This man exploits disabled people who are having financial difficulty. He charges well above the vehicles worth, then doesnt repair problems that show up within the first week. He is a financial predator. Do yourself a favor, and go somewhere else.Edit: Sir, this is not a mistake. Youve sold two vehicles to my husband in the past five years. The last one was overpriced (You took his vehicle with a supposed 1500 trade in, demanded a 500 down-payment, and financed 6,000 for a vehicle that has AT BEST a value of 4,700 to 5,200.) It wasnt at its best because it did not have working AC, and I am concerned about what other issues will pop up in the coming months. You should have at least made the car acceptable, but you seem fine shafting a disabled veteran. So, no, I stand by my review. He deserved better, and especially our veterans deserve better. You prey upon weakness, and this time I will let it be known.You make this right, and I will be glad to update the review.

My transmission went out on a car less than 90 days after purchase (it almost stranded me at a redlight), and that is an expensive fix on top of the price of the car. The warranty offered was only for 30 days, so the expenses are coming out of pocket. As a college student, its extremely upsetting to have such a big expense when we (my parents and I) thought we were getting a quality car. Further, when my reasonably upset mom left a review stating her upset, I was called and spoken to as if it was my fault that she was upset. It was also insinuated that she was that my mom didnt have a right to express her upset.I understand people have to run businesses and do what they can to make money, and that sometimes you cant predict what cars will do, but I was made more upset by the uninvited phone call and the way I was spoken to.

Had to do a little haggling but I got what I wanted. Good deal on a good car. Nice, friendly staff.

I bought my car from here and was thrilled with the experience from start to finish. Let me clarify my review. Me and my boyfriend had went to Wilmington Auto Sales recently to inquire about a car. However we made felt very awkward and honestly didn’t like how we was talked too. We had received excellent services from Jeff Gordon and other well known car dealerships in the area but this one was by far the worst and will never get our business. We fortunately found a good place that’s willing to work with us and have access to a lot of resources. If you don’t have good credit this place will try to scam you. Wouldn’t recommend.

Okay so we got my daughters car from here and the transmission went out less than 90 days from the sale. It is costing us over $4000 to get it replaced. We called and were told we didnt get the extended warranty. Well we werent offered one. We have purchased extended warranties before on used vehicles and would have done so again. Guess it was because it was a cash sale and dealership thought they wouldnt hear from us again. She is a college student and we feel like the dealership knew and should do something! I am going to file complaints with the state and BBB. I wish I could leave a no star review. AND go to their Facebook page and read the public response to my review. Called us names and tried to say we got robbed on the repair bill etc. And Chuck was angry at my daughter for the bad reviews.

Chuck was a true professional. Helped me get a vehicle for my wife in the late evening on a Saturday. Had what she wanted at a very, very reasonable price (compared to other lots in ILM). It was a quick painless process and we were on the road. That was 1 year ago and we have had ZERO issues with the vehicle. So after the full year I am writing the review because everything he told and sold us was straight up. Bonus, you can send the kids over to Sahara to get some food while you shop and test drive. I was having an extremely difficult time getting anything done with my credit union. I was told so much conflicting information from them, that I was at Wilmington Auto Wholesale until well past their closing. They worked with me and stood up for me to the credit union. Got a car from here 2 weeks ago and everything was great until the power windows stopped working last night and the heat went out in the car last night. Fun times espically since this is our only vehicle and I have a 21 month old son. I went to the dealership last night to let them know immediately what had happened and was told to call today so they can schedule for them to look at it in the shop since there were no mechanics in at the time. I called today and was told that we did not purchase any extra warranties and that everything was working when I left with the car. My husband was told the car came with the basic warranty, never was told there was warranty we could purchase. I was also told that the heater nor the windows were covered in the basic warranty, just the engine. I was also told that it is my responsibility to keep up with basic maintenance. Like really? We have not even had the car for 3 weeks. We just literally put all our of savings and emergency cash into the down payment for a car that has windows that wont work and a broken heater. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone and plan on letting everyone I know not to do business here cause if ur car messes up right after getting it, it will be your responsibility. Smh.
