Just bought a full home office (desk, hutch, bookshelf, chair) from this store and couldnt be happier with price and service. With slim pickings during the crazy times were in, Tammy was extremely helpful by calling around and finding the matching desk at a nearby store. 1) misinformation given over the phone with regards to installation2) poor customer service:Will Cochel spent more time resetting his password and looking for his supper delivery than he did helping and explaining what needed to be done3) when told that we would have to leave our computer overnight (this had not been communicated either over the phone or before he took the computer and password from us), he was visibly put out that we were not going to leave the laptop.

Super slow service. I placed an online order which was clearly printed incorrectly (I ordered a booklet and they printed individual sheets) and two employees working the printing services refused to help.

Customer service was terrible. Nobody in the store knew how to print a paper front and back. The manager walked in circles ignoring the six customers waiting for help. Youre better off visiting a library

Maybe just a bad Sunday crew, but, no one knew what a USB WiFi adapter was. The guy I talked to seemed very bothered with my question and passed me to another employee. I ended up getting it on my own. Then he wouldnt let me check out in his lane. Disappointing.

This review could really be about any Office Max. I have the same problems at all of them. There is hardly any help and when you do find it they are often serious and crabby with you. They really dont make an effort to help you and sometimes you know more they do about certain products.While the store to some degree always has stuff in stock, its prices are often higher then if you went to another place like Best Buy. On rare occasions they have a good deal. The atmosphere always feels bleak and cold inside. They should probably look at a more colorful theme for the stores.Only good things are they sometimes have things you cant find anywhere else. Which is the only reason I give it 2 stars.

I went to the Willoughby store with my mother to take advantage of the penny deals. Ive been purchasing school supplies to donate. Everything was fine. The young man that rang me out and then my mother was an awesome young man. Unfortunately i had to experience a situation between an employee (I believe his name is Phil) and a customer. She was there with a child about 12 yrs of age. The boy was in line to make a purchase and she had a separate purchase to make. Phil proceeds to make a scene that they cant purchase these items as there is a limit. She tells him the boy is making his own purchase. Phil keeps arguing out loud with the customer embarrassing her in front of everyone at the register area She tells him that the young boy doea not live with her, Phil keeps arguing. She puts everything down and leaves the store. He kept making comments. I proceeded to tell him that his actions were not right and that he has no idea if the boy lived in her house or not and he had no right to embarass a customer in that manner. Very rude and not acceptable. I left the store. The woman was in the parking lot and drove up to me. She proceeded to tell me that she was a special education teacher and was using her own money to purchase dry erasers for her classroom. I felt so bad for her. I will avoid this store in the future. There are other incidents where the employees were of no assitants. When asked for assistance they were reluctant to assist. Except for the young man that rang up my purchase. He is always willing to assist and is very pleasant. Im not sure if Phil is the manager, but if he is he needs some seriouse customer service skills training.

Went at 8pm on a Thursday, only 2 employees working. One on register and other at copy center. Long lines in both and no one on floor to answer questions. What a frustrating mess. School starts next week, everyone is school supply shopping, they should have employees on floor to direct and answer questions!
