I wish I could leave zero stars. I also wish I never step foot at this location. I traded in my phone and I’ve gotten the run around regarding my traded phone. The incompetence at this location is disturbing and I am close to cancelling my Verizon account altogether. It’s so unfortunate as I have been a client for over a decade!

I have always had a good experience at this store. The staff listen without inturrupting, have patience, and seem to know when they have reached the end of their ability to help. In that instance, if they can, they will give suggestions for further action.

Poor experience... Went into the store hoping to upgrade my current phone. Store workers basically kicked me out of the store saying they can’t do anything for me... I then went to a different Verizon store and they were able to assist me in upgrading my phone with ease.

I am totally mystified by all of the negative reviews Ive read on these folks. I actually went in there loaded for bear and the high quality of service completely blew me away.Not only were they friendly, there were MANY salespeople on the floor, and all were ready to assist me. I explained what I needed, and John stepped up to the plate. He ran a background on my service to determine if I was getting the best bang for my bucks and we not only streamlined my plan, but gave me upgrades on a new phone at really reasonable prices as well!I think what happens all too often is that people go in to buy high end electronics without even knowing what they want and/or need. Salespeople are salespeople, not certified technicians. They can discuss the generalities of a myriad of different devices and help you to customize a monthly plan of service, but ultimately the decisions are up to you.Honestly, you wouldnt go into a car dealership and ask a salesperson why the car you bought there has a transmission that goes tick-tick-tick would you? Hardware and software problems with phones is really no different, and to expect miracles from a salesperson is really quite unfair. There are MILLIONS of cellphones out there, and Verizon (or this store in particular) didnt intentionally sell you the one that broke.Bottom line, do your homework BEFORE you walk in and your experience will be much more productive!/rant

These guys are awesome. I’ve been there a few times and they’ve been nothing but helpful. Last time Michael helped me with a return and was accommodating and straightforward. I really appreciated the help and it’s nice to deal with people face to face vs automation. Thanks!

I walked in with only two people working. I understood they were busy but neither even acknowledged my present. I waited 45 min before someone walked up to me. After an hour I finally decided to leave. In that time 3 more customers walked in. I will not be returning to this store as it is very poorly managed

I would recommend this location to everyone who is looking for a great service. My husband and I were switching from another carrier to Verizon. The employees at Verizon in Wheaton were super friendly and helpful. Especially Diane, who was helping us all the way through. Her people skills are impressive. The way she does her work - flawless. Diane made a whole positive and superb impression about the Verizon company. I can confidently say that she is the best representative of the mobile carriers that Ive ever seen for my 5 years living in USA. Had a big pleasure to spend that evening with such a professional people!

Was pleased with both store personnel, one yesterday that scheduled a replacement iPhone for my wife and the one today that got all the files transferred over. Was a little disappointed as was told the replacement was going to be an iPhone 8 but was sent a 7. Still, high praise for the two store employees.

There were 2 employees helping other customers when I walked in. I didn’t even get acknowledged until they were done with them. I’d at least expect a “hello” or “be right with you.” Anyway... the process was pretty quick of getting me a new phone once I was helped. My biggest issue was they didn’t actually activate for me? They put everything in a bag with instructions and sent me on my way. I’ve never experienced that before. I did run into a service transfer issue that VZW customer service was able to correct very quickly. Overall I got a lazy vibe.3 stars because when I was actually helped, the young lady was very nice and personable. She was a fill-in and I can understand how confusing it must have been for her in a new store.

IPhone screen went black. When I arrived at this location two employees were sitting together and didn’t get greeted when I walked in. I had to approach them. The male made no conversion or even said hello, just kept yawning. The female stated because the find phone was enabled I’d have to use their computer to log in. I stated I had two factor authentication and wouldn’t allow me to log in the night before. Being the screen was out but phone on. She told me I had to go to the apple store. When I did, they were shocked. I could turn off find phone function with out passing the two factor authentication. They need customer service and knowledge help. Wednesday 130pm.

The customer service was amazing! I was in the need to switch my phone service but unfortunately was still locked in to a phone and service plan that never treated me well. I walked in to this Verizon store because a family member referred me due to outstanding service provided and my experience was no different! The manager Jeremy greeted me immediately with the rest of his staff. Jeremy personally answered my difficult questions and got me to the proper associate to help me make my situation better. They helped me when it seemed like no one else could and for that I will continue to go to this location for anything I need and refer my friends and family here as I know they will be taken care of! Thank you again to Jeremy and his crew for an outstanding job.

Horrible customer service. Walked in to check for an upgrade and an issue with my phone I have currently. Been a loyal customer for 6 years now. Anyways I decided to wait on the upgrade and the customer service employee literally walked away from me and didnt address my problem with my current phone. All they want is to make sales on phones. Not help people. Ignorant and rude. Never returning to this location.

I am a very happy Verizon customer. Most of the staff is very knowledgeable at this location, but occasionally you get that one person that comes across knowledgeable, but once you do some research you find out the person didnt have a clue about what Verizon offers.

Salespeople were not professional, but I went ahead and ordered an iPhone anyways... I signed a receipt saying I paid $61.86 with my debit card to upgrade my phone.A few days later they charged my bank account for $123.43. I called to ask about this and they said it was extra fees. Not sure how you can charge extra fees when the amount I signed for in store was almost half that amount. Now I see all the reviews of them cheating people. I would highly recommend going to another Verizon store.

I have tried to understand the pressure of the business and have provided grace 3-4x I have gone to this place. Yet today, the customer service was again horrible. They act like you are bothering them, sharp tone, degrading. Unfortunately this has been my experience with the Verizon store to the north as well. Is leadership creating this poor environment? If people dont like to solve problems, then find another job! Very rude!

Worst location ever. Continually screwed up my warranty replacement, and when the phone finally showed up AND WAS A DUD that did not work, they proceeded to screw up the order again and somehow post it as 5 day shipping with a different courier. when i called to complain they just kept parroting well its our system that generates it. Really? the system randomly downgraded me to 5 day shipping from overnight, and from Fed ex to USPS without any user control? either their system or their employees are messed up, but im guessing its a bit of both. I may honestly cancel my verizon service after this debacle as ive had no working phone for two weeks now. do yourself a favor and switch to a carrier that values its customers even a little bit.

I visited Verizon at Butterfield and Naperville -Wheaton Rds today. Was greeted by the manager when I walked in. He assessed my issues and referred me to his associate, Chris. Chris was patient with me, answered all my questions, and sold me a new Plantronics Bluetooth. Chris did an excellent job! Hes the man! This was the best experience I had with a Verizon employee in 18 years of being a customer. Thank you, Chris!

I travel from my home in Aurora bypassing nearby Verizon stores because this store on Butterfield Road and Naperville Road in Wheaton has always resolved my technical issues. Just today LARRY restored the text messages I accidentally deleted on my relatively new Samsung Galaxy S10e phone. He was very patient in answering my questions. This is a good place to buy a smart phone and, if you need assistance, ask for LARRY. You wont be disappointed!

Went in to investigate some new phones. When I had a question, the manager told one of the employees to assist us. There was an audible groan as the employee had to get up from leaning (laying?) on the counter to help us. She was very rude from the start. Maybe she was upset that I woke her from her nap. I asked about some pricing I saw on Verizons web site and she told me that I could not get it (no explanation). When I told her that AT&T had better prices on some phones I was looking at she told me to go switch to AT&T. With customer service like this, it is not a surprise that Verizon is losing customers.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have had my new phone for a month. The phone does not function properly so I assume I can take it to the store I bought it from and get some help. Wrong. I walk in, no one in the store and 5 guys standing around. I am told its your problem and you need to contact the phone maker. I accept that. Then I ask, do you have a phone number I can contact, and the answer is no, you have to Google it and find it for yourself, then he walks away and says nothing to me. In short get out of my store and quit wasting my time. Please, Please, Please do not do business with this store. One star does not represent how I really feel.Update, I went to the Verizon store in Naperville. They were slammed busy, but within 5 min. someone looked at my phone, detected the problem and fixed it. Nothing else to say.

Worst customer service ever. This store is all about sales & not about customer service, once products are purchased. Customer always wrong, store always right.The most frustrating thing is to see 5 - 7 staff standing around talking to each other, but not helping you. I was told they are the sales staff.I have taken classes & have more questions. Customers are allowed to ask 3-5 questions re products & thats the end of the help, even though staff standing around w/no customers. The staff has defensive comebacks for issues, never Im sorry youre unhappy, or lets see if we can fix this.The vibes are bad in this store.Will cancel Verizon when contract up. I know others who have canceled due to this store.

We had a bad experience here. As soon as we walked in we felt unwelcome. John was our assistance. He was rude and made us feel like we are bothering him. We had couple problems, but he wasnt even willing to listen. He just pushed our phone away and said its broken. But after demands he finally agreed to assist. He refused to help us with another problem., its your problem. We went to Verizon in Naperville, they solved our problem in few minutes.

I went there and told them I wanted a quote for a new phone. They added me to the cue and I waited 20 min. Their system went down and the guy told me he could just tell me to get an idea of cost. I don’t know why I had to wait 20 min for a 30 second answer.
