I am a new customer to Rent a center and ignored reviews and decided to give them a try. I signed up in March 2019, with Store Manager Javier, who was very pleasant and helped us through the process. We have no problems with Javier, in fact, called him 2 weeks ago inquiring about another item that we were considering. During the initial sign up, I scheduled an auto withdraw from my bank to have the payment deducted every month. April payment was paid with no problems and now we are in May. My husband receives a call from acting manager Adriana who refused to give her last name. Adriana called my husband asking for payment for May, my husband explained we have auto payment and she then threatened and stated our item is scheduled to be picked up. My husband shared with me what the conversation was about and I immediately called the location #876 Santa Fe Springs office and asked to speak to Javier, store manager (the person who initially assisted us) who is on vacation, I then asked to speak to the acting manager and Adriana answered, I explained who I was and expressed that we are new to Rent a center and that my husband received a disturbing phone call from a female, in her office stating that we did not make May payment and that we are scheduled to have item picked up. I explained to Adriana that payment was deducted from my bank account. Adriana went on and on about how first initial deposit does not count as a payment. I told her we have made April payment and May. Adriana did not listen to what I told her about us signing up in March 2019. Adriana went on and on about how we are new customers and that deposits dont count as a payment and I expressed to her that I was aware and that once again we have already made a payment in April and now May. Adriana continues to want to talk over me as I am explaining to her, she asked me if I could let her talk and I told her no, I am not done. She went on and on over my voice and said I was rude and hung up on me. I called Rent a center back and she answered, I asked her for her last name and she refused. She said she will give me information to Javier and if he calls me, he calls me if not I can call him. This girl needs to be fired or be taking back to training. No one deserves to be treated badly or belittle. She needs a new job! DO NOT USE ADRIANA!!

Great rent a center, clean.. Workers are very helpful and do your paperwork and verification fast . if they dont have what u want onsite then they will go pick it up from another one .

Only if youre desperate and theres no way you can get the stuff you need somewhere else should you come here the prices and credit APR Czar over the top

Very bad they give you one thing and then they come out with something else and they fear coupons and they always say that they have already sold out
