G&L garage has been there for 60 plus years sad to say theyre going out of business. They had excellent service.

Ive been to dozens of shops over the years and this one is the best! They are friendly and fantastic with their services. Have handled multiple problems with my old cars with aplomb. Very upfront about how much needs to be fixed to have your car running, and how much would be better for your car, but can wait. EXTREMELY fair pricing; they are worth every dime!

I came onto google to get the number for this shop I have used for years now. I noticed all the five star reviews and decided to give my own. Ken from G&L is one of the nicest people I have worked with in car repair. This place deserves all these reviews. Feel comfortable knowing that they will only recommend what is needed and will do it right the first time. That is all they have ever done for me.

I called to get an estimate on a tune up thinking I may need one I dont no. Ken answers ask info on my car tells me well TBH if your not really having any problems your only at 52 thousand miles I would wait until you get to more of 80 thousand. I was very pleased with his honesty, thats what brings me here. If I ever have car problems I will definitely be taking my baby to Ken. Thanks I really appreciate you.

We took our car to G & L Garage yesterday with strange noises and smoke coming out from under the hood. Ken looked it and gave us a good explanation of the the problem and what all needed to be done to fix it. He also gave us an estimate for what it would cost.I thought it would take a few days to fix but was pleasantly surprised to hear back from Ken in less than 24 hours that my car was ready. Ken at G&L is a fantastic Mechanic and hes also fantastically honest! Ive taken my daughters Mitsubishi Montero to him several times and Im always amazed at his communication, honesty and turn around time! There have been at LEAST two time that a mechanic could have told me a horror story about the work thats needed, but Ken has always shot me straight and honestly. Im forever a customer! Ken is a total sweetheart and always helps out the family. He let mom keep her car there for free until she could get it towed to a junkyard after it died, and did the same with dad a few years back. Hes always trying to help you figure out what you can afford and will quote you a price as accuratly as possible. Weve had times where it costs much less than we thought. He is efficient and makes sure to get everything done in a timely manor. Weve used G&L garage for about 5 years now and have never had any complaints. We moved to the west side and still go to this location because Ken is so amazing

The G&L Garage on East 13th Street North has been our cars garage since we moved to Wichita in 1966. The referral came from a friend who had used it since 1952 when it first opened We have been satisfied customers for nearly 50 years. You can get FREE air on the west side of the building. In 1974 a second G&L Garage opened at 1511 South Seneca. You can get FREE air there, too!

They tell me what needs to be fixed and why. If it can wait, how long so I can budget it. When my 20+ year old car had too much to fix, they gave me choices for a used car. They dont see a girl and think that they can do unnecessary things. Love this place!

The gents at G&L are great to do business with. In some cases, they have gone above and beyond the call to take care of us. I have taken company vehicles as well as personal vehicles to both locations. Overall, I have been very satisfied with their work.

I took my GMC Terrain to the GMC dealership here in town for a fuel pump recall. Got it back and “suddenly” I had a major oil leak. They quoted me 350.00 to reseal my valves and I told them to go ahead and do it. When they got into it they found my timing chain was stretched and quoted me 4500.00 for that to be replaced. They asked if I wanted to talk to a sales rep and use it as a trade in. I told them to put it back together and I would take it somewhere else. After being referred to G&L Garage I figured it wouldn’t hurt.Long story short of it, they took about 3 business days to change it out as well as a water pump, timing Chain kit, all the things that went along with it, parts, labor etc... only ended up costing me 40% of what other places had quoted me. Under $2000.00 dollars!!! They constantly kept me in the loop on how long it was going to take and what they were finding as they got into the engine. These guys know what they are doing and are very friendly when talking to me about it. I will recommend these guys to ANYONE having cars problems! They will be my FIRST stop on ANY future car issues. Thank you guys SO MUCH!

Best place you can take your car . My brother in law took my car to G&L after I was told it would cost $1,458.37 to be fixed . G&L found that it would only cost $406.06 to be fixed . My car drives like a dream now and I will only use G&L from here on out .
