Such an amazing place to buy furniture. They really work with you and help you find what you need without being pushy. They have great financing options too. I’ve had great experiences with both Matt and Robert along with the manger, Abraham. Definitely recommend checking this place out.
My husband and I went ready to make a purchase and the whole time we were there, 20 minutes+, not one person asked if we needed help and theyre were staff just standing around, but just looked at us like we didnt belong in there and so we left. I wanted a set of paintings and Im hoping to find them elsewhere or something similar.
Our sales assistant, Austin, was EXCELLENT!! He was helpful, not pushy, and was able to answer all of our questions. Plus, this store has everything you could possibly want in a furniture store. I love this place and cant wait until all of my new furniture is delivered! A++++ buying experience.
Went to the store to look at furniture found one I liked. Decided to shop around and find the best price. Called back and asked if they would price match only because when we went to look they guy that initially helped was awesome. Guy that answers phone tells me he needs to ask the manager followed by then order it from the other company. He sounded annoyed and acted unprofessional just because I did my homework before purchasing.
The help was awesome, both the initial availability of assistance after I chose my purchase and the pick up thereafter. However, there are two different options for check out. Financing and cash or credit. There were no open check-outs for the ladder. I had to wait what seemed like forever to check out. Why offer the option if you dont staff it? The five stars are for the employees not the management.
Some of the sales people were kind enough to ask me if I needed any help. It wasnt a good experience seeing a bunch of employees(hanging out) on the floor. I walked past those few guys several times. They made me feel like they couldnt make a sale off me why bother. However, I had plenty enough to money to purchase things in there. After the first time walking by them and no acknowledgement I wouldnt buy a thing from them. Not even a good morning or let us know if we can help you with anything. Im in no hurry to purchase anything from the store. Its sad that a few guys talking about nothing related to furniture werent kind enough to say hello.
Went in looking for a mattress, they have a wide variety of furniture to choose from. Great customer service they walk with you and assist with anything you need in the store. They also have an option to look up items for you to have shipped to you

Just say no if you cant buy it immediately! A birthday gift was purchased in September and they received the payment in full. They assured the delivery would be delivered in 8 weeks at the most. Needless to say, it still hasnt arrived. Not once did they call to inform us of the delay in delivery. We have been obligated to track our item and search for answers. They have become experts at creating the same old excuses and have no compensation for the customers. The only reason this purchase was made was due to my recommendations and I gravely regret it! If it was a bank that had my money I would have at least made some interest on it. Please spend your time and money wisely and so sorry my beloved Shane for recommending this Din of thieves.UPDATE!!!!! NOTHING HAS CHANGED AND YOUR LYING IF YOU SAY ANY OF YOUR EMPLOYEES SAID ONLY A DEPOSIT WAS NECESSARY TO PLACE OUR ORDER. WE CONTINUE TO TRACK DOWN OUR PURCHASES WITH NO ASSISTANCE OR UPDATES FROM YOUR COMPANY. MAYBE YOU SHOULD FOCUS MORE ON CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND NOT ON GIVING EXCUSES FOR YOUR GRAVE NEGLECT!

Sometimes they are too pushy. They will try and upsell you because of their job. For as the used area you’re better off on Facebook marketplace.

I had a large order ….I ordered my items the end of June they said it should not take longer then 8 weeks for it to come in………I got half my stuff in the beginning of Aug. now I was just waiting on my kids bunk beds frames and the dressers to come in… I got a text stating it should be here in the mid September I got another text stating said it should be here in mid November at this point I’m over it……this is the only place I shop at for my home and this has never happened before……… I’m so disappointed right now
This has been the most worst experience I have had when purchasing big items. This whole thing has made to never want to buy furniture ever again. I had been treated with so much disrespect by associates. The store manager wasnt horrible. Finally got some of my furniture still missing a piece. What I received was not what I ordered. I got a completely different color than what I ordered. So upset and baffled by this experience. Its just awful.
The sales girl we had was awesome I thought I would have to go to a few stores before I found a sectional we both liked. This was are first and only nice selection and great prices !! Will be going back !!!

My family and I went to this location and we are happy to report!We made purchases for our bedroom, living room and for our toddlers room! We couldn’t be more happy with the product and quality, the customer care that we received from Tawney was friendly knowledgeable and efficient! The bathroom however is cramped. Otherwise..the overall experience was overwhelming(in a good way) the atmosphere is welcoming.
We came into Wichita Furniture on Consignment looking for some furniture and we got lucky to have our salesperson, Milah, help us out. She made shopping for furniture a pleasant experience and understood our needs. I would recommend this store due to a good shopping experience and the sales people.

Guys inside the store are great..but they say same day delivery and its not available. Then when you pick a day for your stuff to be delivered they just give you a time instead of seeing if that time works for you. Kyle the supervisor was the worst he was not very helpful and said there is nothing he can do that i can reschedule my delivery..just awful

There is a great selection here. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because we were only there for about 45 minutes and we were asked 6 different times if we needed help, all from different employees. Each employee explained the same promotion that they had going on. It was just a little too much to keep saying that we were just looking. Other than that it seems like a good store and there are a lot of staff there ready to help. But since we are in the just looking stage for furniture I felt like we were being asked too many times if we needed help or if there was anything they needed to do. But we will be back.
The sales associate was very helpful and kind but they definitely dont allow you the space to just look around without following you and pushing items. I realize its their job to sell but I couldnt wait to get out of there. I couldnt even think for myself. Also, they were going to charge me a delivery fee of over $100 for one item, less than a 2 mile delivery destination.
Enjoyed the experience and great customer service provided to me by Sammy. Seems like everyone else ignored me, but Sammy welcomed me and assisted me and not my pockets. He didnt know if I had money or not, and still treated me like I was the health inspector. The only reason for my major purchase at Furniture on Consignment is due to Sammy and his humble attitude. We have bought from them in the past and had been satisfied, but this last time we purchased a recliner loveseat and full size couch about 6 months after having it the loveseat recliner broke my husband Emailed them only to not hear back, we purchased a extended warranty..so not only are left with a broken loveseat we are out the money for the warranty.

My experience with Furniture on consignment, before COVID was good. I ordered a bedroom set for my daughter and a dining room table. This was all ordered on 5-23-2020. I was told It will take at least 4-6 weeks for delivery. My daughter’s bedroom set came in on June 6th, exciting. My dining room table a little back ordered and was told sometime in August, not so exciting.I did receive dining room set on July 4th a lot earlier than I thought and even on the 4th. We wanted to assemble at home, a lot of hard work, but worth it in the end. This is a dining set with 6 chairs, as of right now we only have 5 and I’m thankful for that, but want the other chair. I called on July 6 to let them know one of the chairs is not assembling right, it’s just not aligning right to assemble☹️! I was advised another seat cushion would be ordered and it will be shipped to my home within 7-10 business days from UPS.I called back after about 2 1/2 weeks and was told due to the COVID I’m looking more at the beginning of August. I advised I will be out of town the first week of August, but I will just take my chance and hope it’s waiting on my porch. Returned home a week later, no cushion. I called them back to ask the ETA on my cushion and now I’m looking at September 18th, due to COVID and it’s going to take a little longer to ship🤦♂️I called back today 9-4-2020 for another update and still the same story and ETA is still September 18th and if I don’t receive on or before the date to call back. This is NOT what I wanted to hear at all. It’s just a cushion and I cannot get this to complete my dining room table, SMH. Well I will NEVER order from them again and I should have listened to my family and friends about this place, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt prove my family and friends wrong.I will just wait for my cushion and go elsewhere for furniture next time for sure. I’m due to buy furniture soon, but will NOT go here EVER AGAIN. Wish there was a scale for 0, that’s what they deserve. Hope no one else have to go through this.

We have been purchasing from this store for over 13 years. In July we placed a large order and understood the delay in receiving it due to Covid. Fortunately by Early September we had almost every single items for all 4 rooms we shopped for. Except my sons bedroom set was not complete and the bed was impossible to put together. Our sales person stopped responding to my multiple text and another gentleman tried to help. I sent pictures of the pieces to the bed and explained over and over it was impossible to put together. They ordered bed slates and metal frames. Neither worked. Finally they sent a couple guys in October to put it together and when they arrived they said they couldn’t put it together because the wrong part had been ordered. They called the store to order a footboard and said it’s delivered in a few weeks. I never got a call about this situation so I decided to call 5 weeks later, I thought I was being reasonable on giving them time. The person I spoke with said she couldn’t find anything in the system to show it had been ordered and said someone would call me back soon later that day. Never received a call. I will never shop here again. I feel as if once I placed my order and paid for my items. It was no longer their problem to complete their end of the deal. I understand Covid has backed everything up. This is not a Covid related issue and the store has dropped the ball since this order was placed by not ordering my bedroom set complete. I have text after text showing how many times this has been screwed up and no one can get it right. I still have an non functional bed 4 months later.
Be careful of sales associates stating that warranties are included with a purchase. A warranty is an additional cost associated and should be presented that way. Also, a store credit is not a refund. The lack of transparency today was unnecessary and disappointing.
Every time I walk into the store I feel important, they make sure I get taken care of even if I don’t even buy anything that day. I always try to go to Barry because he goes above and beyond my expectations when it comes to my actual vision of buying furniture. He makes it so easy to make a decision that makes me happy. I highly recommend furniture on consignment to all my friends!!!

This is the last time am ordering from here after more than 10 year,2 months is a painful long wait on delivery.Very frustrated .
My husband and I have purchased at least $10k in the past several years. Literally every room in our house has furniture from Furniture on Consignment, but after the phone conversation I just had with a manager I will never set foot in there again. We had a miscommunication regarding delivery, I was under the impression it was a week sooner. I called to see why it wasnt delivered today and I was told it was for next week. I told the gal that my husband had taken off work and she told me to wait a moment and shed get her manager because I asked if it could be delivered sooner. This is where te conversation plummeted. The manager gets on the phone and said It was always supposed to be the 17th. I dont know where you got the 10th. I said Okay, I was just under the impression when the girl scheduled and said this week she meant the Tuesday for the week we were about to have. Not the following. He replied that Again, I dont know where you got that but all I can do is cancel the delivery, take 50 bucks off, and you can rent a Uhaul I said It would take that much to rent the truck! And he said Nope. The Uhaul down the street is $20 bucks an hour. I educated him how he should speak to clients and just kept my delivery. Weve waited 3 MONTHS for this dining set and then to have a misunderstanding and be spoken to like that I am still in shock. Complete and utter disrespect for a customer, let alone a long term customer was completely uncalled. They couldnt care less youre spending your money with them.
Looking for furniture sets in a competitive price range, they had sets they could order in my price range but I was looking at 8 week lead time, only the expensive stuff on hand.Sales people were present but werent interested in selling something.Had to hunt them down to ask any questions and at some point they just kinda... disappeared.Bought my set elsewhere.
I would give a 5 star but we still haven’t received our purchase. They (13th street Wichita) said 2 weeks when we were purchasing the living room set but now when we call it’s the same script “We can’t guarantee when it’ll b here. “ So we’re canceling the order n going next door to American Freight. Similar prices and they have furniture actually in stock. We can have couches in the house today. Wish I would’ve went there first. My advice: look before u leap.
Everything was great except the pick up site was rude. They were rude and stuffed the mattress in the car very rushed and awkward nearly missing my granddaughter. They demanded my daughter and i to move the car seat over. Really didnt need to do so. The back seat could fold. My daughter had to pull over and fix it. Just saying they were very rude. They could have hurt the child in the backseat. Sale person was great!
Does not have furniture in stock. Will have to wait 6 to 8 weeks. I have came in twice and told the same thing. I am done with this place.

Couch showed up over a month late. No one even told me it would be coming later after taking off work for the delivery. Once couch got her it was in awful shape. Had to come fix it like another month later. Save time and money and go somewhere else.

Then assembled and made position adjustments to the specific instructions of my wife, the mastermind. They did the work with a good kindness. I appreciate you fellas!
Friendly staff and pretty good prices
This place is filled with scammers!! They show you one thing and tell you a low price then switch it for a cheap made in Vietnam knock off, that you never even seen in the store! They have low prices but you have to wait 2 months to get it. We placed an order it gets delivered and its not even what we ordered. We went into store and they said we owed more for the one we wanted. They didnt even try to make it right with us.. We took time out of our schedule for the delivery and now we have to waste more our time for them to come pick it up and be left with nothing.
Jesse was awesome. The general manager of the store got me some super good discounts. The items were already on sale and he still continued to discount. The service was excellent.

Dec.30,2019I went to the site on 13th street around 6pm to make a purchase some furniture. I was not acknowledged nor asked if I needed assistance. I was looked at and over looked by several salesmen. You should always acknowledge the presence of a customer any time they enter your store. I noticed customers that had come in after I did being assisted. I purposely placed myself in a chair where I could be seen. One guy walked past me twice and ask a couple to the right of me if they were doing okay. at 6:30 a saleslady who was assisting another customer asked me if i was finding everything okay. Meanwhile the other salesman were hanging around. This is poor poor customer service.Quality service should be above everything
First sales guy blew me off, I was considering leaving and buying elsewhere. However, after a restroom break; I looked around a bit more and a young man quickly helped me and I bought a great recliner!
I went in to see a bedroom group that I am interested in. I got all the prices I needed and a email of my list. Emanuel was such a nice salesman. He didnt pressure me to spend today nor did he let me pass without catching my attention. Great job!! I will be back in a few weeks to purchase my items.
Good place to buy furniture
Purchased several items from this furniture store over the last few years. They were courteous enough to provide us a frame for a bed we bought recently until the piece we ordered came in. Salespeople are always nice and willing to help. Only drawback when picking up is that the warehouse is located several miles away from the showroom. Warehouse personnel are also very helpful and friendly.

My fiance, son and I came in looking for a new living room set. Our experience in store was awesome. We picked the perfect set. We were told it would be 2 weeks until they would deliver. Which was totally fine but That was March 9th. They said they would call to schedule a time for delivery. 2 weeks come and go and My fiance called and they told us it would be in the middle of April now. I would have gave 5 stars if we werent still waiting for our furniture.

By using the online chat on their website, I was able to connect with sales. Emily went out of her way by taking pictures of inventory, showing me the extent of recline on chairs and color choices BEFORE I ever left the house. When I reached the store, the process took about 10 minutes . Now thats how I like to shop!
Ive had several encounters with Trent at Furniture on consignment. He is INCREDIBLE! Hes always attentive, listens to my needs and finds a suitable solution. Hes even helped rectify situations from other sales reps, without the need to get credit, just because it was the right thing to do. Thats hard to find in todays society and business. Trent is officially our furniture guy from here on out. I will not buy from anyone but him. That said, I enjoyed chatting with Bri and Jennifer, as they were both incredibly helpful and friendly, even though they werent selling me anything. On my way out, I met the manager, Lonnie, who also was very cordial. Took several minutes to find out how the service was and if I was pleased with my prior purchases. Thanks for all the hard work. I honestly wish I would have known there are no refunds on clearance items now Im out almost $170 on a dresser I havent even opened due to my daughters brand new bed took up more space in her room than expected thank you for making that known in person........its under Kathryn Redenius and Im currently trying to sell it cause I got told I can exchange and pay the difference when I called the other day and I dont want an exchange done

Always my first stop when I need furniture as they typically have everything I want at competitive prices. The manager and sales staff are great!
First of all, you have to put the furniture together yourself. They charge $99 delivery fee and dont even put it together. And the instructions on some of the furniture isnt very easy to follow. If I would have known all of this before, I never would have gone here to furnish my apartment. However the sales guy was very nice and helpful. I enjoyed being in the store itself. The warehouse however was not a good experience. You have to drive to a sperate location to pick up the furniture. In my case I had to make two separate visits because some of the furniture wasnt there the first day. After two visits I realized I was missing a piece of my furniture. Turns out it was at the warehouse and they forgot to give it to me the first time. I give it 3 stars because the store itself had a friendly staff and was helpful but the warehouse definitely needs some help. I heard other customers complaining about how slow they were on getting the furniture out . But I definitely wont be buying anything from here in the future.
Walked in, a few salesmen looked at us, but didnt get up from the couches they were sitting on. We continued walking towards the back where bedroom furniture is until a salesman, Sammy I believe, greeted us. He was great, which is the only reason for 2 stars. He found us what we were looking for but they didnt have in stock, We would have to wait up to a week though it could be sooner. So we told them we would buy it, but if we find something else that is available sooner, we would want to cancel that order. The gal at checkout confirmed that wouldnt be a problem. We ended up finding something else that was in stock. When we called back to cancel our order, got transferred 3 times. The first gal, put me on hold, then went to lunch. Someone else noticed the line eventually, and then asked who I was holding for, then told me the gal I was talking to went to lunch and she couldnt help so she had to transfer to another gal who was able to cancel our order. Never had someone put me on hold to go to lunch before!
The guy who helped me was named John Mountain. He was super helpful and answered all my questions. I told him what I could spend and he showed me great quality furniture in my price range. I was expecting to be shopping for hours but he made the process so simple and easy for me. I will most definitely be back again and will also recommend furniture on consignment to all my friends! Went in for several items to furnish a new apartment and was approached by a salesman. I informed him that Ive been to several furniture stores, I know what Im looking for, know my budget, the current market and pricing so Im just seeing what they have. He goes on to inform me that they go all over town and price match to make sure they have the lowest prices. False, everything seems over priced. Example, one barstool I found for $150 was priced $50 at another store, same exact model. Then after being stalked around the entire store I go to look at mattresses and the guy asks my budget. I tell him and he immediately goes to a bed $100 over my budget and continues to give me a story as to why I HAVE to spend more money on a bed. I am not ignorant, I gave you my budget and I will not be manipulated into spending more than I want to spend. Very cheap sales tactic, and when he learned I wasnt going to spend what he wanted, he was done with his A+ fake customer service. I was prepared to spend thousands in that store and now will never return.
Theres a lot to look at and theyre really helpful and honest. Worked with several people and we ended up getting a great deal on 2 items. Their financial gal in the back was awesome! She helped me get the best deal and even got me a 6 month deal with no interest. Nice place. Only downside is they just opened up a new distribution center thats further east and they close at 7.
Weve bought so many pieces of furniture from them over the past 6 years (couch, loveseat, recliners, table and chairs, 2 bedrooms sets, coffee and end table, and many more things). This is where we go when we decide we want to buy furniture. The only 2 things I think needs improvement are the store hours and the available stock. We just moved and decided to get my kids new bedroom sets, but will have to wait 2-4 weeks before we get them. Their hours arent very friendly when it comes to people who work and theyre closed on Sunday. Otherwise, their furniture is very nice, they have a large selection, prices are fair and they have great customer service!
