We are new to the area and so had never shopped at Ultra Pool before. We were hoping to find a loveseat for our back patio and were thrilled to stumble upon this store after looking at several big box hardware stores first. The selection and quality were top notch and the service from Debi was outstanding. Although we paid more than we originally wanted, we got the chair on sale and are confident it is a piece of furniture we will have for many more years! We’ve had the couch a week and use it daily. Love it!

John did a great job fixing my leaking motor on my hot tub. I tried for many hours myself with no luck. John figured it out, fixed it in less than an hour, and it works great again. All ready for winter.
Lots of companies can clean pools, but it’s the people at Ultra Modern that make the difference. They have all been wonderfully warm and compassionate. Whether it’s cleaning my in ground pool or repairing the equipment, the people have always been eager to assist, willing to answer all my questions and professional in their actions. The actual cleaning and maintenance work is top-notch as well.
We have had Ultra Modern Pools now about 3 weeks and in that time they have done an outstanding job; far better than the previous pool company who could not get our pool right or ship shape in almost 4 months! Ultra Modern will be our go to for years too come!
Well you came out to put a new panel on my hot tub that was broken during delivery. Didn’t even put the screws back in the panel didn’t put the latch system back on the panel for the hot tub cover. I called in and let the service department know about this and they said you could screw it in yourself. I told him I would not that they needed to come out and finish the work I have yet to hear back from them.
Technicians were nice and knowledgeable. Service was done quickly and they did a great job. We definitely will be using them again.

We had a very good experience here. We bought outdoor furniture for our patio. Jason was kind and informative. The furniture we bought cost more than our bedroom set but this is an investment because they will last much longer than a set from Lowes, Home Depot or the like. We will definitely come back and purchase other items from here.Question: Why dont the deliver guys work on weekend? With both my husband and I working it is a little hard right now to take off durning the week.

Where do I begin? We learned that moving a swim spa from Texas to Kansas is a nightmare. Until you find your way to Kara, the store owner at Ultra Modern. We didn’t buy the spa here but we noticed Ultra Modern sold Endless Pool Spas so we called them to see if they could help when all our attempts in Austin failed. Kara was the most helpful person we encountered in our entire move process, actually. She helped us in so many ways to make it happen. She always responded to calls and emails, coordinated everything around our move schedule, and never kept us hanging or wondering. I cannot tell you how many spa places we had to call in Texas and how dismissive we were treated as we inquired about moving the swim spa. Moving across states is always a bear, but throw in a 7.5 x 15 swim spa and it becomes an even bigger challenge. Kara seemed to know how important this was to us and she made what should have been the hardest part of our move the easiest. I wouldn’t buy a spa from anyone else if I was buying in this area. These are expensive toys and you need to be able to trust your spa dealer.

Customer service above and beyond! It is easy to leave a 5-star review when everything goes perfect. However, when things dont always go according to the plan (not because of anything UltraModern did) the way a company responds is very insightful. Kara and her team were very responsive and only a call away. They made sure we got taken care of and were up and running. They definitely earned their 5-star rating.

Ultra Modern Pool & Patio is hands down the best pool store I know of. I had went to a pool store prior to Ultra Modern, only to end up losing 200$ with no results on my green pool problem. Ultra Modern examined my water, told me exactly what I needed, and had my green pool blue in 2 days at an affordable cost. The customer service was great, and the people working there are very polite. They will always have my business when it comes to pool care needs.
Seal went out on our Jacuzzi tub we bought years ago from Ultra Modern. Brought it in to replace seal. Motor was also notably loud and I assumed on its last leg. Kristen had the repair department ready as we had a 100 mile trip [Haviland, KS] to bring the motor to Wichita. Repaired it in a few hours. ++++ Excellent job of working to help us out! THANK YOU!Replaced seal in motor. Put motor back on the hot tub. One week later, motor crashed. Called Kristen. She was informative, accurate in her timing (two weeks with allowance for Christmas holidays). I knew how to plan. Kristen notified me as soon as it came in. Went to Wichita, ;picked up motor, tub is running like new.Kristen made the whole journey doable. A+++ thank you and so glad we bought from Ultra Modern.
This is the largest pool store I have been to in Wichita. The worker was great about testing the water sample I brought in and helping me pick out some chemicals I needed. I was informed though that they only carry the shark vacuum and not the dolphin robotic vacuum. That suprised me since the dolphin robotic vacuums are the best in the pool world. They also sell hot tubs and saunas, along with all kinds of cool stuff you would want for your pool or spa needs. I highly recommend coming here if you need anything for your pool.
Just had our first pool and experience with a pool company. I waited a couple weeks so everything could sink in before I wrote this. It was definitely a good experience. Everything went the way they said and no complications. Haven’t had any service yet but hoping everything will be on par with initial experience. I also wanted to say Will (the lead) was very professional and anytime I needed an answer he provided it. The sales team has also been great. I took my first water sample in and they did a nice job. I have had nothing but a great experience here. The staff are friendly and helpful. I have had MANY issues with my pool this last summer due to improper maintenance and closing by the previous workers. They were always happy to see me, even though I was there at least once a week, if not more. They are knowledgeable about the products and upkeep. They ALWAYS try to help the customer do the easiest way before shoving expensive and time consuming solutions down the customers throat (unlike most places). When I requested a service technician he came out in a timely manner. He also called me to let me know he was here because my office isnt near to the pool. I will definitely recommend to people I know with a pool!

I had just purchased a new to me home. It was sold with the hot tub. The previous owners did not leave any chemicals or any instructions on where they left off. I went in to Ultra Modern and they were able to help me. The looked up in there system and was able to tell me what chemicals the previous owners had used. So I was able to continue to use the same thing. Shop local, I will always use ultra modern because of the great customer service they gave me.
Everytime I need to cycle our hot tub this is the only stop I need to make. Staff is on point, inventory is vast and their showroom is a place of inspiration. Thx guys, momma is happy and Im still Superman.

We have given ultra modern our business for the last year-- we were new to pool ownership and our experience has been one delay, cancelation, late arrival, miss communication or non communication after another. We are looking for a business that puts emphasis on customer service. Whoever owns this company needs to do some serious employee training or housekeeping because they are ruining your business. Especially your service manager.
Every time I go into Ultra Modern they are always friendly and willing to help. We had the toughest time pinpointing what the problem with our pool and why it was so cloudy. They ask me step-by-step what it was I was doing and putting into it and we finally resolved the problem. They thought originally it would take a week or so to fix when just from their questioning it take 2 days!!!! They are the best at what they do thank you for all your help.

Oh my gosh I can’t say enough AWESOME things about Ultra Modern Pool and Patio!!! The customer service I received was impeccable! Leanne was wonderful and made sure to help me figure out what was wrong with our water and even called to check on me and our pool after hours!! Our pool was pond brown due to the maganese in our water and after Leanne researching and contacting bio guard they helped get our pool a beautiful crystal clear!!!
We were having problems with our pool pump. Josh Beers at the West store got it up and running very quickly. Stan and Leeanne were very helpful as well.
Had Ultramodern come out to open my pool. The Tech did not know what he was doing. He did not open the valves to the skimmers so they were not skimming the pool. There was a very big leak on one of the pipes that he failed to fix and he did not vacuum the pool. I called and complained and texted photos. They told me where to set the valves so that part was taken care of. They did send him back the next day to plug the leak. After he left I noticed that he had also failed to open the water valve to the heater. I did that myself. I have done lots of business with Ultra Modern and will continue to do so. I think this Tech is just a bad employee.
Waited 15 minutes to be checked out. 4 employees helping 2 customers. Several others not concerned about customers waiting. When one got done at the check out counter, they went and helped their friend instead of checking me out. I had to ask someone to check me out after standing at the checkout for over 15 minutes.
My husband and I decided to check out the patio furniture sale just on a whim the Sunday before Labor Day. We had been working outside all day and came in about 20 minutes before closing time. We were greeted by Sonia and informed it might be a little bit before they could get to us, since there were only Sonia and Jason working. We took our time looking around thoroughly and when Sonia came back around, she did very well to stick to our price point we gave her. We found the perfect patio set for us and Jason even helped my husband load what we could into our truck. Even at closing time, the day before a holiday, we did not feel rushed or pressured. In fact, we were very well taken care of and would defiantly shop there again.

The team at UM are the best. Stand behind their products 100%. Had a couple problems with our spa (no fault of theirs), they bend over backwards and dont stop until you are fully satisfied, sales staff, management, and service folks alike, real professionals. I would recommend them without reservations, and they beat all prices.
We are a 1st time pool owner, so we went to Ultra Modern to answer our many questions. The staff was helpful and knowledgable. We signed up to take a beginners clas. Today we feel we know much more then yesterday by drawing from their experiences and following their maintenance plans.

I just bought a Jacuzzi Hot Tub from Ultra Modern East Store. Greg, my sales Rep was very knowledgeable and we looked at just about all of the Tubs there. A week later it was installed, Shean and Sam were super nice and had it up and running in no time, what a great crew all the way around.
Great experience with Leanne in helping me understand my water quality and what I needed to do the unlock chlorine demand and clear up water. She even called me on the weekend to follow up and see how it was going. She gave her email address to send in questiions if needed. Excellent customer service from her!!!

This review represents my experience with Ultra Modern Pool & Patio in Wichita, KS. We purchased a Jacuzzi J-145 spa at the state fair in September 2017. A few days after the spa was delivered I noticed water leaking from underneath the spa. This was not due to condensation or water being splashed, but rather a leak from internal components. Additionally, the LED lights within the spa were defective from day one as well. They rapidly flash as if they were a disco ball.Naturally, after the discovery of these defects and allowing them to go on for a few weeks I called to have the spa serviced and fixed. The repairman was top notch and very friendly. He showed up, diagnosed the spa, and had to order parts. This took about 2 weeks for the parts to come in and the leak to be fixed. However, the lights either were not addressed or the fix did not correct the issue. They still flash rapidly.Due to these issues, I sent Jeff Jarvis, the employee who called me to schedule the delivery/setup etc. of the spa an email indicating these defective issues. The email was sent on 10-30-17 and I have yet to receive a response.As I was unsure if Mr. Jarvis is/was still employed with Ultra Modern, I got on their company website and sent another email via the contact us box. This message was sent on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. I have yet to receive a response from this as well.Therefore, I feel it is prudent to leave a review of the unsatisfactory response (or lack thereof) and service received from Ultra Modern. I have pasted below the most recent message sent to Ultra Modern. Hopefully, this will at a minimum get someone from this company to acknowledge my concerns after spending thousands of $$ on a spa.Good evening. I sent Mr. Jarvis an email a few weeks ago regarding a new spa we purchased at the state fair this past September. In that email I relayed various issues we have had with the spa since it was delivered/installed. This includes a leak that has been ongoing for around 2 months which has caused constant and continuous filling of the tub with water. At this point, it has likely been filled 7-8 times in the 2 months we have had it. The maintenance tech, which was very helpful, arrived today with the parts to finally fix the leaks that have been ongoing since its delivery. Additionally, the spa lights have been defective this entire time as well. Due to the apparent lemon of a spa, the cost of filling the tub numerous times, abundant amount of chemicals used per the fillings and constant flux in stability of the water, numerous trips to the store to have the water tested, spa light deficiency, and my overall satisfaction with the combination of these issues is troublesome. Anyhow, long story short, as Mr. Jarvis has yet to respond, (and maybe he isnt the right person to address this I have no idea) I would like to see if we can work something out. Maybe just swapping this tub for another similar model or returning some of the money I paid for it. I would be glad to work with you guys on a resolution as the time, money, water, electricity, and effort I feel needs addressed. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from someone soon. Went into the west store to pick up a few things today....lots of employees just standing around. We also wanted to have our water tested. The lady said it would take 20 min. Theres no way it takes that long. I can go to the store in Derby and it takes them a minute or two. One cashier for the entire store and it was busy. The manager Jason was just chatting away with the guy a head of us in line which was holding up the line. One person a head of us in line who was buying 2 items and it took a good 10 minutes for us to get to the register. The cashier was doing her best, but it seemed like a lot of the management was just goofing off. Frankly the service in the west store is horrible and I wont go back.
The first time we went in, a gentleman was very friendly and helpful. Of course we were purchasing a lot of chemicals and equiptment for a hot tub that came with the house we bought. About a week later we went in and the exact same guy wouldnt give us the time of day, but instead acted as though we were keeping him from something else...a larger sale perhaps? Have been in 2 times since and are treated the exact same way. Now we want a pool and a pool table, but I plan to purchase them both, as well as all the chemicals from a different store!
QUALITY patio products. NOT inexpensive. Top drawer selection of ya want higher quality than big box stores.

I hate the long wait for service, but the water tech and pool support team always give great advice and support. I had them install my pool pump and open my pool this year, and because of their quality work I have had great luck with my pool. I only took off a star because they are woefully under-manned in the store, but what they lack in quantity they make up in quality.
One of the few places in town to get spa supplies. Employees arent rude, but not sincerely warm & fuzzy either. I always feel out of place here. Wish they send postcards or some form of communication when chemicals go on sale.
