The new location on Kirkwood hwy in Roselle Center, next to BJs makes it easier to see from road. The staff are friendly & helpful. I would recommend stopping here to look for a costume for your needs (open year round) and selection is good, prices are decent. Take a look before going anywhere else.

So happy they moved closer to the heart of Elsmere. The stores huge and has a great selection of costumes and accessories for anytime of the year.

Impeccable service and owner was so personable. It is no where near Halloween but found this store opened (fully stocked). My son needs a turtle shell for his part in a school play and, of course, told me about the shell last night 😡 . I googled and found costume cabaret Halloween. Called and they had a shell. Thank you thank you!!!

Very helpful staff and quality selections. They are open all year long which is awesome. They have a nice array of great costume makeup too. I highly recommend stopping in and giving this place your business.

Overall it was okay its good for a last-minute costume experience but if youre trying to really plan something I would recommend a different place but the workers are very nice and I am not going to put that against the score.

There was a nice selection of costumes for all ages and sizes. I was pleased with the help as well.

The prices are high. I have a 10 year old and 14 year old who wanted to do the 20s era and nothing was in their size already put together in a set/bag. We found a red dress in the clearance aisle and thought we would buy all the peices seperatley. Mind you it was in no bag or with anything else, so i asked the lady what she could sell it for. She told me more than what the price tag said! When I brought that up to her, she said well that was originally a $60 costume and walked away from me! So we walked out! They didnt even want to honor the price they had it for sale for. Ive spent a lot of money here in the past couple years. Sadly we will not be going back.

These guys were amazing! Spur of the moment trip to see if they had any Descendants costumes. They had just gotten them in and let us go through the boxes!!! Super sweet to my girls as well! Friendly, super helpful!

I Had to come to the store a couple times last month to get the kids their costumes and the manager Leah was so helpful very kind and very patient with us... Unlike the other manager who was a little short white woman she was very nasty and acted as if we were bothering her so... thank you Leah My overall experience was great because of you

Good shopping experience. Well stocked with many costumes and accessories even the day before Halloween. Nice layout and well organized. Quick checkout and great friendly service. But know that the parking lot is SMALL and you will have to go back out on Kirkwood and go into ther next business and park in their lot. Otherwise good store even for last minute pick ups.

We needed some last minute costumes for our vacation the guy here was really helpful for and put up with a lot. she need costumes this place has tons of them and Im sure the guy will be very helpful to you as well.

Did not allow strollers into the store and as a mom of young children one with a disability it was a necessity for a stroller .. was told isles were too narrow, if isles are too narrow for strollers than how would they be able to accommodate a wheel chair???!!! Complete discrimination!!!!! Disgusted with this establishment

This place has everything that you could possibly think of costume wise! I was overwhelmed by the amount of costumes that they had its kind of pricey in my opinion unless you find something on sale but one thing that I found out is they do not do any returns so if you buy something make sure its what you really want before you leave the store

Halloween year round! Convenient for when you or your child need that quick costume for school or parties throughout the year. Tons of stuff to choose from! Very friendly and helpful employees.

Been here only a few times, and while its small and not in the best shape, I have never had a bad experience, the employees who worked with me were always generous with information, ideas for costumes, and prices. Much cheaper than bigger Halloween stores, and quite honestly better quality things, most of my costume pieces have lasted a few years. Please never leave!

So many costumes! Just about anything you can think of,fitting rooms too. Cool decor. Was in there shopping a few times before Halloween with alot of my family ( kept bringing everybody). The first time I had a teenage boy and a24yr with autism it was the manager mike and a girl named liz they were so helpful. Acouple weeks before Halloween my sister an I had 5 kids in there ranging from 7yrs to 18yrs an afew of them are special needs,heather Carolyn michelle an kara were more than helpful an accommodating. Then again 3days before Halloween with my daughter and my neighbor and her 11yr old daughter who has CP and is in a wheelchair,once again liz was right there to help,it didnt matter how busy that place was (and it was very busy) every isle you went to there was someone asking if you were doing ok or can I help you? So many workers there to help, listen to your ideas and point you in the right direction ! Its hard enough when you shop with one child but when you have multiple children an special needs thats a new ball game,a great staff that really like their jobs and care for their customers. From the dinosaur out front waving to the people to the young men greeting you at the door to the workers running the floor and dressing rooms to the the sweet cashiers. A chaotic(my part) but pleasurable (thanks to staff) experience . And they are open year round! This place is definitely a keeper and hope to see the same staff next visit.

They wont do refunds only exchanges. I found a better costume that was cheaper and better online. I wont b coming back here again. Even same day transactions are no refunds. Rip off place with high prices.

I purchased army costume, tells you not to open in store, I come home and the buttons are all off and one is missing. I called the store and they said they won’t exchange . So $30 and I got sew buttons on and go find another. I would not go there again.

I would bring writing my review on YELP but this business is not on YELP. So I have to review here. I went to this business only because my son was into power rangers and I couldnt find any other place in my area that sold those costumes. Pulled up to this ran down property only to be met with a sign that says, be back at 10:45a. I looked at the sign that has the hours and they open at 10a on Saturdays. I looked at my clock and it said 10:53a. We sat and waited. A black car pulled up. A woman in her 50s full of cigarette smoke sat in the car for another 4 minutes. Another car pulled up within this time. Another customer. We waited for her and another young guy, maybe her son or grandson to get out of the car to let us in. The smoke followed her into the store. Disgusting! Went in since this was the only place that had what we needed. The price for the costume we had was marked as $44.99. I asked anyway what the price was. She said all of those costumes were $39.99. for some reason, as I turned around to ask my wife which one she wanted between the two we picked, the old lady said Ill give it to you for $29.99. Im not disappointed in the $15 discount...just would like to know Im not being scammed. Prices are soooo high and to not lose business offer me a lower price in which it should have been marked at that price in the first place. Overall experience was a disgusting confusing one. Horrible...then the only review the owner responds to is this one five star rating. Obviously the owner picked the wrong business to get into and is now suffering for his/her poor decisions. Good luck not goodluck

A bit pricey but good selection

I like the selection at this store but I would have liked it even more if the employee with his tummy hanging out of his shirt wasnt following us around and staring at us the entire time.

This is the place to go for your all year round needs. Leah makes you feel like your more than just a customer!

The employee had been smoking cigarettes inside the store and it smelled awful! I am sure the costumes did as well. There was a bottle of Pepsi filled with cigarette butts. It is also against the law to smoke inside a public place. Won’t be returning.

Nice store bring my kids a lot but older white women in her 60s was very rude and made comments that my kids where wild and out of control and asked my 4 year old what was in his pocket I spent 100s a week in this store now Im done and wont come back
