The sales people here are nice and polite, that is the reason for the second star. However, a big warning to anyone who might be considering a Sleep Number bed, you may not receive the bed you ordered on the date of delivery, even with calls, texts, and emails verifying the delivery date and time. And when Sleep Number misses the delivery, they can’t be bothered to reschedule right away… no the next available delivery date is in 3-4 weeks… this isn’t a delivery I missed, Sleep Number missed it. I’ve spent hours on the phone last night and today trying to work with them in a date, but they are unapologetic about the fact that they can’t deliver it sooner. They have the product! It was scheduled for delivery, but they changed their minds. Be forewarned!!!

The store was fine and so was the customer service there. Sleep Number corporate though has been a nightmare. We didnt like the bed that we had cause there were defects in it from the start. We asked to return it within 15 days and they told us we had to keep it for a set minimum days first. We kept it for those days and still returned it. The sales people there stated that we would be fully refunded our money and they lied. None of the payments we made on the credit card were refunded, which is fine with us as we paid for it while we had the bed. The big problem is they only did a partial refund and not a full refund on the remaining amount of the bed. They shorted us by $230 and we have been in a dispute with the credit card company and sleep number for four months now. Its been a nightmare as we shouldnt have to pay for something we do not have and they should hold up to their agreements.

This is the BEST PLACE IN TOWN to get your beds. They even follow up to see if things are good. I would not even bother with a big store. This is a small business with a big heart. This is what America was built on !!!

May I recommend not lying on their demo floor room beds too long. You will fall into a mild coma. Seriously though, the sales staff are wonderful! The beds sale there selves but the sales people definitely help and provide with comfort after making such a large purchase.

Excellent customer service from Nick! Visited the Sleep Number showroom in Wilmington NC recently to purchase bed sheets set. We couldnt remember what we had purchased before but Nick was able to pull up our purchase file. In addition to getting 25% off, it was shipped to us free.

The staff was very friendly. All questioned were answered. I was not pressured at all. I called back several times with questions and each time the staff was glad to answer. So i made a bed purchase

We have been enjoying a good nights sleep with our Sleep Number bed since 2003 and thought it was time to upgrade to a new bed as we moved to our new home in Leland, NC. We found the Mayfair, NC location and were lucky to have Karen Miller as our Sleep Consultant. Karen brought us up to date on the new technology and was both patient and informative as we slept on each of the new models with exception of the Foam model. Karen answered our questions and addressed our sleep concerns which changed in 17 years. Be prepared to discuss if you are a side or back sleeper and whether you prefer to sleep in a raised, flat, hard, soft or foam bed. Your significant other has the luxury of adapting to their own preferences and Karen addresses these needs along with which model bed would address one preference vs.the other. Karen made this experience very pleasant. We look forward to delivery of our new i10King Bed.

I live in NJ and our stores are closed. I responded to a email Karen sent me and Im glad I did. She was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I feel I got a great deal and Im anticipating the arrival of my mattress in a few weeks.

When we walked into the store we were greeted right away by Karen. She is very friendly and polite right off the bat. After a few questions back and forth between us we decided to try the mattress.....I was amazed! I have chronic pain and do not sleep well at all, I’m talking for years that I haven’t been comfortable in bed. Once Karen got me to my sleep number, I literally could have fallen asleep in the store. I cannot sleep on my back because of pain. Karen brought the bed up to 100 and had me lie on my back, very uncomfortable until she started going down, I stopped her at the sleep number we had gotten in my normal sleep position. I was shocked and amazed at how comfortable and pain free I was. Karen’s knowledge of her products was vast, she also understood what I needed individually to be comfortable. We decided to get the base that raises the head and feet as well as the weighted blanket and mattress pad. We felt no pressure to buy at all by Karen. I would recommend her to anyone who has sleep problems. She really knows her products and we had a great experience. I am counting the days till my bed arrives!

I was very please with my first experience with Sleep Number. I had uninterrupted demonstrations and education on your beds by my sales rep, Robin. She was very personable, knowledgeable and I enjoyed having her as my salesperson.

Jarrod Cox was wonderful. He was by himself in the store and he had other customers at the time, but with true Southern charm and friendliness he managed to make all of us feel welcomed and valued as customers. I was buying my second sleep number bed, as were the others. The product is truly the best out there. It is pricey but for me its worth the price you pay. I love my sleep number bed.

I have wanted a sleep number bed for a long time. I had a person named Robin who took a lot of time explaining the different beds and trying them out until I found the perfect one for me, thanks to Robin. Looking forward to its delivery and beginning to sleep on it for a good nights sleep.

My parents bought a almost ten thousand dollar bed from here, They got confirmation that it was going to be delivered today July 11th between 10-3, my mother gets a call while shes at work at noon stating that they didnt have her bed and that they couldnt find it because of one of the technicians error. My parents got rid of their old bed this morning, so now they have no bed to sleep on and sleep number is saying the earliest they can deliver the bed is in mid August!!!! So now my parents have to go buy another bed to sleep on in the meantime.

Everyone there was great and very helpful. All the associates were very knowledgeable as well.

I currently own a tempur-pedic on a base and it’s about 4 years old so I was curious about the market and replacing mine within the year the sales women came up asked me if I was in the market and I said not really just wanted to get some info I’m kind of curious, might replace mine soon ..she then continued to tell me my tempur-pedic was a closed cell foam mattress which makes them hot “ I did research before I purchased my last mattress and I know for a fact tempur-pedic is not closed cell” so she lied and as soon as I told her I’m not in the market she rolled her eyes and basically lost interest. Completely turned off from buying a sleep number and not entertained to people lying about other products to make there’s look better ....shady
