I usually stop in the store once week. Ive noticed two new managers whom were more than helpful and made my shopping experience even better. The store is heading in the right direction.Before I met the new managers, I was rarely acknowledged by the old management team. The managers i spoke with were Kevin and Matt, I wish I could provide their last names so i can give proper recognition.The store is looking alot better! Keep up the great work!

Good prices especially on meats and frozen products. Produce section could be better. A great variety of Spanish based products as well.Bring your own bags 😉

Store has good products at pretty decent prices. Workers could be a little more friendly. Place looks a bit dark and gloomy unlike other grocery stores where theyre bright and full of life. Typical for a Wilkes Barre store though. Nothing to brag about. Just your basic grocery store.

Prices are going up, but Save-A-Lot is still affordable. Pumpkins $3.99!

Amazing place. Has items cheaper than most other stores. Even name brand! We just filled our cart over the rim for less than 200 bucks and got so many meals.

The cashiers are very rude every time I go there. They dont greet you at all,they just stare at you,as if they hate their life. They dont even tell u the total at the end of ur order,u have to try and look urself, as theyre staring at you,or u have to ask them and they then tell u w.an ignorant tone. This place is very unprofessional.

Basic little grocery store with plenty of off brand items and such. Its a good grocery store and youll (sometimes) find everything youre looking for.

Nice store cant find normal food items. Good meats and good meat prices. Mostly caters to the Hispanic crowd. Prices are average to semi-low. Staff is nice and helpful.

Interesting stuff. Small store, so easy to get in & out quickly. But didnt know u have to pay for bags.

Not a good experience in the time of the pandemic. Went here last weekend and saw no social distance and there were 2 people in line not wearing a mask and no employees did anything to intervene. I know this becuase I was right behind them. Im probably never going here again until the pandemic is over, or not at all.

A place we need period...

It was packed in here on a sunday afternoon, this was right in the middle of the corona panademic. no one was social distancing or wearing masks and no one was enforcing either be done. to top it off there was ONE cashier and a line of about 12-15 people waiting. i ended up leaving without buting anything, my very impatient boyfriend had enough after standing for at least 20 minutes without the line moving at all

Food is afordable but scary to get in and out of. Bad element in that area.

This place sparked my claustrophobia. Low light, very crowded. But not people crowded, you barely have room to push your cart around and forget it if youre sharing an aisle with someone going the opposite way.

Overall.. Very good place to shop... Low prices always well stocked... Bananas and grapes are always a must pick up when I shop there....and I think overall its a very good store

Be careful with the meats. Specially the chicken its usually no good.

Good prices but its off brands. They dont always have same brands or items. Found a melee worm in a head of lettuce. You need a quarter to use their shopping cart. Bring your own bags or buy theirs. I think they are a dime for small ones or quarter for bigger thicker ones.

Compared to others in NYC and NJ they need revamping.The staff is friendly but what is with isle 6 called Hispanic seems kind of rascist most stores would call that isle International or Goya that needs to be renamed no good.

This place was a great escape from the hysteria in bigger stores right now. They had everything I was looking for and staff kept the lines moving fast. Props to this store for holding it down during a crazy time.

Great sales. Great selections. My absolute go to store when im shopping on a budget and trying to get quality items. I dislike the lack of employees around the first of the month when welfare recipients are buying things. It causes longer service time. Also they do t offer bags to their customers. The food is low priced but if your going to charge 10 cent a bag we mine as well just pay the full price. Other than that. I would send people there.

My late husband shopped,there when the store 1st opened.I couldnt believe the prices! I tried your Coburn Farms yogurt, amazing! But now you have changed the yogurt frm. Cherry-vanilla to plain cherry, & the 2lb vanilla Got last week.Well, it was not the usual creamy vanilla in container (not expired til 1/2020) it was runny & not good.The small size creamy(vanilla) I do like.So I hope you find this info relevant.Please bring back the 2 for 80cent creamy cherry- vanilla yogurt! The workers are very friendly & always helpful.

It was a five-star store… I was just in there and nearly every price has gone up.. (and quality of meats has gone substantially down)..from what I could tell to the same price as a regular supermarket.. as far as their name goes they should change it now! Thank you 🤙PS.. the cashiers (if you could find them) usually only two on duty.. which create long lines from the few locals that shop in there so expect to spend a little extra time there because of it.Peace out :-)🤙

Shop the sales here a lot. Hit and a miss on actually finding sale items. Meat... Ive had the best and worst porterhouse steaks from this place. I know how to pick good beef but even when it looks good, sometimes it just isnt. For the price, this place is above most other grocery stores. Just not a lot of variety and a small store with abysmally long lines but the checkers always have a smile for you. Be sure to bring your own bags or pay for them. They dont provide grocery bags.

The place is more like a warehouse passing as a supermarket but I can buy steaks really good fresh New York strip steaks for for $10 each about 10 to 12 oz Large. so the place looks like a ghetto and they make you buy your bags but that is a small inconvenience compare to the prices youll save. same amount of groceries that cost $100 somewhere else will cost you $30 there!

Best place to shop since Aldis prices went through the roof! The meats are our favorite! You get great cuts VERY cheap! Frozen veggies and if you eat a lot of Spanish foods and fresh fruit and veggies like us, you would be amazed at some of the bill items and prices!!

They have a good selection of things you need but not everything. Prices are great but some of the employees are really nasty.

Its save a lot... need I say more. The associates are usually pretty good. I had an issue once the manager promptly fixed even though they were ridiculously busy.

Love the prices. An employee are very polite an nice. Only thing bad about it is the cart collector always begging for money.

I used the bathroom here, it was great for yhe emergency. Looked like a really nice grocery store with lots or fresh bananas right up front.

Not much variety, if you need it on the fly, i guess it would work but if your making specialty items better shop ahead of time elsewhere and not walmart,had to travel to Scranton for better foods and deals.

I walked in this store for the first time in a VERY long time and as soon as I walked through the door the smell of rotting produce hit me in the face, I tried to not let that turn me away since I was truly only stopping in for some beverages. I decided to stop and look at the meats and the beef was not any color resembling red, Im not even sure you could call any of it beef by any means. I was disgusted and decided at that point I was walking out empty handed but out if pure curiosity started walking up and down the isles...some of their brand items you can get a deal on but anything name brand is significantly priced higher than any other stores! I just cant begin to understand why anyone would shop there especially in our area when another grocery store is 2 blocks away. Better yet, I dont know how the health department hasnt shut them down.. disgusting!

Most of it is a good price plus cheaper thn any other store..

It was dead, not that many people moving around. I was able to find everything except the tylenol Tention Headache and that was the main reason to come here. But I left with quite a lot more.

Hard to rate to say the least. Lots of inexpensive food which is a huge plus. The store is not very clean. The cashiers are loud and extremely unprofessional. I was extremely offended by one of them, they felt the need to comment on everyone in the line. I wanted to shop there again because of the prices, but I never want to go there again because of how inappropriate the staff was.

Kinda hit or miss. I went to purchase a twenty-five pound box of tomatoes and they went to the back to get a fresh full box. They looked great until I took the first layer off and the second layer had one completely rotten tomato. I went elsewhere and paid a bit more as I didnt have time to sort them.

Always go here for their meat. Its good quality and cheap. I filled an entire cart with food for $100 I have a family of 6. So it helps!

A hole in the wall grocery. Frequently rotten produce. So many items are not kept in stock regularly, appearing once in a while in unpredictable patterns -- you never know if youll be able to find what they had the previous week. Moreover, common products youd expect to find at any grocery arent there. Cheap, frozen processed meat dinners make up most of the options.

Lots of good buys. Everything is good quality. I bought chicken leg quarters for .59 a lb. They were very good.

Ghetto shopping at it finest! Bought some damn good steaks there! The entertaiment there is like visiting your local Walmart on free banjo lesson night!

Some of the food is a good deal. Some is crap. Always check your receipt to make sure the price u were supposed to pay for a item is what u really paid, & that u didnt get double billed for something...both happen frequently (like almost every visit)

Dont forget your quarters. You have to rent a shopping cart not to mention you have to buy bags so I guess be prepared with back the quarters
