I made the time to get to one of my favorite stores. I guess Im nerdy, but I just love bookstores! B&N is an example of a well organized & clean store. It has a staff of very knowledgeable employees, who are pleasant & helpful to those who seek assistance.The store itself is laid out in such a manner that a customer can easily navigate to the location of pertinent literature they came for.The Cafe is always a must for any bookstore. I love to get a soda or coffee & just listen to others talking of their purchases, or of trending news.Thanks B&N for providing such a store, that I can enjoy such experiences!

I love this bookstore, I have been coming here for years and just like the atmosphere. There is a starbucks like coffeeshop in the back of the store. In addition to books they have movies, music, board games, art supplies, comic books. Good place to spend a chill afternoon

Such a calm and relaxing atmosphere. I visited during the hot summer months and the inside was nice and air conditioned. Towards the back area, there was a quiet space for reading with large windows that let in the natural light. There was a cafe inside as well and I got an iced coffee to sip as I browsed the bookstore. There was a wide variety of books to choose from, books of different subjects were easy to locate and there were many beautiful journals that caught my eye. When I have the money for them, Ill definitely be returning. Maybe the most alluring of all was the shelves of Harry Potter related books and merchandise. A lovely experience that I will be repeating.

It just feels good to be there. The staff is always there to help but you are left mostly to your own devices. The smell of books and coffee jus makes me happy. They are constantly updating the look but it never loses the feel of a bookstore.

Theres something about Barnes and Nobles that I legitimately cannot find any faults in.There is so much here. So many amazing books and such a good atmosphere.I havent bought anything here since I was 10 but Ive been here every month for the last 7 months. My girlfriend and I just roam around looking at things.I also want to mention that the Lego aisle is actually more affordable here than places like Target or Walmart. Ive looked.All in all, an amazing place.

This is by far my favorite book store in Kansas, aside from used book stores & metaphysical stores. They have the most insane variety of every kind of book & subject you can imagine. Its huge. They also have a Starbucks so thats a plus.They have the best selection of New Age, Spiritual topics & Tarot/oracle decks. However, more people are becoming interested in the subject so they dont have quite as big of selection as they did a year or 2 ago. Still impressive though. I dont believe anyone can leave this store without spending a little more than they intended. I certainly cant ;)

Ive always loved this place! Do you need more books? Do you have many books you havent read? Either way you should check it out. Its my happy place. Even if I dont buy something, which is rare, I just love to hang out there.

I got two new books and enjoyed the cafe.

Typical Bookstore. Staff is friendly and there is a Star-B type coffee shop inside. A general manager told us once that Starbucks had a contract with B&N before they got big and when they were popularized, B&N had to stop using the name but the coffee and foods are Starbucks. Whatever. My family can spend a Saturday there and not be bored!

The place has such a nice vibe to it, all the workers are nice. Especially this one female worker at the Starbucks section. I never caught her name, but she had short black hair and a rainbow collar. She was really nice, and helped accommodate my drink when the store ran out of the stuff I wanted.Just a small thing, but she really made my day and workers like her really have me enjoying barns and nobles!

Good books. Good environment. Good coffee. Quiet. All around quaint little store.

Its a nice looking store but everything is overpriced and you can buy the same thing brand new on Amazon or some other local book stores

I LOVE this store! I love books and can get consumed in this store for hours. Sometimes it can be hard to find assistance, you have to walk all the way up front or go look for someone (maybe theres a secret I dont know, lol). I did hear bells going off, like someone was calling an assistant for help, but I couldnt find anything indicating this. Then again, I couldnt get my eyes of all those beautiful books!

I am reading again. I like to read R.L stine books Goosebumps series and the new Goosebumps slappy world series books. Great books. At Barnes and Noble bookstores the stuff members are nice and friendlyI will go back to Barnes and noble Bookstores.

Great bookstore, I honestly love visiting these. I use a lot of eBooks, but still love coming into the store itself, and reading through books and browsing through the deals. Their e-readers are great! But nothing can beat a bookshelf full of books!

One of my very favorite places to go! I do wish they would bring their big, comfortable chairs back. Also, move the gift section back to where it was.

I miss the kiosks that helped me find books in the store, but I understand if they were removed to fight the spread of Covid-19. Fortunately, an employee was available to show me which category the book I wanted had been shelved under.

My sister didnt think bookstores still existed so I had to send her a picture to prove it. My daughter wanted several hundred dollars worth of books, but I made her choose three. Shell never forgive me, but there are SO MANY books here we had to leave before we bought all of them...

Pretty much the only place I get my books. Only reason I gave B&N 4/5 is because the took out the kiosks with the latest remodel. I sometimes have a list of books I want to find and to bother an employee for that much is ridiculous.

I love this place. Could walk around here for hours. I wish it were as big as some of the ones in the KC area, but Im still impressed with the selection. Havent had much interaction with the staff but they all seem fairly helpful.

One of my favorite stores.

I asked one girl for help and she said Um, I work in the cafe and walked off. She didnt offer to get an associate to assist me and I didnt see anyone around to ask. Was not particularly satisfied.

Its so great to still be able to go to a bookstore and thumb through a book before you buy it. And really liked and applaud them on their Maps selection both for the United States and International.

Love all the books, I have bought many from here. The Starbucks isnt a full Starbucks so some items arent available but the staff is very helpful. The collector section is also full of fun things, including mtg and figure building.

Came in looking for a specific calendar, which I did not find. No one greeted me or acknowledged me in any way. I left empty handed.

Highly, overly crowded, and no floor employee asked if I needed help. But this is common during the holidays. The main reason I left feeling disappointed was that the man at the cash register, possibly the head cashier even, seemed antsy to go on break, rather than focused on customer care, unfortunately.He didnt once smile or say have a nice day or even thank you to us. I understand its a crazy holiday season, but, and maybe it is just my mindset, when I worked in this type of position, I tried to make each customer feel welcome. The customer should be the focus.He literally called up another manager in his earphone while handing us our receipt, saying, hey Id really like to take my break now. This WOULD NOT have bothered me, bc I know how busy it can get, and that taking time to put self first is important for health, except that this is how he ended our service.He didnt smile, he didnt say have a nice day, and he didnt say thanks, come and see us again, even after we said thank you to him. It was very awkward and cold.

Love this place for the books and mostly the variety

There is a decent selection of vinyl records to go with the books. Prices arent outrageous. Customer service was a bit lacking...

Store is generally very neat and tidy, their cafe is pretty nice and the staff is always helpful.

Books and coffee are my two loves in life, and with both in one building Im in heaven. Knowledgeable, friendly staff that will help when you need it, and leave you to roam and browse in peace when you dont. They have a really great selection to choose from as well, and a clean, organized environment. The only thing I probably dont like is the music they play in the store... it can be distracting.
