Large small selection of merchandise. What I mean is they seem to cover all merchandise departments, except fresh produce. Lawn and Garden, clothing, housewares, crafts, coffee and teas, area rugs, pets and birds, body and bath, etc. Many unique items in the food department. Prices are ok. I definitely would not call them a discount store. As with any retail store or low price, shop smart and compare prices. Unfortunately their USA flags and patriotic items are made in China. I will only buy USA flags made in America and highly recommend everyone buy items Made In American when you can!

I was helped by one of your nicest employees. Her name was Merlin, in the food department. She was so helpful & genuinely a nice person. She definitely made things much easier for me. She knew exactly what I was looking for & where it was Its because of people like her that I continue shopping there. Its hard to find people like Merlin so willing to help. Clean store.But some employees would need some proper reevaluation on how to run a cash register, and greeting customers nicely. Some lack to bag items that need bagging! I dont think a customers should remind an employees to bag certain small/ large items.I Hope this commentary can improve the management and is taken seriously.Please hire those who can take the positionas a leadership, not those who sink the whole ship.

The best use of an abandoned Toys R Us I could imagine. The store is clean. The hours open are on average with the other retail stores in the arena hub. The great thing is most of the prices are about half what you would expect. However, you would still do well to have a good knowledge of what things cost, because there are a few things that are not a discount of any kind.

First time shopping there. Very helpful associate helped me load large myself into my vehicle.Check out lady offered up a store membership card and made the transaction go smoothly.

I went in without a cart but will not do that again! I left with a wheelbarrow, garden kneeler & sit foldable chair, plant stands, and etc. I might be going back in a couple of days for more gardening items.

Prices are very good, they even are lower than Walmart and some of TJ Maxx gourmet foods and coffees.The best thing about Ocean Job lot is their management and employees. Everybody is very courteous, helpful and professional.You can really save a lot of money at Ocean Job Lot.

Great store in whole! First time at this store / franchise in general. Guber merchandise from all department thought possible. Great deals with inside shopper card (store member discount rewards) . For most merchandise, it is definitely cheaper and or better than competitions prices / quality . Other merchandise e.g. laundry detergent, just your normal pricing as would be in any other store. But I did get a gift card back with my purchase totaling $26, so its like additional 25% off back in store gift card rewards. Will be back shopping here soon!

I will explain you asked ! My sister talked your store up ! So we went and unfortunately when there i saw the same item priced differently in different locations. One register open with 20 people in line. Nothing from the ad in the actual store .the cleaning practices and organization seem to be lacking. So i hope you can work on these things.

I had never heard of Ocean State Job Lot until this location opened a few weeks ago. I went there for their soft opening. I was impressed. They have really nice products and great prices to match. I have been there several times since. I recently bought huge citronella candles for $2.50 each. They have a variety of products from clothing to pet supplies. I describe it to my friends as a mixture of Ollie’s and Big Lots but nicer and cheaper.

I only went there once so far. I wish this was closer, I probably would shop there more
