Wow Richard M. Seemed like a great business owner until my experience today. I brought my bike to his shop for a simple rear tire change. He completed the job and went about my day. After couple hours I went for a short ride. My rear tire started wobbling and I pulled over. I called him to let him know. He drove and met up with me and found out my bearings broke. Who was the last person to ever touch my bike? Him 2 hours previously from his shop! I didn’t even get mad towards him while my bike was strapped down on the back of his truck. So I kindly asked if he can deliver my bike to my house near his shop. He said I guess I can. I’m thinking that’s not much to ask knowing you installed my rear tire incorrectly. He wanted more money for his time he said towards me acting rude! IM THE CUSTOMER! I said okay how much you want? He said nothing and told his friend to remove my bike and left me stranded! I spoke to my friend who’s too mechanic at Harley and he told me it was definitely his fault. Richard you’re rude and unprofessional. I can’t believe you left me stranded! You definitely won’t earn my business anymore!

Richard and his team are simply AWESOME!! I needed help with a top end rebuild that I was doing, not him and he never hesitated to listen and offer helpful advice. this was well before I even spend a dime there. Complete professional but at a regular persons level!He was super helpful with ordering parts I needed, getting the cylinder ready for me and then finally, cleaning and tuning the carb so that the bike starts fist kick every time!I will reccommend Active Motorsports and Richard for any all your toy repairs you need. First off I couldn’t list a service because he provided me with none, I was tempted to go with “battery” but my battery was “misplaced” while under his care.A few months ago I had some work that was supposed to be done, actually it was just a simple tune up. 1.5 months later after a couple of calls my quad had not been worked on or even looked at.The worst part of it is the owner lost my battery! When I asked about it he played coy. Then he proceeded to let me look through all of his batteries. Well a lot can happen in a month and a half as far as losing my battery or giving it to somebody else. But nothing had happened in that long time to my quad.( He offered no solution to return my battery that had cost me about $130 )This is no way to run a business and I really hope you save yourself time and headache and avoid people who do not get anything done.So my quad sat here for almost two months and it cost me a battery and time that I could have spent working on this myself. It took my about 6 hours to run through the whole quad myself and this guy couldn’t do it in 1.5 months. Pretty pathetic business model and a horrible way to treat customers or just any people in general.Avoid, AVOID, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!(Wish I didn’t have to give any stars but 1 is the minimum, I would rate this place negative if possible)

Delt with them over the phone. The guy that I talked to was very friendly and helpful. Offered several options to meet my needs.

The owner is a very nice guy. I ended up having parts ordered that were in San Diego and they drove down there to get them for me as I needed my bike back for work. The prices are reasonable. I was very happy with the work of replacing my front rotor, brake pads, and tire. It is wonderful to find a local place where you are not a ticket.12/6/17

I had never met Rich before calling him last Saturday. My wifes motorcycle needed repair before we were to leave the next morning for a ride.After explaining my situation, Rich invited me to bring the bike in right away, even though he had a full day of work already.He stated he would have it done my days end, even if he had to stay late.That is great customer service. And, the bike ran great on our trip, thanks to Rich.I would highly recommend his service.

I will start off my saying the owner Rich is a very knowledgeable and super thorough. Also both he and his son are very friendly and nice men. I took my 2 quads in to him for some repairs not knowing what needed to be fixed. He explained everything and the things that may come up while fixing them. He stayed in contact with me the whole time. My bikes have never ran better. I highly recommend.

Owner was very rude

First let me start by saying that the owner is a very nice guy. He was very confident that he could fix my two skis. One was running but not well, the other one was not running. Hes had them for 3 and 1/2 months, forgets to call me back and give me weekly updates like he says he will and now when I called them again he says hes cant figure it out. I am heading over to pick them up now. I am very disappointed.

I really like this place. I brought my old 1985 Honda there for a carb clean and it runs great. The owner is really knowledgeable and explains the repair to you. I would defiantly recommend him to my friends.

We have been going to Rich for a year with our atv/utv/water craft/dirt bike needs. Personable service! Quick and easy.

Its such a relief to find an atv repair shop that is pretty quick in repairing my ds650, knowledgeable in determining the problem, and is honest and has a high level of integrity. I brought in my ds650 with a bad big bore job that a different shop did. Rich kept me posted to the progress as he got the problem fixed he goes above and beyond in the repair. I got my ds650 back fixed and running great in time for the riding season and the cost was a welcome relief from what Ive paid to other shops in the past. Thank you Rich for your help and I will pass on your info to people I know that need their atv, boats, utv, atc and jet ski serviced.

I got an estimate to fix my Seadoo Speedster from another company and they wanted to over fix the true problem in which equals over charging. Rich at Active, diagnosed the true problem and it was a third of the cost!

I take my Sea doos to Richard..he does his job done will keep bringing my sea doos again.. Good place and reasonable prices.
