Bought a used 2015 Subaru Outback here from Vadim. Got a good deal that was fair to both parties. I have no hesitation in recommending this dealership. As in any used car purchase, you need to do your HW prior to looking at cars, bring someone along who knows how to evaluate the condition of a car (if you dont) and be willing to walk away if you can not negotiate a fair price (dont fall in love with a particular car). Always take a test drive...

Update 8/20/21: Today we drove a different vehicle off the lot that I am much more comfortable putting my son behind the wheel of. It wasnt without additional cost to us but that was expected. I may be posting this prematurely as it was only 1 hour ago that it was purchased. But with high hopes I will update because as of right now they have earned a better rating. The missing star represents the struggle of the original purchase and its return was no picnic either. My husband was able to bring Subaru back, it needed a jump more then once, then new battery and steering nearly locked up but he made it there. The annoying negotiations expected from dealerships also took from the last star.ORIGINAL Post - Sold my teenager a car on 8/16/21, 2 days ago as of right now- that has only been driven from dealer to home. We got insurance on it this morning - then around 2pm it would not start! We called the dealership and they are talking about not liking the idea of buying this vehicle back from us. Let me add that we also bought a vehicle for my stepson the same day - paid cash in full for both. As of this moment- this is the review they have earned from me. Will update as events unfold. Lets hope its for the better.

Stopped by to look at a 13000.00 truck. It had the frame spraypainted black (poorly at that) and without test driving the vehicle found some very apparent issues. When I spoke to the 1 non energetic not caring employee in the building we were informed it was to be sold ad is and they didnt plan to fix the truck to even make it road worthy. So I asked if prices dropped because of the almost 3000 in repairs needed and he lackadasically said, amd I quote, nope. Not an effort, not a care, high prices for scrap worthy vehicles. Dont go here and be surprised when your screwed over and wondering why you got a lemon.DONT GO HERE!!!!!

Of course, it’s easy to buy a new car. But what if you need to optimize your budget? We all know that a used car, if purchased right, can serve you almost as good as the new one for years and, which is great (!), for twice, thrice of even lesser money.However, used cars market is full of scams and it’s a real jungle or a stormy sea. One needs a good pilot in order not to crash your own budget against the reefs, not to be eaten up by the sharks (you know whom I mean exactly).For me such a reliable and trustworthy pilot appeared to be Williston Economy Motors. When the time is due to upgrade my Toyota Tundra, which I have just bought from the guys a couple of weeks ago (no serious problems so far), I will definitely approach Williston Economy Motors.

No pressure dealer, yet always friendly, and helpful, and prices are a couple thousand below anything I saw at the auto dealerships. When I found a vehicle that interested me, I selected a local mechanic I trust who I wanted to do a careful pre-purchase assessment of it. Due to my work schedule, it would have been very difficult for me to get it done. So the owner was thoughtful enough to suggest that he drive the vehicle to and from my mechanic. 5 stars all the way.

Bought a Honda Civic 2008 4 years ago in 2017 for $6000. It was quite reliable, and it never needed major repairs until 2021, 4 years later. So I would say it was a bargain!

Rude staff, unwilling to help. Constantly saying “check the website” instead of answer my question about the vehicle.The following day I called again on the vehicle and spoke with a sales rep. The sales rep advised me the vehicle was on the lot and for sales. I explained to the sales rep I would be driving an hour and he advised me he would have it ready. Upon arriving, the sales rep rudely advised me he sold the vehicle in the hour.

Right after I bought my car from them, the check engine light turned on. Pretty sure they cleared the code before showing me. Then yesterday (about six months after I bought) the head gasket went. Theyre just what you think of when thinking of a used car dealership.

Love you Economy Motors, bought my Ford Fusion with 3 months warranty. I am still enjoying it, and looking to get another one from here.

Also had my experience buying from Williston Economy Motors a Toyota Tundra truck, 2010, milage: (!)275.000+. When buying a vehicle with such a frightening alarm milage you are worried not to get in trouble. The guys at Williston Economy Motors assured me that I will not get in trouble, and I believed them. They never let their Customers down. Credibility and reliability of the seller sometimes is the only factor you, as the Customer, trust and rely upon. It is understood, that a used car sometimes might have minor issues. It is a permissible compromise as long as those issues are really minor. Nobody wants major issues, such as e.g., engine and/or transmission, etc. Those troubles are not acceptable and may not be justified even by notorious ‘as is’ selling formula. Good that we have such a reliable car seller as Williston Economy Motors!

Amazing dealership. Was able to buy my car the same day. I had a headlight out and they were about to fix it, same day, no charge. Needed a part for my tires, the same day I called they were already waiting for me to come and, again, gave me the part I needed, no charge. Highly recommend. I love my car, 2011 Volkswagen Jetta SEL with only 64000 miles on it, AMAZING DEAL. Really caring employees.

Unfortunately, it just got totaled from getting rear ended, so I decided to get another car for them. Incredible customer service! We purchased a car here several months ago and it has had no issues. This week, we had some complicated paperwork trouble with the DMV. After trying everything, we returned to the car dealer where Vadim went to great lengths to take care of everything for us despite having no obligation to do so. They definitely have me as a repeat customer.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The owner is a great businessman. He has a great selection and knows his market quite well. He cares about the product he puts out for sale and about his customers. I wouldnt hesitate to buy from him again.

I went to check out a car, it needed $600 worth of repairs & should never have gotten its inspection sticker. Vadim seemed nice and said he would have it repaired and then call me, he even told me it was in the shop. But then he just sold the car without even repairing it. He had me test drive another car which had a very serious shaking problem, he admitted that it needed work but he didnt want to fix it - hed rather sell cars that have considerable issues. Im extremely disappointed and feel lied to and disrespected. I know hes just trying to make money, but I wish he wouldve been up front with me instead of pretending he would repair the car.

These guys sent me more information as I asked and held the vehicle for me without money out of pocket. Was a pleasure to work with them.

If I could give this business negative stars I absolutely would because my experience was atrocious. Two years ago I set out to invest in a car that would last several years (or, at the very least, last the life of my loan; is that too much to ask?)I bought a car from this business at a price that was honestly highway robbery considering it’s now gotten to the point where I still owe an immense amount on this car, and I now have to buy a new car because it’s not financially worth it to sink more money into fixing it.In retrospect, I should have expected this to be the outcome when buying a car from a shop that can’t actually fix mechanical issues if there are any to fix: I’m certainly not going to make that mistake again.Please please please save your money and sanity and shop literally anywhere else for a car.

I Haven’t purchased a car from this dealership ( yet ) but wanted to share my experience at this dealership, Make a Long story short I purchased another car two months ago, had some work done, and the car was totaled due to the shops error, the shop took full responsibility, so I have been looking for certain car ever since, and this dealership has the Exact one I want, price is good, I have been test driving ever kind of this kind of vehicle from New York to, obv Vermont, I drove 3 hours to go test drive this certain car, guy was very nice, I even called before I drove down and told him where I was coming from, I am approved for a loan with two banks for this very carI test drive the car, it has minor issues but I’m can live with them, because it’s the best one I’ve test drove after months of searchingTalking to the Salesman about the car, eveythinf sounds good, and then he says “ sorry we don’t do our of state loans, and as I’m reading the comments, I see plenty of people buy cars from this dealership that live out of state, I have a down payment, my credit is good, I don’t understand why I wouldnt be able to purchase this vehicle I hope I can because I’m very interested And ready to buy

I test drove a Chevy Van that I was interested in buying. I noticed two items that were broken, miner issues. I wanted a extra set of Keys. a trailer hitch plug that was broken, and a broken glove box latch. I was told to go to my local credit union to get financing. The sales Manager was not very friendly I must say and was very unprofessional. When I returned to get sales agreement for the credit union, I was told he had to let me know on fixing the issues. I got a returned phone call message after I had already bought another Van at 4:00 pm Friday the following day.

We purchased a quality vehicle at an extremely reasonable price. Vadim was very helpful and we did not feel pressured at all. He made a difficult process of buying a used vehicle easy and gave both me and my wife peace of mind.

They were so helpful and nice, stopped in to test drive 2 cars and was able to buy one of them and drive it home that day! Everything went so smoothly and then a few days later the check engine light came on (just a fuel sensor nothing major) and they had me bring it in to get it fixed no problem. Positive experience buying from Williston Economy Motors. They are not a large dealership (inventory is maybe 50 vehicles) but the vehicles are in good condition the people are trustworthy. Good prices. Good service. When it comes time to buy our next vehicle, this will be the first place I look.

I say it all the time, you spot a fake salesman from a mile away. Stopped into this dump of a “dealership” today to look at a car. Some guy who barely spoke decent English came out to talk. Asked if I was looking for a car and asked what my price range was. Told him no more than $300 a month (totally doable with just about every car he has). This was then followed by “well do you have a job and good credit?” A little turned off by this I asked the history of the car. I was told it was from a guy in California who traded it for a larger vehicle. After searching the VIN I found the car was an auction vehicle with 24 miles on. It now has 2k miles on it which are not accounted for. Anyway after a little more talking he told me I would never be able to afford anything he has. I told him I’m thinking about buying new. This was then followed by him saying “have a good day” and walking back inside. NEVER will return here. Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere. I agree with another reviewer... washed up auction vehicles.

A year after buying my truck I called for recommendations on getting a good price for windshield replacement and Vadim pointed me to an affiliated shop that would come to me and do the replacement at less than half what Id been quoted elsewhere.

Typical used car sales trying to make a buck, but I will add heartless to the list of descriptive words associated with their industry. They refused to include the 30 day warranty plastered on the windows of the vehicle because they knew my bank offered a warranty. Then knowing I needed to travel 3200 miles upon purchase, lied to my face about all sales include all fresh and topped off fluids. I now have had the unpleasant experience of being stranded with small children on an unknown highway, and a now unusable truck with a $2500+ potential repair (may not be able to fix it), all as a result of the vehicle having the incorrect size oil filter (too small), wrong oil cap, and a lack of any oil change for a very long time (confirmed by 3 different repair shops) before even making my first loan payment. And my bank warranty wont cover the repair cost because it was clear and evident neglect on the part of the dealership.

Working with Vadim from the test-drive to the sales process was simple, straight forward and honest. He gave us a very fair price for our trade-in and was willing to work with us so that we could purchase the Toyota Highlander we drove from NY to look at. I told myself i would never go to a small dealership again after a bad experience at a place in NH. I had trouble finding what i wanted and finally found a car here. Vadim was excellent to work with and is probably the only small dealership i will ever buy from. My used subaru did have an issue and Vadim took care of me without hesitation. I thought I was going to be out but he truly cares that people have reliable used cars without issues.

After the usual song & dance with the local big car dealers, I decided to give these guys a try. If youre expecting a sterile showroom with lattes, colorful displays and lots of dealer shuffles, you wont find it here! However, if you just want to buy a car, hassle free and get home to enjoy your weekend, go with Williston Economy Motors. This will be our first stop next time we need a car.

I needed a car and was not looking forward to the whole car buying experience. I found an 08 Rabbit at this dealership and stopped in to look at it. I looked at it, liked it and took it to my mechanic. He found some issues with it and I let Vadim know that if the issues were fixed I would buy the car. I offered a deposit but he said to wait and he would get back in touch. When I didnt hear back the next day I assumed that the repairs were more than they wanted to spend given the very reasonable price of the car. The next morning Vadim called back and said the car is ready to go all the issues have been addressed. I went to pick it up and was expecting a battle over interest rates as I planned to finance through the dealership - the rate he got was less than I would have paid through my credit union.All in all the process was fast, easy and no pressure. I would definitely shop there again when its time for another car.

As an example, we drove from NY to look at two cars. Once we made our choice, I asked if I could have the car looked at by a mechanic at a dealership in South Burlington. He not only agreed, he drove the car himself to the mechanic so we could get back home. The car needed rear brakes, which Vadim quickly agreed to remove from the purchase price. Then, he was patient, as the work took a few days to finish because of a backup at the dealership. Finally, the actual purchase and paperwork took no longer than 20 minutes. We will keep Vadim at he top of our list for future purchases and would highly recommend Williston Economy Motors.
