I was referred to CPR by a friend when I cracked my screen a few weeks ago. I called in and was told to come in on Saturday and that it would take an hour. I waited and came back after an hour. He told me that he didnt fix it because he had nicked the battery and the battery would be in on Tuesday. I would only have to pay for a new screen because he was the one who nicked the battery. It was over a week later after I had called several times that I was able to get the battery repaired. I was then charged for the new battery even though he told me I wasnt going to be. I then found that there was a piece of paper inside the front camera lens. I had to wait until the next week to get that taken out. I left it at CPR on my lunch break. I came back to find that the front camera didnt work anymore . Now they have to order a new camera. Every time I go there, something else goes wrong with my phone. I have already paid them over half of what I paid for my phone. Definitely wont be going back. Id rather drive all the way to St. Cloud or buy a new phone.

He is extremely unorganized. I went in and talked with him about my phone repair and he said hed order it and should have it by that following Wednesday but hed call and I said that I wouldnt be able to come in until Saturday so thatd be fine. It turned Saturday and no call so I called and gave him my name and a bunch of info and he was asking me if Im this person or this person or this person, etc. and then concluded that he didnt have it bc he wrote my info on a sticky note instead of his business book so he advised me he would order it today and it would be in later in the week. Again, no call so I called that following Saturday and no one answered so I left a voicemail. Its then Wednesday and I hadnt rcvd a call back or a call in general so I call and no answer so I left a voicemail. This time he returns my call a few hours later and tells me he has it and we set up an appointment for that following Saturday. I show up and its once again are you this person or this person, etc. and did we call and say its in and who did you speak with and then he eventually found it. I expect to sit and wait and it wouldnt be that long especially considering I set an appointment. Nope, even though this is walk-in repair, he tells me its gonna be an hour and a half and unfortunately, everything I need to do involves my phone. Well I try and think how I can make everything work bc I have no choice but to go through him bc I was using insurance and thankfully I was able to figure everything out and when I showed up when he said itd be done, it was actually done. But that doesnt negate the obvious lack of organization and need for system structure. He never once really seemed to own up and take responsibility for his actions or lack thereof. It was excuses that he has many customers. This whole process took 3 weeks. I will never voluntarily use his business.

My grandma brought my ipad in around april and i got it back around 4 days later. the screen worked perfectly, (as it was broken before) but my home button was very loose, my touch id did not work until almost 2 weeks later, and i have just found out that the screen is not responsive to my apple pencil. im very upset with this because i got the ipad to draw, and now i cannot do what i planned to do with it.

Did not offer much for repair. Basically battery or broken screen repair.

This place was great! They were so friendly to me. I have a Motorola Moto Z4 phone and other places that I went to would not fix my broken screen, they acted like I had a piece of poison in my hand when I told them what phone I had.

Its been almost been two weeks and I still have not heard that my part has come in. I was told two days it would be in, and I still dobt have it. Very frustrated.

Needed a new ear piece installed not only did they fix it super fast but that wasnt the only issue just a gummed up earpiece cover not only did they go above and beyond to clean it but didnt charge me anything extra gadget guys rock! Highly recommend and will definitely be going to these guys in the future if needed.

They take forever to fix broken screens and so expensive idk how a screen can cost over 200 and take like a week to get the replace, probably a Chinese screen that cost less than 40 but they charge 200

Always had a good experience with Rollie Ghoulson. Very helpful, as a vendor. Great place to get parts for all the mainstream flagship phones. As for repair prices and time taken to get a repair done (Hes REALLY busy) it can take anywhere from 1 day to 3 days. Of you need your phone fixed, hes insured and works with Samsung, Apple, LG, and some other ones that I cant think of off the top of my head. So, if your phone needs warranty work done, hes the guy to go to

They are really nice! Ill give them that, I hate to complain and didnt intend to but the problem I went in for to get fixed didnt get fixed and started up again. My iPad mini was doing something referred to as ghosting, it had a crack on the screen before I brought it in, but the crack was there for awhile and never effected it but it started doing the stupid ghosting thing so they said all theyd have to do was replace the screen. After I got my tablet back, the screen was coming up from the tablet itself as if the glue wasnt sitting right though since Im not too entirely outgoing about problems I just shut up and kept it, since again; at that time the problem was fixed. There was also dust that was under the screen, however; since the main problem was fixed I pushed aside my irritation about having a black fuzzy piece of dust stuck there. It worked, nothing happened for awhile, until yesterday it did it a little bit. I reset it again, etc., etc., and its still doing it and getting worse. I want to write a good review, and Im not trying to be a thorn in their sides but I paid for that to be fixed; with zero complication such as dust and screen not fully down, but I had to say something and if theres a way to get this figured out please let me know!

Im disappointed that I cannot give this business less than one star. Most of the reviews on this site for them talk about how inexpensive they are for the repairs made to phones, and I have learned why, the quality of their work is exactly as low (if not lower) than their prices. I came to them to retrieve a SIM card from the SIM tray slot of a google Pixel 2. I was told when I dropped off the phone that there might be a crack on the screen when they were finished, I was expecting a single crack along the screen, or possibly a spider web starting from one of the corners. What I received when I got back was a phone where the screen did not function whatsoever, they said they would repair the phone for the cost of a new screen. Upon doing research I learned that the earliest they would possibly get the screen would be 2 months later, and they would charge me $175 for the new screen. In talking to google, the suggestion was to go through a google certified store to see the extent of the damage. When the google store ran the diagnostics, they found that Gadget Guys also broke the motherboard in addition to the screen. This is like bringing your car in to get a tire replaced, being told by the car repair shop that they also broke your axle, bringing somewhere else to get the axle replaced, and finding that they also broke the radiator, and theyll fix it but only if you pay for their mistakes while being without a car for months, because they blame you.
