I was very happy with this store. The fabrics were amazing! I hadnt heard of Calico, but was told about this place when I was searching for a quality fabric to use for reupholstering my dining room chairs. It wasnt in proximity to my home, as a matter of fact, it was quite a drive, but was well worth it! Their selection was more than I anticipated and I finally decided on two fabrics. Before leaving the store, I was confident with one of the two and made the purchase. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it was on sale also! Never having covered any furniture prior, I purchased more than enough and headed home. After my project was completed, I was proud of myself and thrilled with the outcome. The fabric was absolutely stunning! I highly recommend Calico in Wilmette!

If you plan to do business with Calico Corners in Wilmette, Illinois you will want to hear my story. I lost almost $500 at this store. Here’s my experience: In Sept 2018 I prepaid to have a sofa reupholstered. The reupholstered sofa was not made to original specifications as promised and had defective workmanship. I complained but Calico did not respond to my complaint untill 3 months later. Calico eventually agreed that reupholster job was completely unsatisfactory. Calico then offered the options of a sofa remake or a refund approximately $500 less than what I had paid. I wanted sofa remade as the original but the original sofa had been destroyed so it was impossible to replicate. Too bad said Calico and refused to refund the full purchase price. I learned the expensive way that Calico does not honor the guarantee displayed on its website.

Nothing here but expensive over priced fabric ... help does nothing but talk with no knowledge of how to figure what you actually need .... and this location has zero supplies!!! What a wasted trip!

I give it 1 because I cant give it 0. We paid extra for professional measurement, they messed it up and 2 months later its still not fixed despite vacuous pledges. Throughout the process weve gotten hard sells and run arounds. Save your money and go to a big box store.
