We bought our daughter‘s Mitsubishi Eclipse in for repair on her clutch and front tire replacement. The appointment was set for 8 a.m. We arrived at 7:45 a.m. The owners & technician was on hand and ready to work. The owners Rob and Alaina genuineness & patience in answering our concerns put us at ease. They had the car ready as promised after we informed them that our daughter will be leaving the next morning. After we picked up the car my daughter heard a sound and she was concerned. We called back to the shop. They had us come back in immediately. When we arrived the technician was waiting for us in the lobby. A feller by the name of Hunter was very engaging and did an excellent job getting my tire pressure just right, and Nick (sp?) was both very clear and informative up front, then did an amazing job finding out what was wrong with my car (it wasnt accelerating properly), got the part I needed that day, and I was back on the road later in the evening!Best shop in Whitehall by FAR, if not in all of Central Ohio!

Had a pressing (LOUD) brake/rotor issue. They were able to see me on short notice, diagnosed the problem and completed the fix within a couple hours. The entire team was professional and courteous, communication was great and the work was well done and in an efficient manner. Not your everyday mechanic experience.

Brought my car here for a wheel bearing and front break pads. Everything was good when I left and then 10 minutes down the road I start to hear a loud screeching noise from the front.. I took it back and had them fix it. I left again and once again as soon as I’m almost home it starts making that noise. I took it back again and they blamed me for it and would not give me a refund. Do not do business here!!!

I prefer to make appointments drop my vehicle off the night before and pick it up when its done. Busy work and home schedules, I dont like waiting. I had my PT Cruiser towed into the shop for repairs three weeks later I had the same problem and another 75 dollar tow back to Tuffy. I just knew from dealing with other shops it wouldnt be the same problem and there would be another huge cost to me..... To my amazement they were very honest and said the part was defected they had my car back to me the very next day at NO CHARGE (other than the 75.00 tow) I will always go back to Tuffy on Main street with car issues and I will recommend them to friends and family or anyone who is looking for a good honest mechanic..... Please,, please!!! ....BUYER BEWARE!!!!This so called repair shop is nothing more then a bunch of hack mechanics..Rob and Elaina are probably the most dispicable human beings I have had the displeasure of meeting..My Kia Sorento motor was destroyed at their hands. The motor imploded within only 300 miles after they had worked on the car.I tried to speak about the motor issue and was threatened to be thrown out of their lobby..Elaina knew exactly why I was confronting her about my car..Her defensive approach to my being there was obvious of guilt.. It was written all over her face and eyes!!DO NOT HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED AT THIS LOCATION!!!Because I havent the extra money to put into a new motor,, I have sold the car to salvage for $400.00.. I am one who hasnt gone to mechanic shops because I feel like theyll all find stuff that isnt even wrong with your vehicle, just to generate more income (a la Firestone). That said, I thought my car was dead to rights and it was because of their free diagnostics and good ratings that I ended up having my car towed there.. After some costly work (but worth it) I had a pivotal point thatd determine whether Id give them 5 stars or consider them a Firestone too. My drivers side ball joint that was squeaking when I came in, although other parts were fixed correctly, was squeaking after the car was said to have been repaired. I brought it right back, thoroughly explained my frustrations/concerns, and was told the problem will be fixed. Lets just say when I got my car back, they chose integrity over trying to make an extra buck. They have my respect and its only right that I share it. Therefore, any future person skeptical about what mechanic shop to go to (especially for major game-changing work on their vehicle), sees on this post that they were thorough in their work and they did it with integrity.

Last month I got a tire rotation done here. I had to take my car to Firestone because apparently Tuffy did not tighten one of my wheels properly. It was missing a lug nut and was close to falling off. Firestone said the remaining lug nuts appeared to have been finger tightened. I went to Tuffy and spoke to a manager who said he takes this very seriously, but then started spouting excuses about how if the tire wasnt tightened properly it would have fallen off already, even though no one touched the car but them. I would not bring your vehicle here if they cant even do a tire rotation without putting someones life at risk.

I went to Tuffys for years and never had a problem until recently. I took my SUV in because it was shaking, and despite being told it was fixed it continued to shake and I had to bring it back every Saturday for 3 weeks, paid over $1000, and waited for hours with two toddlers and NOT ONE PERSON APOLOGIZED including Rob. Just to be told I warped my brakes by stepping on them too hard even though I just paid them to fix my front and back brakes and I didnt drive my car at all between then fixing it and it shaking again. After the 3rd time my car didnt shake but my brakes squeaked so of course I called and was told fresh brakes can just do that sometimes. So before going on a long trip for work I took my car to the dealer for a second opinion just because I wanted to make sure, turns out the wrong size rotors were put on. Of course I brought this to Tuffys attention and they denied it being possible, ONLY after taking pictures, getting a statement from the dealers mechanic and practically having to scream did they finally fix it. And even though I saw Rob again at my last encounter still not one person said sorry, if anything they had an attitude with me. I was shocked and appalled at their lack of costumer service, especially after being such a loyal customer for about ten years.

Rob has been servicing my familys cars for years now and we would never think of any other auto shop to go to. Recently, my car needed a major tune-up out-of-town at college so I had to take it to a local shop. I called Rob about it and he spoke to the shop and saved me hundreds of dollars. One of the few honest, hard-working mechanics out there who cares about retaining business by treating his customers with the utmost respect.

I will never take anything else back to this shop ....I went in to get my oil & heat fixed within two hours from driving off the lot my antifreeze started smoking an and leaking from underneath the car...my car was doin better before I took it in Im really upset 😡 now we wasted $400. Still till this day the car still has issues on a problem they caused and my heat still isnt fixed ....🚫🚫🚫The first video is Two hours after getting the car fixed for oil leakAfter we took it back to get fixed for a issue they caused with the antifreeze situationWe took it back to get fixed and we are still having the same issue which is in the second video from yesterday

Our EquiNoxs front wheel bearings (BOTH sides!) self-destructed on a trip to our daughters college. Rob & Alaina were able to get us in pronto and had the Nox fixed up in less than 24 hours!!!
