Benchmark of Winston-Salem has been extremely amazing people to work with I started out with a Saturn SUV with only $500 down and it was a beast two months later I saw a beautiful Nissan truck that I am currently paying on now And only have four months of payments until I own it free and clear With the pandemic I have missed two payments and benchmark had no problem With me making my double payment five days later so I’m assuming if you let them know what’s going on they will not cut off your car and or repo Your vehicle …I’m in the process right now of trying to link up with them To feed the hungry but haven’t got a callback I will recommend this place to anyone who is currently going through credit issues or just needs a secondary vehicle for a teenager or for themselves.

Emily was great! Helped me out while i was at work with sending pics of vehicles inside and out, all while giving me the down payment prices! No bs or sugar coating! I went the next day and got my toyota camry!! Test drove it and fell in love! I had several options to choose from!!! My down payment was $750 but check the website they have other down payment options as well! So if youre working with a small budget but want something nice and affordable go to benchmark and see emily! All the staff were kind and friendly, i just dealt with emily from the start and all the way to the end!

The best place to buy and lease a vehicle. I first got an Kia then a little over a month I saw they had an Acura I was interested in and I traded for it. The whole process is quick and easy. They mean it by NO CREDIT CHECKS. Your job is all you need to lease with them and the down payment. They have helped me out tremendously. Great people and service is spectacular!!

Only got a car here because a family member got their car here turns out he’s also having problems with these people! THEY DO NOT WORK WITH YOU AT ALL. I’m 9 months pregnant, due any day now and they turned my car off cause I couldn’t pay my car payment because I had to get everything for my baby’s arrival. They are too strict and mostly the ladies in the office, you can ask to talk to the manger and they won’t let you. It’s now been a year since Ive had my 2011 Hyundai Sonata and since I’ve got it, I’ve had to change every single light on it from headlights to the back light from the inside lights and spent more money of fixing it then the payments alone. & no this is not out of anger because we couldn’t pay the payment on time it’s the truth !! But they could at least understand that I’m about to have a newborn baby without my car even being on and couldn’t wait just 1 week until we could pay it. So wouldn’t recommend unless you know for sure your not gonna struggle one good time!

Its like they rig their cars to break down. Have had engine and transmission problems both and they love to hit the kill switch even if youre a few hours late on a payment do not reccomend

I really got a car from here bc I needed one ASAP. But KNOW THIS...if you miss a payment they will cut your car off ANYWHERE. When I got it and even now the tire pressure light stays on, but I was told dont worry about it unless it blinks them i know I need air. The 2nd day of having my car the key broke off in the ignition, they did reimburse me for having to get a locksmith though. HOWEVER, not even a month into having the car i found out there was no oil in it and it has issues keeping oil in it. So im 4 months in and have to purchase oil on the regular to keep my engine from locking. They did send me to their mechanic who just put dirty oil in it. I cant get a oil change bc no one will touch it bc it wont keep oil and they dont want to be accused. So my Check engine light stays on as well. I wouldnt recommend anyone UNLESS THEY REALLY NEEDED A CAR AND QUICK.

Before getting a car for them PLEASE read the fine print in you agreement. My car payment was paid and they left me stranded without notice. TURN AWAY unless you absolutely can’t. I REGRET putting down 15K for my car. I could’ve went to a regular dealership for 332 a month and paid the same amount for a BRAND NEW CAR.

I really appreciate Jim and the entire Benchmark of Winston Salem staff for treating me like I am more than just a customer. I am on my second car from them. When it was time for me to decide whether I wanted to keep my first car or trade it in. I was asked what car did I like or could I see myself in.. I told them and that car was on the lot a few weeks later.. I am still driving that car now. I will say this, I have only had one issue out of my first car. That next day I emailed and called them and I immediately received a call back from them. They picked up my car and had it back to my job before I got off.. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I haven’t had another issue since.... I want to say thank you to the staff for the amazing job you are doing. My car may not be brand new, but it’s brand new to me... THANK YOU!

If i could give zero stars i would. Those 3 desk ladies are TERRIBLE, and EXTREMELY unprofessional. They even tried to tell me i couldn’t get a car, until i talked to the boss there and he didn’t know why tf they said that. I think it’s because it was an hour before they got off work. Any time i call they are very rude. They are a scam. They want you to miss your payments so they can take the cars back and resell them over priced and with problems. I’ve had my car for less than a year and it’s had multiple engine problems and must i say overpriced again. They’ve had to tow my car 3 times and have left me car less for several days. Wont even let you use another for the time being. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PLACE TO GET A CAR. DO NOT GET A CAR FROM BENCHMARK. FIRE THOSE 3 DESK LADIES AND GET SOME ACTUAL CAR SALES PPL.

Do not lease from them. They are an extreme headache. If your payment is one day past due they will shut your car off. They make little to no efforts to work with their customers when it comes to making payments . Worst mistake I’ve ever made was leasing from them - it will be a relief when my lease term agreement is up.Even with COVID going on they make no effort to be understand and work with customers KNOWING that people are out of work . It’s heartless and very unprofessional. The ladies at the front desk are extremely rude . They cut my car off before due to my payment being late cause it was the weekend and I was stranded. DO NOT GET A CAR FROM THEM. They only care about money and that’s about it.

I’ve just really became a member of benchmark not to long ago and my experience has been pretty good for the most part, my car did messed up around thanksgiving and I spoke with fancy which is one of the representatives that I deal with on the regular(she is great) never had an issue with her ! She offered to get the car towed back to Winston Salem for me however I had someone else working on it or thought was capable too but she did keep in touch with me regarding the service ! Well my car never really got fix properly Which has been very STRESSFUL but Fancy and the team was still there to work it out for me, prime example of great customer service and being concerned about the customer weight off my shoulders!! I have never went in their place of business and saw a frown The atmosphere there is AWESOME 👏 and they have great cars lol

Absolutely Horrible Place!!!! They tell you one thing and they don’t stick to what they say in the beginning! I sent a lot of my church members here and almost allOf them had major problems! I would say be honest upfront that at least let’s your customers know what to expect! I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they were In desperate need and want to deal with the lies.

Do not go here do business elsewhere. If youre a second late on a payment theyll cut you off. My car broke down last year and of course the issue wasnt covered by my warranty. Very rude and unprofessional staff. I would never get a car from here ever again!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! HORRIBLE!!!! From the customer service, to the car I bought. Since the first day I sat down with them they have told me nothing but LIES!!! I bought a car and the NEXT WEEK I NEEDED ROUTERS, and BRAKES! I had to take my car for an INSPECTION the next week after that because they called me and told me it hadn’t been inspected(it was supposed to have been done before Fancy told us all the cars were inspected before) Drove around with an expired 30day tag for a WEEK! The employees are NO where near professional. I voiced my concerns about driving with an expired tag they told me that was on me. Jim is hard to get in contact with but you hear him in the back ground!! I KNOW things happen!!! BUT GO BUY A CAR ELSE WHERE!!!! WARNING‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Current customer who has never missed a payment with one year left to payoff thats finds it impossible to utilize the Warranty that sold me on purchasing a vehicle from here. 18,000 miles a year is unreasonable for someone who uses their vehicle to pay for itself. And the oil change has to be done by a replicable company but why should that matter if you have your paperworkI wouldnt recommend anyone purchase a vehicle here unless you have an attorney overlook the contact because its full of trickery and its unreasonable. It makes me think that their main objective is to repo the car and resale it. Please be aware!!

My husband had been in a bad accident that totaled are vehicle we had. He looked into the winston Salem location and let them know he had browsed online. We went in told them what we where looking at and the delivered. Everyone in the office are nice and understanding people. They take the hassle out of going to a dealership. Will continue business with them.

The owner, took my car back with out letting me know with all my items in the car, fixed the car & then sold it again to somebody else then he actually fixed his mouth to say I owe him . These people try to steal all my speakers, amps & in dash . I had to send my dad to get myself because I was in another state. They did steal all my wires, 2 brand new pairs of shoes (A pair of Jordan 13s & a pair of rebook classics with clear bottoms. I have proof that they stole my stuff. They did not know that the car had a hidden camera inside & outside the car. Please save yourself a lost . Just to add I paid my car payment on time & double up on them I have proof to anybody that wants to see. What I am saying is no lie I have proof of everything.

I love Fancy and Laura but would honestly rather ride a scooter than ever buy another car there. They will absolutely not work with you at all period. Either pay your car payment the very day it is due or they will turn your car off and leave you stranded wherever you are. Things happen in life but they absolutely DO NOT CARE. I would rather buy a car out of someones yard.

These people are borderline criminal, nothing seems to be covered by their so called warrenty, the car that was purchased has had many things go wrong and it takes what seems to be an act of Congress to get them to do anything about it. I am Reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and looking into the lemon law. They can’t keep up with their so called auto draft payments and claim late fees when the payments are set for auto draft. If I could Give them negative stars I would hands down. Also I think They are upset because I chose to use progressive for insurance because it was cheaper than the bs policy they offered.

They went from great to crappy!!!!! With the new receptionists that think they no every dang thing. U advise anyone to stay away cause car breakdown they going to put you through all hoops and planes. That warranty they got is for people that stay at home REAL TALK !!!!! STAY AWAY.......

Ima be honest Im reading the reviews and I been with them since 2018 my first car was paying on somebody hit me and total the car they gave me a replacement car the same car but better and all I had to do was give them my monthly payment Ive had my car for 2 years never had a problem with them cutting it off or taking it back they always honored my warranty on the car the one time I needed it and also remeburse me for my rental car while mines was in the shop if your gonna be late all you have to do is call them and let them know and they will work with you on payments idk again this is just my experience with them everyone is different but Ive never had a problem and would recommend based on my personal experience
