My son and I Drove from Buffalo to White Planes(6.5 hours) to look at and purchase a car from a neighboring dealer. The car we drove all that way to see was extremely misrepresented. As we were heading home I noticed that White Plains VW had some Audis for sale in front. We stopped in to inquire. They ended up having a very nice Audi A3 at a good price. My son ended up buying the car and we couldnt be happier with the way Lucky and the staff treated us making our journey 400 miles well worth it trip!!!

Sold the car I had a deposit on and tried to make it right with a suboptimal replacement. Had a seamless experience elsewhere that demonstrates that this dealer lacks a lot in terms of user experience. Improvements are needed to fix their processes and communications to become better.

Wish I could give them NO STARS!! Worse experience ever.My experience with this dealership was horrible and extremely unprofessional and unhanded. Met with them on Wednesday to buy a used car for my kid, on Thursday I called to discuss a deal. I was told by the sale person the manager was not in but will get back to me, NOTHING Called on Friday, told the manager was heading back to the dealership will call me NOTHING.Saturday called at 11am, was told the manager is looking it over and will call within the hour, still NOTHING. Sunday left a message.Finally Monday after I had to call AGAIN I spoke to the manager and was told he never got any of my messages !!!!! interesting..... We made a deal at 11:30am, I received the paperwork to complete for the deposit and then at 1pm, I get a call from the manager that the car was sold Saturday NIGHT!!!!! Meanwhile after all my calls and no return call for the car even Saturday at 11am they sold it and the manager did not even know about it. Not sure who is playing the games here but to treat people like they did, is a disgrace.This is not the first car I bought however my first horrible experience with a dealership. Such a LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I leased an Atlas Cross Sport back in January 2021, thinking we were buying a home outside of NYC and I would need a car for the commute in every day. We ended up buying a place in the city, only a few blocks from my job. Between the lease payment, insurance, and parking, I was paying a ton of money each month for a car I never used. I was interested in ending my lease, but no had idea how to go about it or how much it would cost since I still had about 30 payments left. We spent about 10 minutes with Tommy, cut him a check for a VERY reasonable amount, and it was done! So easy, everyone was very nice. They even gave us a ride back into the city since we left the Atlas there with them. Couldnt have been easier.

Worth the drive from CT. We saw the car we were searching for on their website, called them up and later that evening we were driving off the lot in it! The folks at this dealership stayed late for us because we were traveling from CT for the car and couldnt get there during the day. They still took the time to answer ALL of our questions, go through the entire car with us, help us connect our phones to the car before we left and they did it with a smile. Never once did we feel rushed or like we were imposing on them. The next day when I realized I had forgotten a couple of things they responded immediately and even though the sale was over they were extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this dealership and would definitely go there again.

Easily the best car buying experience of my life. My wife and I stopped by with mere interest in a new Atlas and left 3 short hours later with exactly that. I have never seen a more efficient or diligent sales staff working together. No silly sales bravado, just down to earth people that obviously enjoy what they’re doing and care about making lasting relationships with customers. The entire staff was amazing from top to bottom. The owner, Tony, was personally training our new salesmen and it’s obvious that he cares about his employees in a way that demonstrates leadership and integrity. I would submit that they’re redefining the car buying experience and I would suggest giving them your business. The dealership Itself is spotless, bright and has a very modern aesthetic. Did we just become White Plains VW customers for life? I believe we did.

My experience was nothing like the review, I had to leave work early twice to find out my paperwork was not ready, which would have resolve in a simply phone call from WPV. I pick up my vehicle on July 2nd and was advise that I have to connect the Car-Net at home. I contacted my sale person he told me I need to contact service, when I did was given the number for Volkswagen literature, who given the correct number for Car-net, and was advise that it was not connected. I have to contact the service department, the earliest appointment I could get is August 25th because the vehicle have to stay in the shop for a day and I need to get a loaner. This is not the kind of service I expected from Volkswagen. The icing on the cake is that I need to replace my windshield which is cracked . I contact the service department less than half an hour ago and the young lady told me I have to order the glass and they can put it on and I have to paid for it, WPV dont accept insurance claim. I am so disappointed in the service, and wanted to let everyone know if you dont have time to waste with unprofessional dealer. Go where you are appreciate as a valuable customer.

Horribly run dealership. Do not waste your time. I first inquired about a car and was told it was available. 10 minutes later I was told it already had a deposit on it. 2 days later I was called and told the person with the deposit isnt responding and if I am still interested, the car is mine. Sure, Im interested, I instantly filled out the credit report then didnt hear anything back from the dealership. I called and texted then finally the next day they told me the original buyer was picking up the car. Ok, scummy move by the dealership but whatever I understand. 4 hours later, after I was told the car was no longer available, the dealership pulled my credit report. I called them to see why they were now pulling my credit and they had no answer. Eventually I find another car I want, Im continually assured that this time there are no other deposits and the car is mine. I give them a deposit and am told management will call me to set up a time to pick up the car. A day goes by, nobody calls, so I keep reaching back out and Im told management will call soon. Another day goes by and nobody calls, then Im told there is an issue with the title and they should be getting it the next day. Ok, fine. Next day they ignore me the entire day, then call me to tell me there is an issue with the title and can not sell me the car. I now see they sold the car to someone else. I think they use fake listings just to try to get people in the door and trick them into buying something else.

Great Dealer. Unlike other VW dealerships: the inside is well maintained and staff seems of a much higher caliber. Purchased my 1st third row SUV here in Jan 2020. After visiting other VW dealerships, I was beginning to lose interest in the brand... UNTIL my brother recommended that I try the White Plains dealership. Definitely a best in class dealer with super attentive (but not overly aggressive and cheesy) service. You dont feel like youre being attacked by predatory car salesmen or given their latest canned sales pitch .... I ended up with a really amazing Atlas R and credit their sales team for making the process a great one.Special credit to:Anthony Dixon, the VW Sales Specialist. They dont have what youre looking for, they dont even have the connections to get what you want (if they dont have it in their showroom,) and theyre not as knowledgeable as White Plains Lash Volkswagen!I checked all those other places and I ended up going back to Lash where I originally got my 2016 beetle! I should have just went to Lash from the beginning and saved myself a lot of time and aggravation!(My 2016 was wrecked the day before my daughters wedding!😢😭 & I absolutely loved that car!)BUT, on a happy note: Just picked up my 2018 Beetle w/the Premium pkg. (18 wheels, 8 Fender speakers, 2.0, upgraded headlights, panoramic sunroof, parking assist, & etc. There was NO WAY I wasnt getting a VW Beetle!My Sales Consultant was Erik Medina. I told him exactly what I wanted he asked me the two colors I am interested in, and within 10 minutes he found my car! Not only did he find the car that I wanted, it just so happened it was already loaded with the premium package! Since Volkswagen will not be making any Beetles after 2019, the Beetle seems to be a hot commodity and theyre selling up fast! Those other dealers did not have one 2018 left and they were trying to push off on me a 2017 Beetle that was in the showroom or pushing a 2019 convertible when I didnt even want a convertible and the 2019s didnt even arrived yet! I told those other salespeople this and here they are trying to push a car on me that wasnt going to be arriving until February and they couldnt promise me my car because they werent allocated that many Beetles. I told them I did not want a 2019 - I cant wait that long. Then theyre trying to push a Jetta or Passat on me and I dont even like those cars! Im a hardcore fan of the Bug and I wanted something that eventually Id be passing on down to my family. I was looking at this as an investment. I wanted the TOP of the line 2018 Beetle, and none of the dealers, except for White Plains, had what I was looking for ( They had the connections to find what I was looking for!)Within a week my car arrived and Erik went over everything in my new car! One of the most worst dealership I’ve ever been to. Very unprofessional. Once I walked in two managers were arguing and cursing very loud. I was interested in buying a car right there in then and they couldn’t even find the key to the vehicle. They said the Porter took it home and couldn’t find it. I was in there for more than 30 minutes and all I heard was yelling and screaming.

Excellent service despite the pandemic conditions. Hector and Eric took very good care of us, it was a straightforward process to buy, took very little of our time on site, and delivered a great looking car, ready to go. Turnaround time was very quick even though the car we bought had only recently arrived off the ship and they worked to get our paperwork processed and the car in our hands in a matter of days. Very pleasant to work with and we were pleased with the results!

Lucky Waite and White Plains VW are the best. I went in hoping to trade down to lower my lease. Lucky completely understood my goals, gave me an honest (and smart) opinion on what I had thought was my best choice, and then gave me an option I hadn’t even thought of. So I recently purchased a used car from this dealership, so I went on a test drive with the car and I noticed the brakes were kinda messed up and I mentioned it to the sales manager Sean and he told me and my father to give him a call during the week so he could schedule us for the brake repair. Today my fathers calls in for the brakes and Sean started making excuses now saying that oh now the brakes should be good and we can’t do much about it. I decided to come in to get some quotes for a lease. Vw has a current special of 0 down, 0 apr and no first month or security deposit. I was quoted 3000 down, 620 per month in addition to taxes and fees for a 12k mile lease. I went to pleasantville for the same car with the same specs and was quoted 0 down (aside from taxes and fees) and 469 a month.I guess they saw a 30 year old woman come in and thought they could get away with this nonsense. Stay away from these crooks 😊

I am physically sick from my experience at White Plains VW under Tony, general manager. I spoke with him at 11:30 am. He told me I had to be there by 3:30 pm that day to pay $3100 down and $269/month to lease a 2021 Tiguan S. I asked for another day and he declined. Obviously he didnt want me to think about it or have time to do a test drive. He was in a hurry to get the deal done improperly for no legitimate reason. The car I was going to lease was not available for a test drive when I arrived as it was at a different location. I was told to take a seat in front of a silent TV and when he got off the phone I was ushered to a new sales consultant to start the paperwork and then to a financial person to sign the contract, still having no opportunity to test drive the car. Only after the paperwork was all signed did I drive the car. Driving home I noticed how loud the engine is. It sounds like a truck when accelerating. My 2018 Tiguan didnt sound that loud even after 2 years and 10 months when the brakes started making noise. Normal for VWs is very quiet and smooth. I commented to my sales agent when I got back. I said I hoped it would get quiet. It didnt. I got an irregular one. I sat forward driving back from the dealer the whole time, having no chance to test the comfort of the seats. I simply assumed theyd be as comfortable for me as my 2018 Tiguan and I read of no changes to the seats and inquired of another VW and was told no changes were made. I was on the drive back trying to get the radio presets to work and was focused on the other controls as I didnt have the proper introduction to the car and there were changes. The sales agent I had didnt know the changes or the car. He worked there only 3 weeks. The car was parked for 9 days after returning from the dealer. No mileage added and then I tested it for a 20 minute ride on March 18. The seat back and seat are intolerable for my spinal condition. Both are softer and the angle between the seat and seat back is different. I spent the 20 minutes trying to adjust with my back stretcher and a seat cushion. There are few chairs I can sit in because of my spinal stenosis. I picked this model only because of the extra firm seat back and seat and lack of pain it causes. My particular purpose for selecting the car was negated. I called Tony to request an exchange. Then I offered to go to a higher trim and pay more. He, after improperly inducing contract under pressure and failing to do the normal routine of starting with a test drive, would like me to be crippled with this car. He refused to make any accommodation. Contract formation requires mutual consent. I never consented to the PARTICULAR VEHICLE. It is unconscionable how he does business, giving only a few hours, denying an opportunity to consider the deal. It is bad faith dealing. He lies, too. He said I could have test driven the car instead of sitting in front of the TV when I was sitting there only because the car was not there and he was on the phone and no sales consultant was yet assigned. I was working with the sales consultant the whole time who needed me there to give him information and work with my insurance company. Tony and his underling Tom are100% disingenuous and indifferent to the customer experience. Ive spoken to all area VW dealers and VW and they all say White Plains VW has to do something. Its for Tony to make good. They all condemn his pressured approach to making sales.The first step before any paperwork is done is a test drive. There are many VW dealers. Stay away from this BAD FAITH dealer whose approach is pressure and lies. I will be leaving the car at his dealership. He is as unscrupulous as they come in the car industry.

Perfect place to go if you are trying to get robbed. I was told I one payment originally for a new Jetta. Mind you I had already mentioned my credit was not the greatest and they even ran it.. Once I come in to talk to finance manager they told me I would be at $150 more a month then what I originally agreed to and that is the best they can do for me.That is insane. I left dissatisfied as they also told me if I wanted to buy out my lease. I would be paying a for another 72 months. That’s 9 years to pay off a Volkswagen. Crazy to even think about it. Would not go back. The saleswoman Yanilsha was a pleasure to work with and really nice, I only wish I was told straight up what my payments would be.

No masks; no customer service. I called White Plains VW to inquire about trading in my car, and what options were available during Covid-19. I did not schedule an appointment at that time, but received several phone calls, texts, and e-mails trying to get me to come in for a visit. Only after speaking with somebody and receiving detailed assurances of their Covid-19 precautions (that allegedly included masks, sanitizing, distancing, etc), I made an appointment, which was then confirmed by two e-mails and a phone call from the dealer. I arrived right on time to find a maskless man who said nobody would be able to help me for an hour. He put his mask up, and then promptly took it down to ignore me while taking a phone call. A second maskless man who was wandering around approached me asking if I needed help, and I walked out in disgust. I could not be more disappointed with the lack of masking, especially after the dealership spent a week courting me to come in spite of my concerns. And to make an appointment, confirm it three times, and then tell me Id have to wait an hour is ridiculous. Please know that a visit to White Plains VW is at your own risk, because they neither mask nor care.

Several months ago I decided to finance a lease from this dealership. their finance department ran my credit too many times without saying anything to me about this discrepancy never mentioning either how many times I was denied. I have to find out on my own months later this issue on my credit scores being reported(there was also fraud at the time this is happening I didn’t know about in my name)and yet they just kept running my credit till I didn’t get denied with no real explanation whatsoever to what happened or that they had to run my credit so many times,I was a 730 before this experience my score went down over 80 points.they never thought to reach out and respond to any phone call or messages I left after finding all this out on my own because their front desk people (when they did pick up the phone)would refuse to put the one person I need to talk on the phone every single time I called(i called more then once lol)they handled it beyond poorly and essentially refused to respond to me about it,and I’m not going in this place ever again to just be dismissed by their staff again lol and I’m not buying something and they clearly don’t care if your not so they sit there and joke around all day acting like kids,it’s def a little guys club in there lol very unprofessional customer service probably the worst I’ve ever encountered since basically u have to walk in there and yell just to get their attention lmao (that’s what it feels like at least)which I’m not doing so yeah thanks Volkswagen of white plains it was an exceptionally bad experience for a first time driver and someone who learned the hard way,don’t go here. Visited a month ago to look at a car they had no title for yet that I was very interested in. Gave them my info and was told id be let know when they obtained the title. Called the last 3 weeks asking if they had it yet, and reminding them to please call me as im interested and i need it asap. Called today and its sold. Bad business in my opinion. Time wasted

I had a wonderful experience purchasing my new 2020 VW Passat R line, Just gorgeous. The sales person who helped us was Lucky and he was terrific. He was on top of everything from start to finish, and he was very kind & honest. We also received some assistance from Eric in closing the deal and it went as smooth as ever. I got locked out my car and was going crazy called the service department and Norma helped me she was friendly and nice when I was going crazy she kept me calm. Thank you she deserves a raise

The workers at this dealer are completely inept and clueless as to what theyre doing. I called to view a car and they called to confirm the availability but once I got to the dealer later on in the day, they said the car was sold. I drove out an hour to see the car that was no longer even in the dealer. This place is a disaster and I highly recommend you call yourself before going to double check and confirm since the workers here are unable to properly inform the customer about availability. I am never coming back here again.

Worst dealership experience I have EVER had. Please don’t waste your time here. Extremely unprofessional. They made me Zelle my deposit and the recipient came up as TONY. I have tried contacting them to get a refund and they have not responded. I will be contacting Volkswagen to see if they allow money sent to personal accounts.

The manager, Eric Goldstein, made it very easy to buy a car during this pandemic. I felt very safe inside the dealership. Appropriate social distancing was in place ... Most importantly, I got a great price !

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I went to look at a car on the website, 1st time it was sold 2nd time the price was increased by $4,000 after I had already made an offer on the car. VERY VERY SKETCHY PRACTICES.

Kenny over there is a good guy, so is the courtesy vehicle driver. Feel like the pricing is very high. $42 to replace a brake light bulb. 2 bulbs cost $8 on eBay. Open the truck, pop the light out, remove old bulb, but new bulb in. That’s it. Shouldn’t cost $42.

Shawn Mirch is a wonderful and kind manager!!!! Got us a great deal on a 2020 Golf and was really kind and helpful. Hes doing a great job. Also Wendy is a wonderful up and coming salesperson and you are lucky to have her, she did a great job as well :)The only issue was at the very end, our negotiated price for the Golf was hiked up a bit, and I found that to be rather cold blooded of the dealership. It was something about insurance, but it was never mentioned as a problem until the 7th hour of the day I spent waiting, so it was unfortunate.However, the rest of the experience was great and keep up the good work! Just try and be more transparent that a situation can come up at the end.

Outstanding service. Upon arrival the staff is always smiling, willing to help and customer centric. In a day where many people are in a rush and self-consumed, it’s refreshing to come to a place where the staff is respectful, considerate and responsive. Waste of time. Took sales person 25 minutes to find the keys to one of the cars which he clearly was not knowledgeable about. Also not sure how you can show a car that has a completely flat tire with a nail in it lol... Buy online or go to Volkswagen Manahawkin instead.

I have to say that I was very impressed by the way John Batista my sales person and I believe Pete the manager took care of me and my family. I went with my mind set to just return my lease car, but after talking with John he got me leaving with a beautiful car. My wife and kids are extremely happy with our new car. The service department at White Plains Volkswagen continues to provide me with exemplary service. Most recently, I had an issue with my water pump which was time sensitive as I have a high-pressure job that requires availability of my car. Jason managed the process seamlessly, made sure that I was informed throughout the process, and as has been my experience in the past the repair was done with no issues and on time. I cannot say enough about the customer care provided by the service department at White Plains Volkswagen!

Very good COVID 19 protocols... demo drive by appt.. Sales team cleaned car 🚗 before we drove it. Friendly team, reasonable negotiation on the vehicle purchase. Efficient internal admin and drove car home same day. Would shop for a VW there again.

We recently leased a car through White Plains VW dealership and had a great experience. We had talked to a few other dealers but none of them compared. Tony and Lino were extremely helpful and treated us with the utmost respect. They made a process, that can often times be overwhelming, as seamless as possible by providing us with relevant options and diligently answering all of our questions and/or concerns.

Wendy was very knowledgeable and helpful to us in our search for the right car. The service department is very responsive and helpful as well

I was there on Wednesday and dealt with Paul who was great. He got my car checked out right way and replaced the fault battery I had. The next day I picked up the car and Paul got me in and out. 2 days later I had to come back to get another issued fixed that was related to the first issue and Phil took care of me he got my car checked out. After realizing it wasn’t going to be a quick fix he asked me if I wanted to rescheduled and told me the possible problems I rescheduled and Paul even made sure if I needed a ride back home for that day.

Bought a new Tiguan and asked for no front plate bracket. Bracket was installed anyways. After waiting over two hours for the dealer to find a finance guy for me, I left and as I entered the highway I realized I was given an empty tank of fuel. Also when I got home I looked around and found that I didn’t have a rear cargo shade. Looks like someone took it before I got the car? Over all a poor service and delivery.

Bait and switch. Verify that the car you are interested in is in inventory before you go.I will go elsewhere next time wasted a Saturday morning.

I was very happy that Wendy and her boss helped me to find a deal to lease the Golf. I will recommend White plains VW to a friend.

I have purchased or leased my last 3 cars at White Plains VW, which spans approximately 10 years.This last time has been the worst experience I have ever had.To summarize:1. I was offered by one of the workers 20 dollars to go to PEPCO to get my license plate installed, because “it is a brand new bumper and it will mess it up”.2. The salesperson is new and looks lost. We are waiting for paperwork and he has his head down on his cell phone. I asked him a question about an accessory and he had no clue as to what I was referring to.3. License plate finally installed, but a screwdriver is on top of my new hood while the sales guy is installing. Hand prints all over the bumper.4. My key was not programed and was asked to come at a particular time. I left work early, had my wife meet me and when I get there no one was able to help me. Two hours of waiting, I left with nothing done.5. There were scratches on my car and they said they would fix it at the same time as they are programing my key, the paint specialist never showed up.The sales manager is taking care of it and seems like a person who cares, but the company needs to get their act together. As I stated at the beginning of this review, I have purchased or leased my last 3 cars, and that statement will now be permanent as I will never do business with White Plains VW again.By the way, I am still waiting for a call back from one of the guys as he promised he “would call me right back” in the sales manager’s absence.Very disappointed in a company who I have given my business to for the last 10 years.
