Sadly there werent any new Souls available when I went to buy one. Thankfully their certified pre-owned Souls are just like getting one new. The staff there were great, especially Brandon & Alex, and the process was quick. Ive never been able to get in and out of a dealership and not have to spend all day there to get a vehicle. Was actually an enjoyable experience. Will definitely recommend them to friends/family, and hope to work with them again in the future.

I went and got my car last Wednesday right before work and they were so helpful! As soon as I pulled up into the lot I was taken in and was able to quickly sit down with one of their associates in less than 10 minutes (regardless of it being busy). They also drove all the way from Wilmington to Southport to show me some of the cars I could choose from. They sat down with us and talked about all the policies and told which ones would be most beneficial for us, and gave us the best deals. I had a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 that was totaled and needed a new truck. I found the truck I wanted at Coastal Kia which is 300 miles from my house. I called and spoke with Steve Kramer, he was extremely helpful and very friendly. He and I hit it off due to the similarity of our names (LOL). They had a 2020 version of my old truck with low mileage. There was no haggling, they accepted my first offer immediately and the truck was DELIVERED to my house in 3 days! The service department at this location is horrible. They never have parts needed. They say they’ll call you and never do. I’ve had multiple issues and the same thing happens every time. Called corporate twice to jo avail. They never called me back either. We owe 3 Kias. Love the cars but hate the poor service. Will sell my stinger and go with Ford as soon as prices improve.

Went into Kia yesterday to lease a new K5 or Sportage. At first everyone inside seemed very pleasant and nice to work with, the manager opened the door for us and welcomed us to the sales rep Kelvin. Once we met him it went completely downhill. The sales rep was extremely rude and was trying to run our credit without even talking about logistics of the vehicle or a viewing a vehicle. Then on the test drive the salesmen was assigning slang terms to select individuals. I informed the sales manager later on and he pretty much pushed it to the side. Then wants us to come back in and work with same rep. Everyone else in there seemed to be very pleasant and better to work with. Avoid this sales rep if possible and if you cant be prepared to what he put us through.

Steve Kramer did and awesome job helping me find the forte I wanted and he always double checked his numbers as others don’t. The dealer is clean also beautiful. Lastly the staff was very helpful and very polite, thank you agin to Steve for the help, love my car 😊

Let me start off by saying Coastal Kia in Wilmington work hard for their good reviews. They genuinely care about your experience and ensuring customers were taken care of. We had a rocky start, Sebastian didnt know a thing about the vehicle we were looking at and was very curt and short with us. We had arrived knowing we wanted to leave in a new car, so it was less than ideal. That said, Steve started talking to us and knew all the ins and outs, the bells and whistles, you name it. I felt so assured that my own research had checked out and he was giving us insight that online couldnt. We DID leave with the vehicle we wanted, and Id seriously recommend Steve to anyone. My husband and I are typically the ‘private party’ type buyers because we like to avoid the car lot run around and pressure you feel from the big wig salesmen, but I can say dealing with Jason Dodd at Costal Kia was the completely opposite experience!! Jason Girolami was Fantastic! We stopped in on a whim and within an hour we walked out with a brand new Kia Carnival! I couldn’t be more pleased especially since I had my 4 year old child with me. Service was exceptional. This is my first time purchasing a Kia and the easiest process I’ve been thru. Pricing of vehicles are still extremely reasonable and they offered very fair value for my trade. I enjoyed doing business at Coastal Kia!

Monday August 23rd was my day to find a new car. I went shopping in Wilmington NC and visited three dealers on my list . The first two proved not to be what I wanted . Listening to friends and family, I went to test drive a Kia Telluride. I was greeted by Kelvin Swinston. I told him that I was looking for a Telluride. He showed me one of three he had on the lot. Brand new 2022s. Test drove it on the Interstate and local roads . This car was IT!! The buying process was so smooth and easy. No added pressure to buy or add additional dealer service options. Kelvin was very diligent and helpful to go over all the features and said after I was home with the car if I wanted to come back for a tutorial on anything that I needed help with I was welcomed. Needless to say this car, this sales professional and this dealership is great! The next day when I went to pick up the car and the other two cars were sold. Maybe I was lucky that I walked into this dealership when I did because I was told by many that the Telluride is the # 1 SUV today and very hard to obtain .Thank you Costal Kia

This review would’ve been way different and far worse back in April when I purchased my car. I’ve waited until now on purpose, because I needed to see how much Coastal Kia cares about their customers.The salesman who sold me my second-hand car was lying, over exaggerating and was completely uncaring. He was all about selling the car and getting his commission. Which is funny because I had already let him know that I’ve seen the car online, I wanted it and I’ll definitely walk out owning it. Why lie? Why willfully misrepresent it? I was going to buy it anyways.I give 4 out of 5 stars, because EVERYONE else at Coastal Kia was HELPFUL, UNDERSTANDING, CARING and LISTENING. My car was presented and sold to me as “it has no problems, we’ve performed a 164-point inspection and everything checks out fine”. Which was a lie, either no one did an inspection or they did but salesman didn’t care to inform me or inform himself of the issues the car had. All issues my car had (that I discovered in the days after sale), are listed in the checklist for the 164-point inspection (the checklist btw is uploaded on their website). All is well now, everything got fixed (as far as I know). Coastal Kia does care about their customers, I might be shopping at Coastal Kia in the future, but I’ll be extremely cautious to NOT work with same salesman and DEFINITELY not trust any salesman “promising” me a car in good shape, anyone who claims that, is probably lying to you and only cares about their commission.Thank you, Ms. Roberts, Mr. Weisman, Mr. Kelly and everyone at the Service department.

Great experience buying a car from coastal kia. Steve Kramer was great and I highly recommend him, very knowledgeable and an all around nice guy to deal with. Now I know why they are number 1.

Jason at Coastal Kia is absolutely amazing. He got me picked me out a k5 and it was love at first sight. He was extremely nice and professional. This is my third Kia that I’ve brought here.
