that you cant seem to grasp to consolidate and use two bags opposed to 6? You literally put one item in a bag at times. Not to mention the ridiculousness of I cant help you bag your groceries with your own bags, unless you use our wasteful paper brown bags. The ignorance is astounding. Common sense is not common. Up your vegan game instead of being the fake caring environmentally friendly garbage of this area. You have plenty of dead animals that were (humanely slaughtered), which is laughable and so absurd, for the unaware and selfish wanna-be elites of this area. How telling that places like Dallas have more vegan options at the whole foods there, than this so very hypocritial region.
A great place to shop but watch out for people who dart out between park cars that think they have the right of way. The food is great! You won’t be disappointed but some items can be a little pricey. If you are a Amazon Prime person you will receive a discount at the cash register. They have prepared foods and many wide variety of organic products.😃
Did a great job with 2 separate orders on Easter day. Store manager all the way to prime shopping team had to help. Had it done quickly and checked the order before I left. Wish the could do beef Wellington and baked Alaska. Stay safe/stay great!
Great hot food! Keeps me hopping back for more!
Terrible whole foods dirty and out of stock in alot of groceries the one in fairfield is better
Great selection, they have pretty much everything. I miss the sushi fish stand, but regular fish stand is high grade and produce is quality.
Terrible customer service,Apparently, if you bring your own bags you have to pack you own food, not sure why is that rule about and how much relation have with covid, but not matter how many groceries you got YOU have to pack your own food..and the cashier will look at you while you do it, they will not even offer to help just watch you doing their job. this place is overprice and people who work here dont really seem to enjoy their jobThere are better stores in town that have much better idea of customer service
The store itself is functional and at times good. The best thing about the store is the staff. They are its saving grace, otherwise Id give it zero stars our of five because it doesnt allow me to go into negative numbers. If youre willing to take a chance on erratic stock and confusing locations then youll be fine. The staff will go out of its way to try to help and always help you with a smile and warm personality. But if youre counting on staple food items or just items you count on, good luck, youll need it.However, and perhaps this is unfair of me to review, the clientele and the attitude they bring when shopping at Whole Foods lets anyone and everyone know how self-important they are. Obviously theres not many Whole Foods in economically lower areas, the prices are too high, so this is probably a theme at most of the locations. For me, I go to Whole Foods when its necessary or convenient to the level of desperation that I am experiencing.I gave it two stars but I wish I could rate the different components that make up the total review.Staff deserves more than five stars. But the experience takes away from their hard work and generous nature.
Great organic store to shop for. Courteous and polite customer service. Like the selection of products in this store.
All good, but the lady at bakery is very rude.
I like the store - been going since it was wild oats. but, they never have enough cashiers working and the self checkout is almost always closed, especially in the morning. the store is poorly run. especially during covid, how do you allow for a long line to build of people standing around?
Love their chicken tortilla soup; I buy it all the time. Great produce for an excellent price as well.
Reserved 2 small cakes (5 and 6) for my twin sons birthday. They were delicious but the only hiccup was that the person who was supposed to write happy birthday was on her break when I came by. Very grateful to Claire, who noticed my disappointment and arranged for one of the cakes to be complimentary. I really appreciated the gesture.
Very clean, well organized, the staff are very friendly.Over the weekend it gets crowded here so plan accordingly.
So expensive I bought a soup there it taste like water medium size i have to throw it away lost my $6 I was kind of mad.
Bathrooms vere absolutely disgusting FILTHY !!
Feel at home in this store. Personnel are polite, cheerful and helpful. They recognize regular customers and treat us like family. Jokes included. The produce is usually top notch and organic. Breads are fresh, organic and most times still warm. Salad and hot bars are extremely tempting, even when Im not hungry. Its all so good. Love this place.
I like whole foods because I can find many vegan options, but it makes me sad that still they have a lot products in plastic even when is not need it. I will give 5 when they remove plastic from the store. It is posible.
Not impressed. Hot bar some times is not well-stocked (i.e. buffalo wings consistently missing). Products/food in general are overpriced. Prepared sandwiches and meals are such a small portion size and super expensive. Stews is a bit less expensive and seems to be better quality and service. Further, there is signage for discounts that are not honored or have to fight with them to honor. Whole foods could do much better if they fixed some stuff.
I dont buy all my groceries here, of course, but what I do buy doesnt disappoint me. Its mainly produce, cold cuts, some dairy and bulk goods. Their produce is top notch, I really enjoy the organic carrots and salad mixes. I like the sale produce area at the front.Cold cuts are great, especially the in house kind, simply excellent. Sure, some extra price but you can tell the quality. I love the bulk aisle - theres some deals there. Especially in oatmeal, its significantly cheaper than the packaged kind and organic too. Plantain chips is a great addition to bulk items. I also like their baked goods area and their florist never disappoints. They had an awesome Amazon Prime deal for roses at Valentines Day - 2 dozen roses for $20?! (Something like that) It was unheard of compared to just about anywhere else.
Returned an Amazon product and couldnt be happier with their customer service. Thank you.
Could of had a better selection at the salad bar!
Today was there during the early stint since am over 60. Usually it’s good, but not as careful as weeks go by. For instance they had back to back cashiers this time, and what that meant was that there was a young cashier who when turned around, it meant that she was stood less than 18” from me as I was checking out. I admit I wasn’t aware of her until she turned around, and I almost felt her breathing down my neck.....then I realized this wasn’t right for social distancing at all! Other lines were empty so I don’t see why there was any need for this. Also, there are ones shopping during this time frame who are quite young and I think they’re doing the instacart or amazon pickup shopping. Kind of flies in the face of the reason the first hour is for those who are vulnerable, doesn’t it?
Good service but my cashier was rude
Great
Fresh food, Non GMO, Organic. Hot food bar, great for lunches or dinner pay by the pound. Samples of new products. Nice lady Manager. Super clean and easy to find on the Post Road in Westport.A chain store that feels like a family store. Deli, Bakery, Cheese, Butcher, fresh Coffee. Need Gluten free? find it here. Great staff, too.
Too expensive. A lot of organic foods, but VERY over priced. The staff is nice though.
Over priced, unmotivated (NOT all of course) cashiers, inconsistent quality control on hot prepared foods, and the quality of the bread/pie products in the bakery department are very ho-hum. I used to shop 3-4 x per week @ WFs. NOW, ITS 2-3 TIMES PER WEEK AT TRADER JOES . Great staff, great attitudes, the BEST CASHIERS, great variety, very innovative, and very fair prices. And 1x per week Im at Fresh Market. Bye, bye Whole Foods!
I usually like the store. I’ve been shopping for years. Today, however, people not wearing masks, having conversations with each other. This was also between and employee and someone. No masks, and standing and carrying on right by the automatic doors to leave. At least they should go outside Makes it difficult to “social distance”
Great job to the store management on social distancing and number of shoppers allowed in.Well done
Great for vegans.
Nice
Well-managed, busy store. Clean, attractive displays. Good variety of products. Helpful staff. Fast checkout. Bathrooms a weak point.
Disappointment!seems like new personnel attitude was added.i fell like i might go to stop & shop for what i experienced.my fault in assuming that whole foods still offered a higher quality experience.i know it is westport but snotty attitude is never becoming. hope they will make a successful try at improving!
Very clean. Huge food court. Easy to notice when you are driving
Great selection and variety. Well stocked and love their fresh produce. The staff are helpful and friendly.
I only go here for convenience. The staff are fifty cent nice. They stopped carrying my brand of creamer recently which sucks because I liked the small farm not the mainstream retailers, which they only seem to carry. Fairfield location has a much greater selection of stuff.
I like whole foods market
Mostly stocked shelves, courteous staff, clean place.
So I really wanted to give this Wholefoods location a 4 but it is held back by erratic customer service and the decreased variety of items available since the amazon buyout. Overall, a good experience with decent selection of quality items but not the same as it used to be pre-amazon.
Very nice store - good service, nice selections and good healthy options. (2017) Updated (2018) All the organic peaches and nectarines spoil within two days of purchasing. I have tried on different occasions in both this store and the Darien store with the same results. Appears that they are getting frozen fruits and letting it thaw out and it becomes mildewed after its purchased...thanks Amazon!
My favorite WF store in all Fairfield County! I am there practically every day for groceries and sushi. I like the buzz in the store and have found the pizza counter staff super friendly and accomodating. Another special thing in this store is their cashiers: the hairstyles and make up are fascinating and very creative. And they all look so pretty. Not sure if the store has a policy on creative staff, but they sure are and I thoroughly enjoy looking and sometimes discussing colors and shapes!! This may sound frivolous, but hey, life is tough enough so that we grab whatever happy, beautiful moments we can. Thank you Ladies!
Becoming insanely expensive. Help in produce didnt know what a spaghetti squash was and had to ask several people. Person helpful, but returned with yellow squash
It has foodThats goodGood enoughTo go thereMultiple timesA weekButIts good
Great store. Clean and stocked. Best Whole Foods ever.
They have the best people working there. Prices are fair. You get what you pay for. EAT LOCAL ! !
Went to pickup online order, what a complete disaster. Will never do that again. Order was not ready for pickup, one item was not available. It would be faster to do the shopping by myself.
Not the best Whole Foods around. Try Darien instead, more options.
Very good place to shop. They have provided .a lot of tables to sit and enjoy the food.
It’s a premium store with premium price and customer service representative and manager with premium attitudes! I am very disappointing with customer service at the Westport store. When the cashier makes a mistake on the pricing of an item, the manager and customer service desk make it extra difficult to get the “free item” and refund. It would be better if they just say “sorry”!
Great selection and quality at this location, and the staff is always so nice and helpful.
They are very courteous and they got a buffet bar of each type of food you looking for
Scam scam try to not give me prime discount had to report them
Decently large location, lots of organic and conventional foods. The sales cant be beat
Great service, whole foods is always a bit pricey but the people that work there make it a nice experience!
Great
2 strikes - out. Chiabatta looked looked a blob of raw dough, although I was told that it was supposed to be liked that. Chicken chorizo was literally semi-rotten - the stench of the meat was overwhelming and it went to the garbage right away. Management should be fired or taken to Fairfield store to learn how to operate a store.
Where can I go to get fresh organic produce and products without going full Vegan? Whole Foods Market. I love the variety and choices at Whole Foods Market. Its a little pricey but its really worth it. I tend to buy Whole Foods brand as I am on a budget. (Who isnt?) I love the fresh pastries, bread and coffee. The produce is always in bright colors shouting out Were healthy and yummy for you!. I could get lost in the tea aisle, theres such a huge selection not to mention the raw products ailse where you can get the exact type of granola, nuts, seeds and candies and the exact amount with DIY the scoops and scale. I also appreciate the large selection of non food items in the H&BA section, 2 isles filled with all natural skin care products, oils and incense and vitamins and supplements, even make-up.(Because when you order from Amazon you dont really know what you are getting until it arrives at your door and returns can be a pain.)The staff is always extremely helpful. Ive never had to wait on line and I never feel rushed like I do at Stew Leonards. Theres a Deli and a hot and cold buffet with a nice little space to eat in the front of the store. I even noticed that there are high chairs and toys in the dining area for children. (Lets get the younger generation into healthy eating. I love it.) Theres a large clean bathroom with changing tables as well. I love Whole Foods Market so much that my BF practically has to drag me out of the store. Theres just so much good stuff going on at Whole Foods Market. I highly recommend.
Rich selection and good quality of products. Prices are higher than average. I like to buy cheese, fish, meats and produce here, while I usually skip the packed items (i.e. snack bars, pasta). I enjoy their sampling at the cheese aisle, while I dont necessarily agree on the 19$/lb cod filet.
High end quality food. food with a higher purpose, whether GMO free or responsibly harvested fish or seafood.
Seem to always have what I need. Great service, helpful staff.
The cashiers at the hot bar area were replaced with self-checkouts. Ill probably not come here anymore for that reason
The best in healthy food, you want to get healthy, this is the place to go
I wish more super markets would have the refillable water machine. That is the only thing that keeps me coming back.
Stay away from their soups. Had chicken noodle in plastic pint container and got food poisoning. Never again!!
Love this location. Super food. I am willing to pay more for the incredible choices they have.
Cashiers are not trained well enough...if you ask to do two transactions or engage in conversation they look at you like your crazy. Also was very embarrassed when I was trying to pay with food stamps and the cashier voided my transaction and made me wait ten minutes at customer service desk to complete the transaction. She also loudly said I dont have enough money so my card isnt going thru. I was terribly embarrassed!!
Great overall food and service
Very clean & well stocked with every thing you can dream of & want.
Super clean and can always find what I need.
Go to stus place is trash. This place is the worst Whole Foods I have ever been to, and I love Whole Foods. The staff is rude and the hot bar is absolute trash. Im pretty sure they just dump the same garbage on top of the old stuff. AVOID AT ALL COST.
Good selection of healthy food. Wish the hot bar was on par with Darien or Port Chester
Good choice of healthy food.
Confusing layout makes this store one of the most confusing Whole Foods stores. Yet they have the usual goodies you yearn for!
I love their indian buffet... a little pricey
Not quite up to par with other Whole Foods in size, selection or quality. They do have nice potted herbs and other plants for sale in front of the store.
Great quality
Whole Pay Check
Whole paycheck: for slightly above averageEVERYTHING
I like the fact they focus on organic food but their selection of health food is not as good as some other health food stores.
Customer service leaves everything to be desired.
Very fresh food and very friendly staff but to expensive
Its comfortable.relaxing to shop.
The store has gone way downhill.Dirty and overpriced.
Good selection of healthy meals for lunch and dinner
Very disappointed that no challah was delivered for the Friday of a holiday weekend.
Love the oatmeal for 2.99 !
Expensive expansive and weird.
Excellent for Organic food
Love salad
Heaven on earth
Good choices
Good but a little expensive
Best coffee in Connecticut
Luv luv luv Whole Foods!!!
Great presentation and wonderful staff
Good stuff
Never again
