Whittier Home Depot has knowledgeable employees who show interest in what your asking for. Unlike other Home Depot’s, this store was fully staffed. Natalie at the pro desk was helpful in assisting with a new credit application. Steve and Lupe both district managers happened to also be there the day I went it and not only knew exactly what item I was looking for, had my item brought down in a timely manner. Fast and friendly service here!! And a very clean and neat store.

I experienced terrible service from 3/5 employees that I interacted with. On the floor in the appliances area, I was met with dismissiveness except for one lady who at least tried to send me in the right direction - everybody else seemed like they couldn’t be bothered.I was just about ready to go elsewhere, but thankfully I was helped by a young man named Brandon who was patient and knowledgeable, and I went home with the right materials.

The staff here are knowledgeable and helpful and pleasant! Thankful for a Glenn! And a Frank! In plumbing. I had no idea what I was doing and they were patient and really helped me out! I wish I would have asked the ladies that helped me all their name but one was an assistant manager! So helpful all of them going above and beyond the call! Thanks so much!

Worst location ever. Spent 45 minutes walking around in circles because the staff is incompetent. Couldn’t find wire for the life of me. Condescending staff that just stands around in a group watching tik tok on their phones while you’re wasting time. They probably don’t care about the reviews but I had to write something.

Need more experienced people who have the knowledge in particular areas. We as consumers go in with questions and need someone who knows what they are talking about. We did have a good experience with the garden staff. Woman was very helpful and went out of her way.

Went to Home Depot looking for black lights for Halloween decorations. No employee sent me on the right spot. I spent 30 minutes trying to find t on my own. Only available was a single light bulb. I was very disappointed.

Our go to for all our home projects. Usually has everything we need. Sometimes I have to order a special product but it ships fast plus its easy and cheap.

Why do they have shade reserved for cart corals? Id give them more stars if they made valuable shaded areas available for parking.

Hey its Home Depot, not my favorite one either. The best I can describe it is like a Christmas tree. You enter the main truck of the tree and the aisles come off like branches at either side. When they opened the store it was touted as the most efficient floor layout ever. I would like to offer another opinion, its very confusing. There tool section seems to be very lacking. Lumber, they had plenty of it, but at sky high prices.

Rude store manager Daniel! This manager can care less what your problem is. My order was supposed to be ready last Friday but I got a notification saying it wouldn’t be ready till Monday which was fine. Then Monday comes and they say not till Tuesday which is fine Tuesday comes still not ready. My account now says that the order is at the Whittier location as of 6/7 today is now 6/9 order still not ready. I understand things happen but this store has poor communication! And apparently ANYONE can be a store manager. I called in to guest services to see what was going on and my husband decided to take a trip to the store since our tracking number shows it was delivered to the Whittier store. I understand how shipping works I’m I work in the freight department as well and my husband does as well. When the agent from customer service advised me to speak to a manager because she knew this was not right I spoke to Daniel the store manager who didn’t want to hear my situation all she said was “yes, your husband was here earlier I already know what your calling for.” So rude and she completely disregarded me. The least she could have done was been understanding of the situation instead she kept blaming it on customer service that if I wanted discounts or anything they need to help me. My problem wasn’t a discount, I just want to know when my fridge would arrive so I can plan the pick up accordingly. But again anyone can be a manager it doesn’t take much customer service skills to get this job. All she kept telling me was she can’t help me and MAYBE my order is Will be ready tomorrow.” When it has already been scanned into the Whittier Home Depot. I will be closing my card out soon and go back to Lowe’s.

I have to admit, I do not come here unless I have searched online and order it for express pick up. Doing this has saved me time and money by not having to search for stuff and/or getting distracted and buy other things. I would say they have what I need about 87.3% of the time. Never had a problem picking up anything, just wait for the email confirming it is.

The attitude after covid19, change 100 %, they are very helpful, bathrooms are very clean. Now I enjoy to buying at Homedepot.

Worst customer service EVER, little to NO effort made by sloppy, poorly trained employees. Youd thing they were working for free!!! Whats worst,corporate makes no effect to improve customer service. Customers get lost spending their precious time trying to navigate endless menu options. Efforts to get a live person are near to impossible. When and IF you succeed, good luck in trying to make them understand what you want. Even if you explain things in the most BASIC way, they still get it wrong. Shame on Home Depot for being in business.!!!!

This Home depot was the best! I had to replace about 10 roller shades and this was the fourth Home Depot that actually had the roller shades, had the roller shade machine working and wonderful LuAnn, who cut my shades. It was bustling with people and help was readily available!!

Home Depot!!! Has been one of my favorite stores for years. Stuff is easy to find n if youre in a hurry you can always find a worker thatll tell you where things are at. N if youre like me n like to do your own projects the staff there is knowledgeable n ready to give advice n suggestions or they find another staff member for you that knows. Ive lost count of how many different Home Depots n how many different staff has had my back!!!

Great place to lose calories...Big selection...Plenty of space, and bring the credit card...

The home depot has tons of tools. Tons of wood. Tons of pipes. Tons of cleaning supplies. They have a ton of materials that you need to build all kinds of structures and help you with many projects. They have a bunch of plants too. Big ones and small ones. There are people who can help direct you to things you need and there are people to help you pay for your items if you dont want to do it yourself. Prices are comparable to other home improvement stores, but if you really want to know you can check their website before you go. Highly recommend to anyone looking to do anything constructive or requiring tools.

I love The Home Depot, while the layout from each and every might be different it is usually easy to find what you need. Employees might not be able to answer all your questions especially if you ask a flooring associate a plumbing related question, but they can find you an employee from the right department that is better able to answer your questions

This home Depot is very nice clean and organized Ive been shopping there for over 20 years and everything has got much better the displays have very much improved the restocking overnight is really great and the customer service seems to be very knowledgeable and all fields and helpful to get you what you want or need and very helpful and locating it at another store if need be.

I went there to pick-up a few things for a small paint project. What blew me away is that they had no buckets or pails not a one . No even those large HD BUCKETS. Did they divert them to help with the Midwest flooding ?

Very disappointed with the service. My husband and I went there to purchase a washer and dryer and the sales associate there girl was talking and training I guess another employee there she never asked how we were she never asked if she could help us we stood there for 15 minutes in front of the washer dryer that we wanted and still she was looked at us and just walked away explaining to girl how to do the washing machines and dryers went over to the computer after 15 minutes I was so upset that I left and I went and purchased a washer and dryer at Lowes.

Hardware stores during the pandemic seem extra busy. This particular Home Depot was not too busy and the parking was plentiful. I needed an associate at one point and found one quickly who seemed eager to help. I would suggest shoping online before going because the store stocks a limited selection of some items that can be ordered and delivered to the store. Ive done this several times with good results.

Got some shower knobs and barbecue accessories found what I was looking for.

Great store. Very clean and organized. Wish more employees actually knew about home improvement when you asked for help. Many employees have no idea what you are talking about when you ask a question.

I like the layout of this store however with the 6ft social distancing and impatient people cutting lines or act like they do not hear you telling them they need to go back and wait like everyone else. My biggest complaint lately is that I have been trying to get brass fittings they normally have but are either depleted or mispackaged. I guess another store tomorrow and hope for best.

Home Depot’s that don’t have a line for Pros specifically should be fined!!! They are causing delays for Contractors trying to work during this time.

Taking precautions, like everyone is. There was a line to enter, masks required to shop, however, there were people inside without masks, and that was upsetting. The workers must wear their masks their entire shifts and if you are removing your mask after entry, shame on you. We need to protect others and abide by the guidelines until the orders in place are lifted. Thank you to all the great people continuing to work in these times, you are appreciated 🙂

We went to buy an extention cord for a newly purchased freezer which we bought at Home Depot. The electrical department sales tech was very helpful. He took the time to explain safety measures with us. He provided excellent customer service. We highly recommend this Home Depot to all. Very clean and friendly staff.

Stephanie in paint was exceptional! Patient and understanding. She was left alone by other coworkers at closing and she kept helping all those who approached her. Very impressed with her customer service abilities. Sadly very few young people show her care and concern for customers! Hubby and I completely satisfied with her care!

It’s Home Depot. Get what u need and more. Hard to find service for cutting wood. Had to call the store and ask if they where busy, they said not at the moment. Told them I been waiting for 25mins for someone to cut some 2x4’s, waited another 5 mins before someone showed up. Asked 3 employees for help and all said they called someone.

I i hurt my leg last week bumped my schin and I started bleeding an associate whent to get me some band aids thank you I blead pretty good another associate helped me to purchase my items helped to load them to my truck.What I dont understand why their was no report done in case something else happened they need to learn safety protocol.

Ill say, they have a lot of things Id like to buy, big selection. And curb side pickup is a big plus. But my biggest problem with HD is that most (95% of them) dont have a clue about the products they sell. And a small few of them are lazy and have that I dont know, I just work here attitude. But then there are those small few who stick out and shine. They get the job done and dont complain about doing it. These small few can be extremely helpful if you get lucky enough to come in contact with them. But there are not enough if them for me to enjoy going to HD. Frankly, if there was a Lowes close by, I would go there...just for the better service.Home Depot, if you happen to be reading this, your prices may get people in the door, but good customer service keeps them coming back. And right now, your Whittier store on Washington is blowing it.

The place is clean and employees are friendly, but not always well-trained. I was very disappointed with the number of people not wearing face coverings. The older lady standing next to me kept pulling hers down to talk on the phone. A guy walked in without one at all and was trying to use his jacket lapel as a face mask, total fail. Another lady used a bandana that kept falling down. This all happened at the paint department and employees did / said nothing.

I like how they have so many workers to help you but at times it’s also kinda hard to get some help when you do really need it but still very good place to shop!

Easy to locate the products that I needed and well stocked. The front end staff are very friendly and eager to help. The only reason why i gave a four star is that the department staff in the heart of the store were not so eager and distant or would not make eye contact. Which made me feel that interrupting or inquiring about something would inconvenience them.

Super clean. Mostly everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. I had a few problems at the customer service department. I wait in line for a good 30 to 40 minutes just to pickup something I purchased online. It was paid for and everything, when I finally get my turn, they answer a phone call and take care of that person before they help me. I know whenever I call I always get put on hold because theyre with a customer. I was in a real hurry that day. I apologized and explained that I was in a hurry and she just ignored me and continued to help the person on the phone. She did not apologize for it and she helped me with severe attitude. I didnt get a have a nice day afterwards either. I completely felt ignored, and dismissed. However, for the most part everyone here is always pretty much all about customer service, with the exception of the customer service woman, pretty ironic lol.
