While I am going back in a few days, this place sells used cars too. Theyre all clean and smell lovely and the staff was actually genuine and not pushy. Tanner West was the gentleman who was helping me and I felt at ease talking with the man. Very reassuring and super helpful!And, bonus, the complimentary drinks are so cool! Theyve got a fancy coffee/hot cocoa/flavor-infused water machine that fascinated me, along with tea and anything youd need for either. Lounge area was very warm but subdued as a color scheme, which I quite enjoyed as well.All around, very worthy of those 5 stars!

OMG!!! Let me say that this place (Parkway of Wilmington) was so amazing to work with while buying my new car. I had been doing research for about a year trying to buy another vehicle but didnt know what I really wanted. As soon as I started looking at the Volvo, I reached out to the Parkway of Wilmington and met Matthew Gehen. He made my car buying experience so great and really easy. Matt was honest about everything, very respectful to me, and he showed great integrity when walking me through the process and this was huge for me. I have a hard time trusting anyone, but Matt was amazing and gained my trust as soon as I started working with him. He answered all of my questions and was was very thorough and knowledgable about each vehicle he showed me, so needless to say my mind was made up before leaving his office to purchase a vehicle. Matt walked me through the entire process, even in meeting with Ryan Phlegar, the Business Manager who went over my finance packet, thank you Ryan. I recently purchased a pre-owned 2019 S60 from that large mega used-car store down the street. I have been more than satisfied with the service department at Parkway Volvo in getting a couple warranty issues taken care of. Matt greets me by name every time I pull into the garage bay. Hopefully, in the future I wont need to be in the service department too often, but I know Ill be taken care of.

The techs I havent met but they are great also. My Volvo is always fixed right and they are always right on time. I wish there were more than 5 stars!

We had an excellent experience at Parkway. We went to Parkway and met Glenn as we were just looking around, as we had done at several other dealerships, though I had narrowed down my choices to two. The next day, we test drove at another dealership, then at Parkway with our salesperson, Tanner. We decided on the Volvo, a crossover, and had an excellent, low key, low pressure sort of experience. I feel we were treated fairly. We had done our own legwork, but the guys were very helpful in answering our questions. We love our new vehicle, as well!

I just bought a 2019 Volvo S60 from Parkway Volvo and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Every person that works there went above and beyond to ensure that we had a positive experience. Tyler Zimba was our sales person and he took the time to explain the features of the car during our test drive, but also spent about a half hour helping me get the information system all set up the way I wanted it once I bought the car. No sales pressure - just an honest effort to respond to our needs. Amazing customer service!

This is a great place to have your car serviced. If they dont have the parts in stock they will let you know when they will be in. When the work is going to take a while they schedule the service and provide a loaner vehicle. Guillermo Limon takes his time to work with you and makes sure you have no questions left.

After reviewing Volvo inventory and pricing across numerous Volvo dealers in the southeast, we drove 3.5 hours to Parkway to get the XC60 AWD we wanted at a great price. Tanner and Glenn (sales) and Ryan (finance) made for a smooth transaction and overall great afternoon. Pre-sale questions were answered promptly, but even more important, post sale questions to Tanner and Ryan have been answered with equal enthusiasm. Great people to deal with.

Weve tried to purchase cars here in the past, but always left frustrated that they didnt care about our business. Matt Gehen gave us a totally different experience. Hes very friendly, professional and knows the cars well. The only constructive criticism is that we had no idea of the vast number of features on the car and didnt know enough to ask to be familiarized with some of the most critical ones. I think the dealership should provide a list of all of the features and ask the customer which ones theyd like to learn more about before leaving. Yes, we were offered the opportunity to come back as many times as needed to learn about the car, but we got home and had some basic questions primarily because we didnt know enough initially to ask some questions.

We were totally satisfied and pleased with our first experience at Parkway Volvo in Wilmington NC. They were fully stocked with SUVs and had exactly what we both wanted. Tanner West was extremely knowledge, patient, and polite with us. This was our first Volvo purchase and we are loving our cars. I would highly recommend Parkway Volvo.

I leased a Volvo XC 60 from Volvo and was told my services would be covered... apparently only 3 are covered and the rest are my responsibility - I can deal w/ that but nobody bothered to tell me when I made my appt that I would be responsible for the costs on this one... drop my car off and am told it would be $480... I got the engine serviced for $150 and left the rest out... I was told upon pick up I needed new brakes and new rotors... lucky for me I NEVER trust a dealership and took my car elsewhere telling them to change brakes and rotors - just got the call that only 2 brake pads needed to be changed and all rotors were fine... Volvo tried to snake me for $600+ in services not needed... Rackleys is handling for $160-ish. SNAKES!

Wonderful experience which began with a couple text messages with Parkway Volvo. I told Jacob the internet person we would drive 100 miles from Myrtle Beach to Wilmington to look at a particular XC90 the next day. We discussed a time and “surprise”, the vehicle was washed and setting out front when we arrived. Tanner West was our sales representative, a very helpful and extremely knowledgeable guy. Our trade-in was appraised, the sale agreed upon and we have our first new Volvo. This was the best auto purchase we’ve ever had (we’ve had several) and I highly recommend Tanner West and Parkway Volvo.I also have to put a plug in for their great Sales Manager Glenn McIntyre and Business Manager Ryan Phlegar.

Had some work done on our car. They called and said (in addition to the other work wed had done) that the serpentine belt would need replaced. Quoted us $500 for JUST the work on the belt. Excuse me? I can buy a serpentine belt at any auto parts store for $20, so youre charging $480 for an hour to an hour and a half of labor? No thanks. Ill have my regular mechanic do it for $100.

Hit a deer carcass as we were leaving on vacation, front tire blew out. Bought my car last year from Parkway so I thought Id get help from them. All I needed was for them to check my tire and let me know if it could be repaired. Wouldnt help unless I waited 2 hours, sent me next door to the Subaru dealer, same story. No one even tried to find me any help, I live out of town. Supposed customer service that isnt up to expectations, which is what customer service is all about.
