Absolutely incompetent sale person - Josh Catella. I sat at the dealership for four hours (somewhat expected) and wasn’t shown how to use a single feature in/on the vehicle I purchased that day “because it was a Friday at the end of the month and they were very busy”. Came off extremely rude and just making up excuses as to why his service was so terrible. He promised to have multiple cars for me to check out and had absolutely none and rushed me into purchasing the car I ended up purchasing. Good thing I liked it.They kept my car for a week after I’d bought it and had it delivered to me - none of the scratches or dents we had addressed were taken care of. Clearly customers aren’t a priority. It’s all about the money for them.Very disappointed and won’t be back.

This was the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had (I’ve had 7 cars). Every person I dealt with was extremely unresponsive. They flat out do not call back when they say they will (3 sales people, 1 sales manager, 1 person in finance, and 1 parts person). Seriously made me so angry and frustrated that I cried. They greatly over promise and under deliver. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

My most recent visit to this dealerships service department was on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. I brought my 2015 Optima hybrid in to investigate two yellow lights that lit up on my dashboard (ABS and the skidding vehicle icon right next to it). I immensely appreciate service staff still being able to fit me in, despite my oversleeping and showing up at 8:45 AM for an 8:15 AM appointment I arranged online the previous night upon noticing the two lit up warning lights.However, if I had realized that I would be charged $156.79 to be told that a low battery level activated those two lights (two days before payday, while Im still struggling to get caught up on finances after 2.5 months out of work and accepting an over 50% pay cut from my previous travel hospital lab contract in order to work again on June 1, 2021) - I would have most definitely taken the car to an auto parts store for a simple dashboard light diagnostic service instead. You live, you learn.

I had a great experience with the no pressure sales staff at Berlin City. Jason Russin was my salesman and we worked closely with sales manager Adam Rich. Both guys worked to get me the best deal possible on a pre-owned vehicle. The negotiation over price was actually painless as they did everything I needed to get the deal done, including matching the price of another dealership that was out of state. So I didn’t really care for this dealer ship, but I went back because I was asked to by the general manager. And still I struggle with this place because I feel like they say something and do another when it comes to finance and the general manager. But the only reason I would ever consider even coming back would be the sales man, Ben Perry. He is so kind warm and genuine and he’s real with you, he is super attentive and always so sweet! as long as Ben perry works there, I will continue to go back to Berlin city Kia. Josh Catella is a very informed and attentive salesperson and happily put up with my nonstop barrage of weird questions. Not only did he show me how many features on my new car worked, he followed up the next day when he remembered those he didn’t. Have an issue where the service department left handprints on the interior and they’re willing to make that right instead of pretending it isn’t their issue. I don’t normally enjoy the car buying process but I didn’t mind it this time around. Would highly recommend BCKIA for anyone looking for a new ride right now.

I purchased a Jeep from Berlin City Kia last month and could not be more impressed with salesman Bryon Carper who found out what I was looking for (after I responded to a car posting on Facebook Marketplace that didn’t end up being a match) and then he went out and found me my vehicle. This is how I thought cars salespeople worked – and how they would bring the best value to their respective dealership – but the reality is over the years of buying vehicles I have yet to find a salesperson who did just that. Especially when I was seeking a vehicle that was not a featured car brand of the dealership.After our initial online messages back and forth, Bryon texted me a couple days later advising he thinks he found a Jeep that met all my requirements and forwarded me a link to have a look. No pressure, no hyperbole, no big sales pitch…he just he did his job, his due diligence, to find me what I was looking for, and forwarded a link to me to check out and see if it looked like a vehicle that I expressed an interest in. His approach was perfect, and his demeanor was very much appreciated by this very fatigued female car buyer.As I told Bryon, it’s very intimidating for a woman to buy a vehicle by herself. No matter how educated and researched I am on the vehicle or vehicles that I’m considering (and trust me, I always have done my research and homework), my experience has always been that a woman walking into a dealership alone is a target. Every salesman I have met over the years has treated me like I know nothing about cars, or even more insulting…that I had no idea what I thought I wanted. I was 3 hr from home and had an issue late in the day. They took me in with no appt snd had me fixed up and back on the road in no time, fast and friendly

So at first everything was great. Intill I had a problem.. they dont take responsibility for anything. They make you feel bad about getting something fixed on my car. . Long story short.. my brakes fell off the back of car. Then they try to put the blame on me. For there Fxck ups.. I recommend Not having them fix your car there.. they lie an say they Never touch the car..lol. really. Then tell me there not responsible for the brake issues . It was the company before them . They but Berlin city bought the car from them. Then they sold me the car.. so who responsible for the car..? wouldnt it be Berlin city.. Cant trust them Now.. very rude customer service. After they so called fixing it.. now my car shakes when using the brakes. Now I gotta spend 600$ for parts. Im not happy about this place anymore.

However, despite my repeated attempts to get them to correct their records, they continued to address me by my fathers name, not mine. They have also refused to stop contacting me with marketing emails despite telling them several times that I would like them to stop contacting because the car they sold me was a piece of junk (a lemon, in all but the actual legal sense) and I had gotten rid of it. The second email today asking me if Id consider trading it in for a new 2021 Kia after I told them I no longer own it (addressed once again with the wrong name) has prompted this review.They successfully sold me a car and thats about all the credit I can give them. If driving off the lot in a (brand new) junk car and spending the next four years getting called the wrong name over and over and over and over is your thing, then I recommend them.

I bought a used 2010 dodge ram from them a couple years ago .They knowingly hid damage from me and the fact that it has been in an accident before. They used cheap aerosol paint to cover rust and scratches which was evident by the overspray all over the windows and door handles. Pretty obvious the salesperson just wanted a sale and wasnt concerned with the quality of the item purchased or for their personal and professional integrity. I wouldnt recommended this place if they were giving vehicles away for free. Greedy and no good(I need to add this was in 2018... the fact that the new general manager got back to my review swiftly with any concerns, i will reconsider my 1star.....best of luck Mr. Casab)

They may be an authorized onewheel dealer but once they find out youre interested in that and not a 20k+ car the communication stops. Dont worry I ordered something else online anyway. Thanks for the heads up to avoid you guys for car sales in the future.Update: the owner decided to add this nonsense (we recieved your order thank you) to appear as though they were helpful but the truth is I ordered a summerboard and ended my inquiry with BCKIA about the one wheel. I have never ordered anything from them at all. Bad service is bad enough. Sheisty liars is another thing.

I’m on my third Kia Soul from Berlin City. I had to get a new one in May because my lease was up. I was contacted by a male salesman who was very pushy in April and treated me like I knew nothing about purchasing a car. In May, Michelle Parent reached out to me and was 100% better. I went in for a visit and left with a new lease! Michelle was great and the store seemed pretty safe considering there was a pandemic going on.The Service Department is also excellent! I’ve been going here since 2013 and have never been disappointed with their service.

If I could give a review for just Service and Parts this would be a 5-star review. Ive had excellent service picking up parts and for getting service done. We are a two car household, one of which is a Kia, and we bring both cars here for routine maintenance. Ive never been once pressured for more service options at this location. They are excellent.Regarding sales, weve never purchased a car here, but weve come in for test drives and rough financing numbers a couple times and often ended up with a salesperson with something to prove. Theyre just not able to (or willing to) work with us as nearly as much as Kia dealers elsewhere.

I know there are those that are concerned about bringing a vehicle to the dealership. Berlin City in Williston, VT is different and different in the best way. Jerry, a service manager is the reason I have come back for various things my non-Kia (I have a Jeep) has needed such as oil change, inspection (did you know they are free!), new breaks and other things. Not only do I bring my car here, but I encourage everyone to come here for their car serving. Now, back to Jerry. He is an honest, kind, and caring person that will do whatever he can to get you what you need, at a great price, with an on time estimate of completion. UPDATE: I ended up speaking Dedrick Thursday evening and he was very apologetic and he made sure to make everything right! He got me in today Saturday and I received amazing customer service and was taken care of!!! They had me in and out in a little over an hour which was great because I had my two young children with me (I was expecting to be there for over two hours)I just called to schedule an oil change and 30k service and also check on the recall for my car. I got transferred to a voicemail because I had to get the vin number out of my wallet which would have took a minute or less, she told me she didn’t have the time to wait after I was on hold for almost 15 minutes, I was told she had other customers to help which I understand but she couldn’t wait less than a minute for me to get a vin number.... if I would have known I needed the vin I would have had it but I’ve never needed it schedule an oil change..... I called and left 2 voicemails for the service manager and expect to have a call returned phone call by 5pm because that was extremely unprofessional. I guess I may be driving to barre/Montpelier Kia if this is how they treat their customers.

So far its taken double the time for their free inspection of which they of course dont even pass. And the whole time you wait vulture sales reps try to agressivly sell cars without full disclosure. They also had 2 different food deliveries while we were here. A pizza for a couple and a lot of muffins???? And some guy carried a crockpot the staff ate from the whole time which was like a BBQ. Quirky and probably not recomended.

I can’t say these people are not grease balls. I’d recommend any other dealership but this one. They tried to up charge their warranty by hundreds before gradually dropping the price to get as much as they can. I feel sorry for any one that bought their “bumper to bumper” coverage based on their 1st, 2nd or 3rd quote on price.

Berlin City Kia has changed for the better! Years ago I was displeased with the service but I knew they had the best car deals around. I decided to give them another chance and it was a smart move. Their entire facility from their showroom to their service department to their staff have all been upgraded and improved. The staff are very friendly and inviting. The deals are still the best around! Ben, our sales rep was super awesome! He made sure we were accompanied even during down times waiting for approval. Ben is very knowledgeable and forthcoming. He made the buying experience easy and fun. The facility has good customer parking and if you have kids, they have a play area for them. I’m proud to be a part of the Berlin City family! I purchased a Toyota from the Gorham branch that smelled like someone was chain smoking cigarettes in the car as a professional career. I had hoped that the smell would go away but holy hell.I brought my car in to this location and Jim was very generous and helpful. He could smell the smoke smell immediately (I mean who couldnt!?) and quickly got my vehicle in for professional cleaning. Hes been very helpful. He was professional and polite.Only giving four stars due to the fact that it is Berlin Citys fault to start with that they didnt clean the car before selling it. The smell still lingers occasionally but its not as potent as before which helps. I think I can get by with some charcoal bag air purifiers.

I reviewed vehicles on this website and inquired about information. The reply took longer than I expected. Also I prefer to shop for things knowing the asking price when I am shopping instead of having to inquire.

About a week and a half ago I purchased a used Ford Explorer from Berlin City Kia. Here are my thoughts: The salesman, Nick, was courteous, friendly and professional. When I was initially negotiating for the vehicle one of the items I wanted to know about was the price Berlin City had paid for the Explorer. I was told it was Policy not to reveal that price, but when I went over the car after getting it home I found the paperwork from the previous owner. I discovered that the previous owner had purchased this vehicle for over $1500 less than what I paid for it. I examined the repair sheet that came with the vehicle and other than a fancy oil change I cant see anything that would have justified such a price increase, especially since the tires will very soon have to be replaced and all the speakers are blown. It doesnt feel like a $23k vehicle. I feel like a chump, like a meal ticket. I feel as though I overpaid for a vehicle that someone else was smart enough to haggle for. There was no reason for me to trust that I was getting a good deal, I simply had to start somewhere and try my best to not get taken advantage of. I dont feel I was treated well by your dealership. Everyone I dealt with was all smiles and happy to help me, but no one thought me of as an actual person with budget constraints of my own. I was simply a means to an end.

I had recently purchased a new KIA forte and had a great experience. Josh Maple helped me through the sales process and made it easy. Wont be coming back. After replacing a leaky axle seal (and not test driving the car & verifying their service), my fiances automatic transmission fluid started leaking while 20mi away from home. Dipstick was bone dry and the car threw two check engine codes. I spoke with Pat, the service manager, who insisted I bring the car back so they can investigate. They attributed it to a bad part and admitted their veteran tech didnt properly test drive the car & verify the repair. They did fix their mistake (+1 star), and Pat politely told me that a car with 140k miles might have some issues. Negligence, but hey, they have free inspections!

I came in simply asking for prices of Kia Souls and the salesman was very annoying and wouldnt let me get two words in on what I was looking for. I just wanted prices, he wanted to run my credit card and he wanted me to fill out some sort of paper to find that perfect car for me. I get its his job, but he did not listen to me and wouldnt give me a price range for anything. I walked out because the man didnt seem to understand I just want a price range of used Kia Soul cars and it ticked me off. Im pretty sure the guys name is Phil and I hope he knows he lost a customer because he didnt listen to a customers simple question.

I had a horrific buying experience with berlin city kia and have been trying to get off their mailing/email lists since. You can click on the unsubscribe, you can call them directly, you can file BBB complaints.....the messages just keep coming. RUN from this dealer. Not a single thing they have told me (including that theyve removed me from their mailing lists) has been true.

Just purchased a truck from Berlin and the salesperson, Marie, was awesome to work with. There was no feeling of being pushed to buy at this moment at all, just an honest sit down and talk about what I wanted to do with my trade in and purchase of the truck I wanted. She was very responsive with my info. requests over the last couple of days before the purchase and we closed the deal today. Nice group of people!

Brought my 4 Runner in multiple times to diagnose the lights that were on the dash. Id show up without warning and the shop was quick to see my vehicle and take care of my needs. Once it was determined what my vehicle needed (warranty part) they were quick to take it in, bring me to work, pick me up the following day, and send me on my way good as new! The shop team is fantastic over there. Highly recommend!

I went and saw dedric and he took care of us right away put us in a rental and kept me informed of the repair and I had my car back. The service center was quick to update my schedule with my morning was going to cause me delays. The service center was quick to update what was happening with my car, and provided accurate completion estimates. The transportation was waiting for me for the return trip to pick up my car. I was out of the service center just before the completion estimate. Everyone was very helpful, and informative as I enjoy learning about the vehicle (since vehicle hardware is not my area of specialty).

Last time I had a great experience with Berlin city. When I went yesterday it was just not a very pleasant experience at all. I felt like I was being rushed and they were trying to sell me a vehicle I just really didnt want. I didnt feel like I got the answers I wanted not did I really feel like he was listening. I will look elsewhere for a car.

This is the second time Ive dealt with Berlin City Kia and I could not be more pleased. Michael in sales was excellent to deal with and answered every question I could throw at him. I am a very hard person to deal with and he sold me a new car with ease. I wish every business was as easy to deal with as Berlin City.

I purchased my vehicle at Berlin City Burlington, the staff were great. Went above and beyond to help me get the truck I wanted.On a second note I did have to take the truck back to get a Vt state inspection because they didn’t inspect it as it came from there Nh dealership. They did inspect it with absolutely no hesitation and quickly. So far they have been great to deal with!

Anthony Goldsmith was the most helpful and patient sales rep to work with. He was really nice and insightful. I knew what I wanted and he made sure I got exactly that. Other sales reps try to force upgrades or other vehicles on you, but he never did that and I appreciate it. I will definitely be recommending Anthony to friends and family looking for a new or used vehicle.

Berlin city was good, now that it is preston kia, super disappointed.

Over 2 hours for an oil change that I had an appointment for and showed up early to. Not impressed.
