So it says online that this store is open til 9 correct? I get here at 8:50! And they say sorry we are closed and there’s people in there now that don’t even work here and I can’t come in to get one single item!? Do better or close this DG!

Not very stocked but they seem short handed. Staff is always very friendly.Update: The store is still very much not stocked. Items littered the floors and in wrong spots on the shelves. For some reason the milk fridges are full of milk but cant be sold, as per a wrongly spelled sign dictates. I found an oddly high amount of soda cans and energy drinks sitting in random warm shelves. Floor is filthy, tons of things blocking the already small aisles.Im not sure whats going on in this store. My last review was written with the idea that it was just a busy day, but a monthish later its only gotten worse.Im seeing a lot of new faces at the location, all of them are friendly, and they are the only reason this place gets any stars.See the attached images to see the state of the store.I guess people no longer have pride in the places they work.

Went in there to grab a few things at 8:30 this evening the employees decided to lock the door at 8:35 insane customers away it was extremely unprofessional as I waited in line for them to try to figure out how to give a customer four dollars in pennies

Used to be a favorite shopping spot of my wifes and mine until we were recently harassed and wrongfully accused of shoplifting by a secret shopper. I had a pack of terry towels in my pocket that I had purchased earlier in the morning at Dollar Tree. Upon checkout the secret shopper that had such impressive undercover skills I didnt notice him following me around the store for 45 minutes straight, asked me to remove the towels from my pocket because he had witnessed me stealing them. Well I told him he is lying and asked to show me where in the store they sold towels with that UPC. He refused. I asked cashier to scan the UPC to see if the product scanned as being sold by the company. He told her not to. I was told to leave or the police would be called. I gladly waited for their arrival but after 45 minutes I could only assume that he feigned calling them. Again will never shop at this location again, will have to go to Kidder street store from now on ...

Closed now but they either open at 8am or 9am depends the holiday hours they work by,,, trying to clean up because of the holidays & restocking new items but clean stores at times also good items food products things you might need in a somewhat hurry!! Associates sales workers can help if needed!

They are always out of products. The store is always a mess. Most of the time there are u boats with products on in the floor which makes it hard to walk or push a cart

I went there to finishing up my thanksgiving shopping as I was leaving the casher said something to my step daughter bout me stealing I didnt hear what he was saying so when I got to the car my step daughter told me he was accuising me of stealing so I went back in the store to ask why you do u think I was stealing an he was like I seen what I seen I said check the cameras he said he did an he deffently saw me stealing mind you I bought 75 dollars worth of stuff I have a good paying job I just got paid on Thursday an I keep on saying that I didnt take anything why would u think that an I kept repeating myself an he got mad an started cursing in front of the customers telling me get the f out of the store I dont need to b treated like that

Store its self is good although I do feel their under staffed. Great prices. Good amount of parking. Not wheelchair friendly. Its too packed. Pretty clean. All in all good store.

Place not that clean, nor stocked. you get a notification from the app saying you get a veterans discount if youre a veteran and the cashier cant seem to function without the paper to scan. Nor, just because the paper is missing does it mean its no longer applicable. As that was on the 14th and the discount doesnt end until the 15th closing.

For a while this store wasnt the best and they couldnt keep good employees. Nor could they keep product in the store. It seems to have gotten better over the past month.

One of the dirtier, poorest stocked dollar generals I have visited in some time.. while the manager seemed very nice, she seems to be overwhelmed.. GET HER GOOD HELP OR YOU WILL LOOSE THIS STORE TO THEFT AND PATRONAGE

The place is dirty with product that is not put away. The place allows any type of characters in the place. I witnessed someone putting items in their back pack. and walk right out of the place. Was it an inside job, well my gut tells me there is more then meets the eye with what I saw take place..I just minded my business paid for my items and left.

Well its a Dollar store..got stuff for cheap you get your energy drinks over here and your laundry detergent over there. The NPCs of the store are..well npcs pretty standard characters. Now..cat food however Im not even going on about that youll have to find out for yourself. I like the candy yum yum and the parking lot is decent

I mean its never let me down. Its a little dirty but gets the job done.

I was very thankful for excellent service.

The evening shift leader is great. She is enthusiastic and like ridiculously kind and helpful. Theres also a young man with dreads not sure of his name but he is pretty fantastic as well. Id rate 5 stars but theyve recently had a lady there ( evenings mostly) blonde short hair late 40s early 50s... Shes rude with an attitude for no reason.

Download the app, the coupons are awesome. I must stop here at least 3 times per week. I love it so much more with all these coupons and deals.

Its as of no one knows what theyre doing in this store. You ask a question and no one knows where it could be in the store. Even the manager. Its not well lit in the parking lot at night. But be careful about how early you go otherwise you will have to fight through all the freight that they have sitting for you to fall over all in the aisles.

The cashier tried to scam me. By saying my card was declined, when my screen said approve,Than charged me two different amounts a minute apart. Thank god for my bank notifications. I will never shop at this location. And cant wait for the day he does it to the wrong person.

It was busy when I got into the store as they were unloading a truck but they all were polite and let people get where they needed to shop. The cashier was also very fast and got a long line done before anyone could even complain about there being only one lane open! Very impressed!

I gave this store across from the post office in Wilkes-Barre three stars and the reason why I gave you three stars is that the store is not anybodys friend the way its set up if I need to go and get something and I have all of about 5 minutes I cannot find it I literally have to go through a good portion of the store to find what Im looking for theres not enough registers open nobodys saying hi as i walk in. The store even though it was sort of recently renovated need a whole new set up. Dont go to the store if youre in a hurry!

My wife and I actually watched two women fill two purses as they shoplifted and when we actually told the lady at the register it was as if she was more upset about the fact that we asked her to perform open heart surgery. The staff is incredibly rude 2 an extreme . They literally let people shoplift thats the bottom line they do not want to take the time to stop anybody because it would require paperwork that they are too lazy to want to do . The entire place looks like it hasnt been cleaned in years theres more product on the floor than there is actually on shelves or hung up in a nutshell the place is a S#!÷ HOLE.

Typical dollar store food, drinks, beauty, home and office supplies, and other assorted offerings. Great place to grab and go if you forgot something. Only complaint it was a bit cluttered; closeout and clearance on Valentines stuff and preparing for Easter.

The clearance rack with damaged and out of season items was extremely over prices. Ex. A bag of opened tide pods was marked at 6$!!!!! They also are never in stock of items like specific brand bandages and Neosporin.

They are open late which is a plus, we dont always want to make a trip all the way up to wally world and wait on the long lines there. They have most what you would need in household items, not where I would do my usual shopping but when youre out of a specific item a quick trip here is or can be quite convenient. Store is for the most part clean. Usually only staffed by cashier or at least when I have been there.
