I am thoroughly impressed and pleased with the service rendered to meby my Service Advisor Mr. Miguel Duque-Bedoya. He is welcoming and effective explaining the work to be done and time to be completed. And he always advises me of any-and all Volvo recall items to be addressed. It is said that the initial contact with a company representative will set the perceptions for all follow on engagements with the company staff or services.Secondly, I will add that the service performed on my 2019 XC60 was completed promptly and correctly. As a longterm customer of White Plains Volvo Sales and Service Department, the current vehicle being my fifth, I am more than pleased with the service department an Mr. Duque-Bedoya. I highly recommend the White Plains Service Department.
This place is a joke they will overcharge you. Get your name wrong every single time because theyre not hearing you out on the repairs you need. They go by what they believe the repairs are which still leaves your vehicle at the end of the road having to be towed. Repairs take more than a week with and will not provide you with a loaner Even if not giving you a loner they do not discount you for you having to rent a vehicle on your own due to their unprofessional business running. Other news a buddy of mine brought a car here and when papers were signed they told him to pick up the car next day they would do a complimentary wash before giving him the keys and detail the car when they detailed the car They buffed paint off the car and rubbed the white paint into gray plastic mirror edge !
This place is absolutely horrendous. From the service to the staff. Went in for routine maintenance and a recall for software update Which Volvo emailed me about. I get there and they had no idea of the recall?? How is that possible VOLVO? 4 hours later I get my car back, and driving home on I-95 interstate - What I can only describe as sounding like a tire is blown!! I’m traveling at highway speed with a truck behind me, almost causing an accident! I get to the shoulder to find out their “staff” DIDN’T PUT THE UNDERCARRIAGE BOLTS back on! 5, yes FIVE bolts missing, allowing the lip to pop off at a High speed on a highway. This could have caused a major accident, dropping down like a snow plow! - Of course it’s end of day, and NO ONE answers the phone. No way to call for assistance. Now stuck with the damage!
Went in for routine service, my vehicle was returned dirty and with a stain on the leather seat. Was promised a free detailing to remove the stain and after 3 weeks still no follow-up to schedule an appointment. I’ve called them multiple times and no one answers. Absolutely terrible experience, do not go here.
Very crowded and difficult to navigate. Staff very helpful. Jordan especially thoughtful and efficient.
Big thanks to Albano for turning a bad experience into a good one! Highly recommend him as service advisor. Beware that it can get really busy so pick a day of the week thats not so busy when servicing your car
I dont even want to waste my time on this review... 2nd bad experience in regard to customer service. Note to Employees: If you dont naturally like human interaction, have a welcoming personality, and arent willing to possibly deal with an unhappy customer (once in a blue), then maybe customer service isnt the job for you.
Once again a great experience at Volvo Service WP. Utilized the pick-up/drop-off service and had my cars maintenance, oil change and inspection done so quick and easily. Service is top-notch and always such a pleasure.
First class service (they came to my house to drop off a loaner and pick up my car), communication, professionalism and they addressed all my concerns right away. I will only use Volvo white plains for service going forward.
Great and prompt service. Very courteous staff.
I took my car in after being told about a recall. They were nice to give me a loaner. I really appreciated that. But when I came into to pick my car up, they told me I would be charged for something I didnt authorize. Even private garages that routinely lie, cheat, steal, overcharge, at least inform you in advance that they are going to rob you.I will avoid this place if possible. I am reluctant to go back in there which is a bummer. I prefer knowing in advance when i am about to be taken.
Updating my review from 1 star below to 4.Today I gave the service center another chance and it was a completely different experience from a year ago. John S. was the Service Advisor, he called right away to talk through the work being performed and timing. I got another call during the day to provide an update and then to notify when the car was completed. John was friendly and organized - great support provided by him!We also used the pickup service - they were very prompt and communicative.I’m happy to see the significant improvement compared to last year. Looking forward to continuing to use Volvo of White Plains.——————-Terrible customer service here, this is the last time I use this location. I reserved an appointment for a scheduled maintenance at 9:30 am. By the end of the day, nobody had reached out and there is no answer on any phone line. To top it off, the voicemail boxes are full! The next morning, I had to continue calling nonstop until someone answered. After a long hold, she had to escalate to her manager, Frank, because she couldn’t get a status on the car. A bit later she called back saying it would be done shortly. Now, 5 hours later, no car and no update. I again call and call with no luck. Finally after calling the sales location I was able to get some assistance. She called the service department and “an adviser will call you soon”, but couldn’t say if my car would definitely be done by end of day today, 2 business days after my scheduled appointment. Unacceptable, the only response was “we are busy”. I’ll opt for a longer drive to get some real customer service, this is not the Volvo service I expect.
It has been a week and I am still waiting for someone to check the voicemail.
My S60 was serviced today at 12 month service, oil change and NYS inspection. No charges included inspection. Service rep was vrry nice and my best dealer service experience.
Terrible! DO NOT GO HERE. My daughter needed her car serviced before going off to college. She had an apt scheduled for 10 days before leaving. They took the car, no updates, no call backs when called for updates. Lies from service department. Finally picked up the car and brought it to steve at ramsey Volvo. He had it done in 1 day! Read reviews before you waste your time.
Horrible service. They tell you your car is ready and then they do not call you back and state it will be delivered 4 hours later.
The service reps are great. Very friendly and helpful. It sounds like they are the overflow for another center that (maybe?) closed, so they are a bit backed up at this moment in time. That said the reps have tried their best to be helpful and accommodate.
Very attentive and helpful staff. Feel taken care of. Some services are complimentary. A little off the beaten path, but you can find it.
Great service dept, far better than where I purchased vehicle. Professional, friendly, very price competitive and even their non-technical staff can diagnose problems! Cant thank them enough.
If their customer service department were as reliable as Volvo cars are this review would have 5 stars. I dont know what has happened to them, but its terrible. No one calls back and when they do they have no idea what is going on with your car.
Impossible to actually get someone on the phone who actually knows anything. I called with after breakdown on my XC90 and the best they could do is offer an appointment two weeks out. Horrible follow up and communication.
Took my 12 S80 in recently for an oil change and a chirping in the engine. Chris S., the Service Advisor, said that I needed the serpentine belt replaced, expensive but it would take care of the problem! $1,300 later, I got the car home and the A/C didnt work and the chirp was back. Brought it back, they neglected to reconnect the A/C, but NOW Chris S. says, ..no, the chirping sound is the breather box, and thats $400+. When I questioned him that he had said the serpentine belt would take care of the problem, and not the breather box, he put the blame on me saying that I had misunderstood him when he said the serpentine belt would solve the problem....terrible customer relations and even worse service. DO NOT TAKE your car here...they have no idea what theyre doing; they should never have closed the Mt. Kisco location, I bought and had my Volvos serviced there going back 15 years and NEVER had a problem. This new location is too massive, and I got the sense they are just trying to sell expensive repairs...so in essence, I got an oil change for $1,300! STAY WAYYY AWAY from this place.
For my 1st visit to this service center they informed me that I didn’t have a backup camera. I bought a pre-owned 2015 Volvo S60 T5 from the L.I. City dealership and was surprised to find out that I had no backup camera. They checked my fluids and washed my car and were generally very courteous. The lounge area was clean and fully supplied with drinks and snacks. They made me feel like part of their Volvo family. I will now be doing my servicing at this location instead of traveling to L.I.City. Thanks!!
Since they moved part of their operations from Mount Kisco the service has been horrid. It’s impossible to reach anyone at the location and in person they act like they are doing you a favor. Hopefully this is just growing pains but as a long time VOLVO owner, this makes me think twice about another purchase.
Not the advertised business
Horrible customer service, rude with no help offered other than saying to go to another dealer! Takes a month to get an appointment for a warranty purchased from Volvo.... Absolutely crazy.
Over a week for them to check the bolt recall ...car has still not been placed in the shop
Satisfied with the service
RIP off no sales
