We love West End Auto! My car battery died yesterday morning and by the time I had my car jumped and running I had talked to John at West End on the phone three times and he recommended bringing it in to check it out. The battery ended up needing to be replaced, which he did in less than five minutes (and he let my 2 year-old car-loving son help him with every step of the process) and we were out the door. They are kind, personable, hard-working, and trustworthy, which is something you cant always count on at auto shops. We come here for all our auto needs! Definitely recommend!

Ralph (owner) of West End Auto Clinic could not be a nicer, more thoughtful and fair business owner. While in town on a work trip, my car battery died. Someone recommended I call West End Auto - best decision ever.Ralph drove a couple miles to jump my car, and then I followed him to the shop to get a new battery. They fit me in to their busy schedule (adding in an oil change too), did excellent work, and charged me an incredibly fair price (as a woman, I am used to repair shops trying to take advantage of me... not at West End though!). My car was ready within a couple hours, and I was back in business.Customer service is a dying art, but West End is a prime example of excellent service. I cant speak highly enough of them and cant thank them enough for helping me while I was in such a pinch - all with a smile on their faces.If I didnt live 400 miles away, theyd have all my auto business. I highly recommend them to anyone needing auto repair work in the Triad area - simply the best!

This place was great and priced competitively. Locally owned and operated -- I was checked in by the owner! The mechanic gave me a call to let me know how much a repair would be and, was really nice when I told him I would need to wait a bit and save up the funds...didnt charge me for the diagnosis. I will go back here. I like to stay local. This impressed me as an honest establishment.

Outstanding service! My daughter goes to Wake Forest U. She has had 2 problems over the last 4 months that she couldnt get back to Raleigh where I usually can diagnose / fix. Both times West End Auto talked her thru the problem and diagnosis. They were honest, straight forward, reliable and made her feel very comfortable that they were fixing what needed to be fixed. .Treated her like family.

Chose to bring my car here because of the great reviews, and Im glad I did! They were able to fix a fuel leak that several other mechanics had missed - all for a very reasonable price. Ive struggled to find an honest place here in Winston (bad experiences at the larger shops), so West End Auto Clinic will be my go-to from now on.

Ralph and the team at West End are the best auto shop that Ive ever dealt with in my life. They tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. They deal honestly and the price point has always been legitimate. I wouldnt send my business anywhere else and refer friends and family to them whenever possible.

Ive been coming here for 15 years, and in every experience I have been treated more than fairly. This last time it took a couple of tries to get my problem fixed, and they took extra time and put in extra effort to fix the problem without charging me any extra. Highly recommend.

I had never visited West End before but decided to try it out because of all of the great reviews. I needed my car checked out as it’s been not working properly for the past several months. Tried to set up an appointment with the man at the front desk to get it looked at, but he informed me that with my work schedule, there simply wouldn’t be any time. I get off at 3:00pm everyday. I told him I could be there by 3:15 and he said that would be way too late as that is around the time they begin to close up shop. I was slightly confused by that as the sign says they close at 5:30. I then went down the road to Spaugh Auto and the man set me up for a 3:15 appointment within less than a week without hesitation.If West End closes at 3:00-3:15 or even a little after that’s no issue, but I do think those early hours should be printed on their door/online rather than 5:30. A bit misleading.

We had our front struts replaced, it was approx $600 (I cant remember the price) for parts and labor. We thought it was expensive and they were ripping us off, but later our car friend said they did a really good job on the fix and we got a good price. So yay! I highly recommend this place.
