A locally owned store for over 28 years. If you are looking for information about how to attract and feed birds in your back yard this is the place to go. A small section of children’s toy and books. Many feeders for birds and squirrels and a great selection of granite baths.

This store definitely gets 5 stars. Nick and Cathy are awesome!! Not only are they very knowledgeable about all kinds of birds (even bats and owls) and how to attract them, they also carry top quality products and stand behind them. I had a problem with a bird bath and they were quick to replace it for me, no questions asked. Very thoughtful, giving people who also helped me out of a jam when I locked my keys in my car in front of their store. I cant say enough.

This little store is full of everything you need to feed all your backyard friends. The owners will answer any questions you have about seed, birds, squirrels and feeders. Dont forget to look for the store cat!

The owners are so kind, full of birding information, will answer a bazillion questions, and then theres Ruby the Cat - best bird store anywhere!!

Loved visiting Nick at the Backyard Nature Center! We picked up some feeders, a ladybug house, a bat house, and some other nick nacks. Even more excited about how much information he was happy to tell us about each product and every creature we asked about!

Gentleman answered my questions and gave me extra information on how to not get blackbirds not to come around. Tried it and it worked.
