I feel like his office needs a recent review. Ive gone and gotten eye exams twice and all of the staff is fabulous, but my favorite part is seeing the doctor. Hes incredibly personable, explains when you ask questions thoroughly and respectfully and hes engaging. Both visits Ive had with him he didnt just rush through my eye exam (it was quick but not in a get out kind of way) he actually talked about things in his life or asked questions about me, he wants to know his customers professionally and personally to tailor the experience. 100% recommend this man.

I can not say thank you enough. Best experience I have had in years. The staff was so awesome, took time to help me pick out my new glasses, helped play the yeah or naw game, (LOVE. My new glasses) lol. Dr. answered all my questions and explained very throughly. Dr. Really took his time did not rush, my appointment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Had no problem with my exam, Dr. Bumgardner is always up front with me and very respectful.

Had my eyes checked was pleased with my results. My optician was Jasmine and she was very thorough and pleasant. Will be back next year.

Dr Bumgardner is friendly, professional, and an expert. The staff however is very unwelcoming. In the waiting area, there was already an upset patron getting ready to leave. I waited about 30-40 minutes which was fine but thankfully I had no other appointments that day. When I got the puff of air in my eye the woman attending to me was very impatient. I requested glasses only, but in the end they seemed in a hurry and assumed I wanted contacts. Im guessing the glasses guy didnt want to pick through with me. So I was thinking whatever Ill get glasses elsewhere. Doesnt matter. I was told insurance would pay for eye contact exam but not the contacts. Then I get a call a few days later saying insurance doesnt pay for exam but only the contacts and I now have a balance of $70. Normally I would be understanding of this, I can pay the $70 the next day but the voicemail they left was harsh and accusing. Ive worked in customer service and am very understanding of policies. I dread going to this office.

Weve gone to Dr. Bumgardner for five years now, and love him and his staff. Theyre all very nice, very professional and very personable. Dr. Bumgardner is great, and has been knowledgeable and pleasant every time weve gone in. Our family highly recommends this office!**Update: we’ve been going to Dr. B for more than a decade now. Still love him and his staff!

Dr Bumgardners office is by far the best experience that I have had regarding eye appointments. From the friendly staff, professionalism and patience of Dr. Bumgardner, and all the updated equipment this business far exceeds expectations. I am very pleased and will make Dr. Bumgardner my familys permanent optometrist. If you are looking for friendly, caring, professional people, Dr. Bumgardner and staff are premier providers of customer service and care.

Seemingly very knowledgeable staff, although a couple of the girls up front werr a bit snooty. But overall a good experience and quick turnaround time on getting my glasses.

They intentionally lied about my insurance coverage that led me to get glasses that I wouldnt of bought otherwise. They also didnt prescribe me the right glasses prescription. Dr. Boyle (his old partner) has a much better practice a couple of blocks away.

This is my second time getting my glasses here and I literally love how my glasses end up . I havent got my second pair yet but I know they will come out great
