I went to Michaels a few days ago and while wondering around the store I saw these cute picture frames that happened to be on sale.(Well, I thought by the sign being literally on top of the label to the item I was looking at that it included that item.) So I grabbed two since it was a bogo sale. After I got to my car I see that I was charged full price. So I go back inside and was told by a cashier that they werent on the sale but they would honor that price because of the placement of their sale tag. Then she called the manager over for assistance in the return because she was unsure how to do it properly. The manager then told me he would not honor it and just walked away with no sorry or anything. Then to top it off the register was short on change so I told them to keep the 3 cents and left. So in the end it cost me $.03 to go in and let them know that their sign was in the wrong spot. Wasnt very happy at all to say the least!

Pretty picked over and seriously sad lack of Halloween decor this year. Very disappointing. Already had Christmas stuff in the beginning of August and just a few sparce Halloween items scattered. Employees were very nice tho.

Love this store! Amazing prices on just about anything you can think of. They always have the cutest decorations for holidays! Also the stationary any kind you could imagine they probably have it!! The associates here are so helpful. i couldnt find a specific type of paper i needed, and an associate offered to help me before i even had a chance to ask. the cashier was also very sweet!

Its generally never crowded, which is good. Wasnt terribly pleased with the selection of scrapbook albums. Their website has items they dont carry in store. It was hard to find anyone who knew which pens/markers were best for scrapbooking. The staff is really friendly though, which is hard to find these days. The store is always clean, organized and well lit. I just wish their prices were better.

The young cashier was the BEST, I was in line and two kids were buying candy. They were short $1.00. He happily reached in his pockets and COVERED their bill. BEST ACT OF KINDNESS IVE SEEN IN AWHILE.

Went in to pick up an online order. Waited 15 minutes for someone to even show up and then was told I had to wait a few minutes. The store wasnt even busy so idk where staff was. There was someone else already waiting when I got there and they said they had been there awhile to already. Also when I called from the parking lot online pick up spaces I got hung up on twice before I went in. They would answer and Id hear noises and then they would just hang up without saying anything...

My wife says this place is great?? Happy wife, happy life...

Store is a mess. There’s like one employee holding down the whole store. And they’re out of stock on virtually everything. Just drive 30 extra minutes to go to the east side and save yourself the headache.

Very friendly staff.Easy to find items.Signage on the aisles could be a bit bigger but still easy to gauge where you need to find items.Spacious so easy to distance yourself from others if needed.

I love coming here for literally any craft related project I want to do! If they dont have what you are needing in stock in the store, they will help you get what you need online. I also love how there is always a coupon available to use if you look online to cut the cost down. My only complaint is that Michaels isnt closer to my house!

Michaels has everything that youre aspiring artists, hobbyists, invisionary, doodler or dang-o-dan could want or need. If not... Fake it to make it theyll have something for that too

I was only here because I was out and about with my wife. Store was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. The disappointment comes in the fact that they were out of a lot of stuff. I stopped and looked at the model cars and planes and saw they were out of most of there model paints. Same with modeling clay that we were there for. Probably a quarter of the colors were out of stock.

My girls(daughters) and I go at least once a month to the Maize Michaels for the arts and crafts projects on Saturdays. Esmeralda(not sure I spelled that correctly) is wonderful. She has been doing them as long as I have been taking my kiddos so over a year. She is very friendly and helpful. There are deals on the app and even a list of events.

I needed a certain size box for a craft project and was having a hard time looking online, so I went to the local Michaels. Not only did I find the perfect totes, but for a LOT cheaper! Well stocked store, lots of variety. Always love shopping at Michaels 😁

I had them do a custom frame job on some canvas paintings. They turned out beautiful and were done in a timely manner.

The selection at this Micheals is very limited. I was so excited to go to Michaels as we do not have one in our small city. Only to get there and they did not have one thing I was looking for. Previously I purchased markers from this store and they were expensive markers. They were dry when I went to use them. The company who made the markers sent me replacements.

Ddcided i wanted to make homemade ornaments for the tree and a friend gave me a coupon. Im usually a hobby lobby shopper so i figured I would check it out. Had some great deals going on 40-60% off Christmas items. I just wosh they had more of a color assortment of ornaments but it could have been because of how late in the season I went. There is this small issues they have these everyday deals i guess that dont count with discounts but it didnt say that on my coupon. All in all though you can use multiple coupons i downloaded the app while waiting in line, for 10 minutes because they only had 1 cashier, but I ended up with another 20% my purchase with the app and only spent $35 on a lot of stuff so all in all it was a good experience

Im satisfied that Hobby Lobby has newer fashion antiques. Michaels is really similar with updated versions towards shaping the next New Market of building.

She took me to where they were at and showed me all the products that I was looking for. After I found what I was looking for. I check out and she was up at the cashiers desk and she rang up. Great seasonal decor

The shortages of yarn were disappointing. But got most of what I needed. Hopefully restocking happens soon. I seems to use a lot. Thank you for being my store of smiles.

I didntdislke it, I was excited to finally go to a Michaels, ut there was barely a store, and very dull... No excitement, etc..perhaps its the whole COVID VIRUS..usually his time of year people are buzzing around and readying for the Holidays, but the store seemed under the weather. No music, No Goblins to speak of. Very little Thanksgiving and Christmas and even with the sale price on silk flowers and wreaths, seemed a bit high. The staff were very friendly and will return soon. Perhaps a different vibe.(could have been just me, sorry)

The location of this store is the main problem. Too far out east though the same can be said about the west location. There is no good art supply store for folks living near downtown or in South wichita.

Terrible service. If you live on the west side, do yourself a favor and drive to the one on Greenwich. Manager was very rude and unprofessional, the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I will never step foot in here again and recommend you do the same.

I went shopping for something to put on my mamas grave for Christmas. Im traveling from out of town, so waited until I was here to buy it. Lucky me. Everything was 70% off! I put together a beautiful arrangement for about $55.00 that would have been way over double that. I love shopping at Michaels for seasonal items as well as everyday things. I always find something I just have to have! Stores are clean and employees are helpful.

Since I was unable to access specifics from ArtDeco craft paints Website I went to speak w/Michaels staff re: paint & a stencil Id purchased. ArtDeco claims the paint is suitable for use on glass but it failed to adhere. I also have been unable to get a clean image from their stencil; it blurs. The employee verified my proper use of the products but had no solution to my issue. She too was unable to access the ArtDeco Website . I left feeling ArtDeco ripped me off. Wont buy from that product line again. #disappointed

I freaking love this place. If you sign up for the coupons.. just tell your husband at least 10 percent of your yearly pay will be spent here. I always find something I need. (Especially when they have sales, which is always). Good luck walking out of there empty handed.

I prefer this store to Hobby Lobby as theyre a bit more reasonable on their prices. In fairness I dont care for Hobby Lobbys politics either. The staff & customers were friendly & helpful. Its well organized & clean offering a little of everything. I found some 40% off items that were a must for me. Ill be back next time I need an item they sell.

None of the employees would stop when I asked for help finding fabric. Had to wait by the hinge decore section while two employees held a conversation, one of which made prolonged direct eye contact with me and kept talking.TL:DR. Employees- not helpfulAnd they dont sell fabric.

This is a frequent stop. Everytime I have an idea or need to put a personal touch on something. This is my go to store. Its not a far drive and I can catch some stuff on sale often.

The store was clean and the employees polite. However when I asked for a few different items, the two employees that tried to help me didnt really know where anything was. I ended up finding it on my own. The prices are a bit high in my opinion and the selection limited compared to Hobby Lobby, but I guess you pay for convenience. I only shop here when I cant get down into town to Hobby Lobby as I find Hobby Lobby to be the superior store.

I love shopping at Michaels and I love the coupons that they have. It makes your shopping experience fun besides they always have great offers on almost everything in the store.

I went to buy some grade specific workbooks to keep my grandsons on track while the schools were closed and found a couple different ones. I also picked up some $1.00 craft projects to do. The store was very clean and the associate was friendly.

When I went to the New Market Square store 6/16, it was the first time I had been in the store for over a year. Since working there a few years ago, they had totally changed the layout of almost the entire store. This was a bit of a challenge at first, but a very nice young man helped me find what I came in to get. It was a great pleasure to be there!

Micheals is amazing. I go for most of my crafting needs. I also go to get Ideas and sometimes just to kill time. The staff is always willing to go above and beyond. They also have good discounts and coupons for that crafter on a budget!
