I’m a novice Cigar Aficionado. I walked in one afternoon after smelling the wonderful aroma from outside and was greeted with a smile. The owner, with the utmost patience and knowledge, invited me into the humidor and explained the qualities and differences of the cigars that I was interested. He found what I was looking for and recommended a couple choices and invited me to have a smoke in the cigar room. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable. Customers can walk in the humidor, look, and smell, but cannot touch the cigars. He will put on a latex glove and collect your selection. The vigilance and attention to detail is reflected by the, aroma, flavor and wonderful experience Ive had enjoying his stogies.He is also firearm friendly.

Very nice and wise owner, helped us pick out cigars for our father for fathers day and all reasonably priced.

I’ve been coming here for years, on and off, when in Wichita. Cigar lounges are always friendly places, but this one tops them all. Not just an excellent selection of stogies, but a friendly owner and friendly patrons. A cool place to chill.

Do NOT go here to buy cigars !!!From the minute I walked through the door, the Asian lady who works there was rude for no reason and seemed to be profiling me. She even asked me Are you from around here? Like it even matters where Im from..?? As a retail manager myself, I found her attitude to be unprofessional from beginning to end. She wasnt helpful, but she did (intrusively) watch me like a hawk for some reason. Literally standing right outside the glass watching me the whole time I was browsing in the humidor (no joke). It was weird and made me feel uncomfortable, but being the first time visit, I tried to ignore it and kept looking around for no longer than 10 mins. Whats worse, she overcharged me for the cigar I selected (I CLEARLY saw the price while I was in the humidor). I discovered the error when I got to my vehicle, so I walked back in, to report the overcharge. While I was telling the guy who works there what happened and that I even TOLD her the price of the stick while I was at the register; she deceptively switched the price sticker with the price sticker on the box next to it (to try to make it look like it was MY mistake). I KNOW this, because I was also considering buying that other cigar as well (they were both the last stick in their boxes, they were right next to each other on the shelf and I remember the prices of both. I was charged for the more expensive one). Honestly, the audacity and blatant dishonesty of that woman is shocking. Makes me wonder how many other people this place has ripped off, that never caught it. I regret my visit/purchase, but lesson learned I guess. I only wish I could give this place 0 stars instead of 1. Ive NEVER been treated like this anywhere else, and Im actually a little taken back by it. What I thought would be a good experience turned out to be anything but and I wont be back. Do yourself a favor and go to The Humidor (west) instead. Theyre friendly, have a larger/better selection, actually HELPFUL staff, better atmosphere, AND they dont lie to you or try to cheat you!!I have no affiliation with the Wichita Humidor company. This is just an honest review of my experiences.IM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH OLD TOWN CIGARS.. 😕

In Wichita for a couple days and stopped to pick up some cigars to take home for my humidor...well am a stickler for my regular smokes but the lady running the shop pointed out Canimao cigar as one to try. I picked up one and stopped to smoke it...well what a great smoke! I will be heading back for a few more...thanks for the recommendation

I have been a customer here for more than 10 years now and have never had a bad experience! This is the BEST cigar store in Wichita, (or anywhere I have have been for that matter), period. The owners and customers make you feel at home and like family.The service here is always top notch and the Elogio Cigar line is my absolute favorite, especially the Serie Excentrico!
