We needed a new, big TV that was smarter than the old one. Decided to try shopping local instead of the big box places and I am so glad I did. They have a large selection - they listened to what we wanted and showed us the products that met our requirements. No pressure at all. And their prices are very competitive. Delivery was quick and the installers were superb. This company ticks all the boxes for superior customer service.

Customer service is alive and well at Hephner TV. Brought my 12 year old Samsung in to be looked at, and hopefully fixed, but it wasn’t meant to be cost wise. However, I went there first to look into a new TV, and was very happy to have all my questions answered, and bought a great TV at a great price; plus delivery and set up! Not to mention I bought local, and supported a Wichita company that’s been around for years. There’s a reason they have been, and now I know why. I’m very happy with my purchase, and glad I stopped in to check them out. You should too. I searched on line, and the big box stores, but their price and service will keep me coming back.

Very nice experience shopping at Hephner tv. You will be buying from an honest, local family who doesnt try to pressure you to buy bigger. Much happier spending our money with them than the big chains.

I recently bought a tv at Hephners and was extremely pleased with the whole process from beginning to end. Having been recently widowed, I had never bought a tv on my own. I found the help I needed at Hephners. My questions and concerns were answered and when I left the store, I felt confident I had found the right tv. The installation was easy and, again, my questions were answered. I have another tv which need to be replaced soon. I definitely will return to Hephners.

Pricing consistent with what I was seeing other places but the service was far better. They actually have staff that can answer a question! Highly recommended.

Words cannot begin to explain how happy I am with them! Honestly don’t understand why everyone doesn’t buy from them! I’ve lived in Wichita my whole life other then when I was in the military. I cannot believe I haven’t been recommended to shop there before! It’s the whole package!!!!!! They price everything to meet or beat places around town including big name stores! They are so knowledgeable it’s crazy! I learned so much about TVs and surround sound I feel like a tv guru now. I went in to purchase a surround sound. Wasn’t looking at a cheap one either. He literally down sold me. Told me for what I was wanting he wouldn’t recommend somthing like that. Said he would sell it to me but he suggested somthing else much cheaper. I’m so happy with my purchase. I went back in to look at a tv thinking no way they can beat or atleast match the big name stores. They surprised me again! I will never buy a tv or surround sound from any other place. They even came out at no cost and helped me configure my speakers. When I learned I couldn’t do it myself. I cannot say enough good about them! Only wish I would have went to them sooner!!! Great prices great customer service! Very very knowledgeable! Highly highly recommend!!!!

I sometimes make bad decisions. However, buying my TV and related equipment from Hepfners was definitely not one of them. Kelcey and Michael both spent time with me on the phone and in my house fixing issues I had connecting my sound bar with my TV with my Cox remote. They were very understanding and great at helping me identify the problem (most caused by me) and walking me through steps to solve them. I could NEVER gotten this help from the Big Box stores. I highly recommend Hephner TV.

They sold me A 55 inch LG Led LCD TV that is great for the size of living room space that I have and didnt try to force me to buy a bigger TV that I wasnt comfortable with. I Recommend Hephner TV over any big Box Store.

They helped us equip the media room of our dreams, we now have a gathering place for friends and family for years to come. Memories are already being made in this unique space! We had a hiccup getting a couple pieces from overseas due to shifting trade laws, and eventually could not get one thing we ordered. Michael and the staff at Hephner went above and beyond to make the situation right and get us something even better than what we had ordered. We could not be happier with both the products and the service, this is the ONLY place in Wichita for your entertainment needs.

Excellent selections for new and some used televisions. Great customer service. Layaway plans available too. Nice clean store, multi-level with a service department. A must stop and see for anyones viewing and comfort pleasure. Also sells furniture for seating along with a variety of nice television stands.

Great service, knowledgeable staff, way better than big box

In 2005, my wife and I bought a 43 LG Plasma TV that cost almost $4,000. We went there because we wanted to support our local businesses. Within 6 months, the TV was a lemon. It would display a vertical yellow line about 7 wide. Hephner came out and picked up the TV. They had it about 2 weeks and then brought it back. The left external speaker was dented and scratched, and the problem still existed.We had them come back out and get the TV again. This time they had it for 3 weeks. They brought it back with the right speaker dented and scratched. The problem still existed, but now if there was something shiny in the TV show or movie, it would show up as a big blob.I contacted Greg and told him everything, and asked him to swap the TV out as this one was a lemon. He told me that I would have to contact LG. The TV was only 6 months old. I asked do you not support your product. He responded that I would have to contact LG.After dealing with LG for over 2 months, we finally had LG buy our TV back. We then went to Best Buy and bought a Pioneer Plasma that still runs like brand new.So where we tried to support a local business, they sure showed that they didnt care about their customers.

Too expensive, took nearly 100 dollars from me to tell me what I already know!!!! Diagnostic fee is collected and when they can’t fix d problem they tell you a price to replace parts is too high so that they can keep the money, because you r discouraged!!!!

Overall a really good experience working with them but I was under the impression that they matched prices with Best buy but they dont.

Smaller selection than big box store but they make up for it by staffing the very best. Highly educated individuals who know their products front to back and will bend over backwards to deliver great service. They also have an amazing repair department!

First, let me say they have as many if not more televisions & accessories to choose from than the large retail stores. I didnt know they had two floors. Here is what sold me at Hephner TV. The customer service I got and that they actually know all about electronics and explained it to me in a way that I understood too. I thought they would be too expensive, but I was wrong. Thank you, to the staff at Hephner TV. I will for sure be back.

Wanted to get tv cheaper than cable, got Roku, it is very complicated to use they wont take it back and I cant sell it. Will NEVER go back to Hephners. Out the roku money and the cable bill.

Great people! Dont want to buy a TV or sound equipment anywhere else. They deliver, set up and repair what they sell, plus repair some things they dont sell, such as VCRs.

Would give zero stars if I could!! DO NOT BUY ELECTRONIC PARTS FROM THEM UNLESS YOU CAN VERIFY IT BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE!I bought a capacitor and they sold me a substandard part, not the right size or temperature rating for any normal circuit board. It had short leads so I was suspicious from the start, but I needed it over the weekend so I got it. They charged me a premium price of $4 for something that you can get on the web for 50 cents. I did not have the old part removed yet, so I did not know it was the wrong physical size at the time. Once I got into the project, I immediately saw that the capacitor could not be installed - the leads were too short! So I took it back for a return - which they would not do. The receipt says no returns on parts, BUT I WAS NOT VERBALLY NOTIFIED OF THIS, AND I HAD ALREADY PAID WHEN PRESENTED WITH THE HARD COPY RECEIPT. I asked for an exception, but the owner, Mr. Hephner refused. I am an Electrical Engineer so I know what Im talking about. THESE PEOPLE WOULD RATHER RISK A BAD REVIEW THAN DO RIGHT FOR THE CUSTOMER! NEEDLESS TO SAY I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THAT BUSINESS AND I URGE ANYONE WHO READS THIS TO NEVER GO EITHER!

Bought a projector from them it went out called them they gave me a number to call to get it replaced they did nothing to help tube went out called them they said they can’t get one so why buy local there service sucks don’t buy here

What I like the most about this place is their advice and expertise. Within the first five minutes I could tell the guys were experts, and they knew their stuff. They sell the high quality TVs (LG, Samsung), but the price for the one I got was below Best Buys price.And since I bought the TV (55-inch LG for my man cave), Ive been able to go back in and ask advice on sound, lighting, etc. Theyre professionals. Highly recommend.

We went in to have our TV repaired. They didnt seem interested in fixing it but were very interested in selling us a new tv. After a week of having our TV We insisted we wanted our TV fixed. They said it would be two days and theyd get back to us. After a week we called them to find out what was going on. They said it needed a new motherboard. It was too expensive so we did some research and found it was very likely a problem with a fan. We asked them to look at it to see if it replacing the fan would be a less expensive option. They told us that would be a temporary fix and they wouldnt do it (it would also be very inexpensive). you pay a service fee and if you have your TV repaired that fee is applied to repairs. In our case that fee would cover these simple repairs. After a disrespectful conversation they refused to fix it the way we wanted it. We picked it up and stopped by radio shack on our way home to pick up a fan and some parts for 13 bucks we fixed it ourselves. Id like to warn others who are considering using their repair service. Be careful. Do research and go somewhere else.

Lightning took out my beloved Sony SXRD KDS 60A3000 60 rear projection television after almost 10 years of trouble free operation. I did lots of research online for a replacement before I did any shopping at the stores. The wife and I decided to go to Hephner TV in Wichita, Kansas first. They have a service department and that is a huge plus when buying a new expensive television. If a problem comes up it is much easier to deal with a service manager than dealing directly with the manufacturer.I was greeted by Rob one of their salesmen. He was very friendly and really knows his stuff. I listened carefully to the information he provided about different sets. He made only one error that I detected and that was the weight of the TV I was interested in. This minor error had no bearing on my purchase. Rob at no time pressured me to buy a set, he just offered information, showed us features and demonstrated the televisions. The wife and I ended up buying a LG OLED 65E7 set. The television price was somewhat more than I had planned to spend (about double), but the picture quality, simple remote control and the 178 degree viewing angle pushed me over the edge. Hephners price was as good as Best Buy and $400 less than ordering from Walmart so I took the plunge. Mr. Hephner offered to test the set before we took it home to make sure it wasnt DOA and that took all of about 5 minutes to un-box, test and re-box it.We are very pleased with the new LG OLED 65 TV and our experience at Hephner TV was great. They will be my first stop in the future when looking for TV and Audio equipment.Thanks to Rob and Mr. Hephner for a great experience. We love our new television.P.S. To the guy that posted the negative review regarding the capacitor incident. Not sure which planet you grew up on, but electronic parts are NEVER returnable unless they are obviously defective. Your lengthy negative review regarding a $4.00 capacitor made me chuckle.
