Prepared foods are always yum, and the staff are all very nice. Produce is always fresh and they have everything I need without having to walk a mile through the huge produce section at the supermarket. This is where I get the type of Torrone that I like, which is sometimes hard to find. I love the arancini - always a treat!

Got a very good piece of pizza and a prosciutto sandwich that was decent. There was some produce that was on sale at a good price as well as slicing mozzarella that was $4.99 a pound. However the wait to get a sandwich and deli was forever so I would probably not go back again.

Amazing chicken cutlets! Sliced thin and seasoned well. Second time bought unseasoned cutlets that are also ultra thin and tender and made our own. Either way, you cant go wrong!

Worth the drive from anywhere. Im always thinking about the next time ill swing by. This place is amazing. The best ingredients make the best meals. Even if you cant cook, the prepared foods are a quick and easy way to get an awesome meal or app to bring to your next gathering. I always find room in my cart for the Risotto balls, with some D&D San Marzano Marinara.

Was in the store, on my phone and the male employee with the hat/glasses was following me around and inches from my face, in my personal space was screaming at me to wear a mask. My family has been coming here for YEARS, will NEVER come back! Very concerning to have an employee with that aggressive attitude.

I cannot imagine the treat of shopping here each week We arrived for our annual family visit...and stocking up on meats and cheeses for the week was the perfect welcome-back to Connecticut.

I found a post of facebook stating that they offer prime cut of meat. Being in the area for work I decided to head over. I bought a few Prime NY Strips to try. Upon further inspection I can assure you none of their cut were prime. The prime distinction comes from the fat in the marbleing. None of the steaks I looked at should have ever been sold as prime. At 19.99 per pound these steaks were not worth the money and they are playing a bait and switch game with their customers. They can state what they want. My father was a USDA inspector for 47 years. I happen to know a thing or 2 about steaks

Love D&D Market! Ive loved it since childhood when it was the center of activity on Franklin Avenue. It was a cultural as well as a commercial attraction. If the food/ingredients you want are Italian, then D&D is the smart choice.

Very nice Italian market with excellent cuts of beef and a great assortment of home made pork and chicken sausages. They also have a great deli with all kinds of pasta salads, stuffed breads, cheeses and soups. And, of course, cant forget the italian cookies. Highly recommended by yours truly!

Best chicken cutlets anywhere.!

D&D Market is a scaled down version of the original market from Hartford. The butcher selection is always fresh and the sausage selections are impressive. The land o lake American cheese is usually on sale and has been a good teaser to get you to this establishment. Imported cheese selection is very good. This market is known for the quality deli section with just above average pricing for your everyday items like milk, eggs and tomato sauce. They do run daily specials that are worth tracking, especially the San Mariano tomato sauce. Besides the limited size of this market parking is at times difficult and can be very nerve racking trying to back into traffic. Worth a trip.

Fantastic place. Reasonably priced, great tastes and ample portions. Garlic bread and calamari apps. Shrimp fra diavlo, penne ala vodka with grilled chicken, rose pasta with sausage entrees. Friendliest and personable owner Jimmy. Will return and encourage others. A true gem.

When Wolcott Hill Market closed I was not happy. However D&D stepped in and brought back the great little market I had been shopping in. The prepared food is awesome. Their deli and meat department always have great selection and quality food. They never disappoint.

Great place for good meats and spices, good bread deals too! I shop there at least once a month for the best cuts of meats in the area the have some great looking cooked foods too but their expensive, the cook chicken breast goes for 7-8 dollars per pound!I will try it when I can tho but not until my bills are paid...oh and the have STATE LINE CHIPS a fav of mines thats hard to find.

Been shopping there for the past couple of months. Parking is abut difficult. However the market offers a variety of prepared dishes. The specialty meets offered are great.

Unique Italian and other foods. Good selection of meats and deli. Also offering prepared foods. I got a speciality sausage for new years and cheese with truffles. Both expensive but worth it.

Great place. I have been going to d&d for 40 yrs. First Hartford and now wethersfield. Unfortunately the two best butchers left, they knew exactly what my standards were.

They sell good meat, I like to get sirloin ground meat for hamburgers and macaroni and for meatballs and meatloaf I like to get the mix which is beef, pork and veal they also have fruits and vegetables and italian miscellaneous

It was my first time in the market and although the cashiers looked like they were just hanging around and there was noone at the meat counter the woman who waited on me in the center prepared foods section (Karen) was fantastic! She answered my questions and waited on me quickly despite the line of people ahead of me.So efficient and friendly! Ill be back to seeher soon!

Have traveled from Farmington to the D&D market for many years for Roses incredible Arancini and their incomparable sweet and savory sausage. Their home made meat sauce is the best, bar none. And the only prosciutto that compares with theirs is in Italy. Love this place!!
