The level of care and attention at C Distinctive from both the Opticians and those assisting with frame selection and adjustments is absolutely the best. I feel welcomed, understood and very well cared for.

Victoria Coppersmith recently was my service provider at C Eyewear for my yearly visit. Prior to the in person visit for eye exam and prescription revision, Victoria and I were exchanging by email and text. My heart was set on a specific style of Rigards from Germany that are not kept in stock. As well as a pair of Jaques Marimage frames. Victoria exceeded all expectations in her exercising action hands to fulfill my wishes. The footwork provided leading up to my visit was exceptional within itself. In a time of the pandemic creating a lack of staff and service providers in many venues. Victoria was fantastic in her availability and her prompt and clear communication. Post eye exam, Victoria let none of the fine details fall by the wayside in the fitting of the new frames. I would recommend anyone to specifically request Victoria Coppersmith in their future visits with C Distinctive. Her professionalism, customer service, and presence was a breathe of fresh air. The best place I have ever been to. They really helped my two girls pick out nice stylish glasses. First time for one of the girls to have glasses. They did everything could to help this highly sensitive child fit glasses. They took the extra step to make sure they fit perfectly and perfect prescription. Everyone is super friendly and never felt like I was bothering them when my daughter would call about her glasses. Reasonably priced.

This the best eye care in town, or maybe in the state. The doctor is amazing. She spent a significant amount of time ensuring that I understood every strange thing that was happening to my eyes. This is simply the best place Ive found to buy glasses. Yes, you can go the online route, but you dont get to handle them first, and remember, you get what you pay for... Ive gotten 3 pairs of frames from them so far (go in for fourth this week!). I get compliments on them daily and Ive yet to see them on anyone else. If youre not worried about spending at least $250 on frames this is a really nice place with some very different styles then other places. The staff is very helpful, informative and will go above and beyond to find what you want. They can order additional colors or styles online or do completely custom frames from high end brands.

Love this place so much that when I moved to the beach 5 years ago, they are the only healthcare provider I did not replace! Recently lost my prescription sunglasses to the bottom of the ocean, picked up the phone and Evan was fantastic! The frames were no longer in stock, but he called the company same day and my glasses will arrive at my home in 2 weeks or less. Thanks to everyone there who makes coming to the eye doctor a joy!

I had my first visit at C. Distinctive Eyewear this week. The front desk staff was very helpful making and rescheduling my appointments, text message reminders were a BIG help! Cameron was knowledgeable and kind when doing my initial exam. Dr. Thompson was sweet and explained all of my tests to me. I didnt have to have my eyes dilated, which I hate, and measuring eye pressure didnt involve getting the puff of air in my eye. They worked with me on finding the right pair of stylish glasses which were affordable! I recommend everyone come here!

I miss this group! My insurance changed and I can’t afford to go here anymore and it bums me out so badly! Every single staff member has always been so wonderful, friendly and do EVERYTHING they can to help you get you the best deal and gives you all your options without hiding any “hidden costs.” I was really down on my luck (husband left w/o a word, cancelled insurance and cancelled CCs and cleared bank account) at the end of last year, broke my glasses and ran out of contacts. I went in with a slim hope they might be able to help me in some way. The first thing they did was come around the counter, gave me a hug and told me they were sorry and that they’ll figure something out. I’m not one to ask for help and certainly hate being emotional in public but I felt comfortable with all of them, it was safe. They didn’t let me down. I walked out of the office with enough contacts for a month, solution and a contact case all at no cost to me. Granted I’ve been a customer of theirs since the end of 2012 and swore I would never go anywhere else. I know their products can be a little pricey but man is it so worth it to be treated with compassion, empathy, warmth and understanding from the minute you walk in the door.One day when I get back on my feet I WILL be going back there.

Best Eye Care ever! I have a small face and wanted fun frames; a difficulty to fulfill combination. The C Distinctive team pulled 10 pair of frames for me to try. I get compliments all the time on the ones I chose! BUT it gets better, I brought my prescription from another place. After 2 days of trying the new glasses, I went back and C Distinctive gave me a new exam, NO CHARGE, and a new set of perfectly functioning lenses, NO CHARGE!! How can you not love that experience?

Wonderful friendly service. I stopped in on a busy Saturday afternoon with broken glasses. I explained that I was from out of town. They fixed my glasses in five minutes. My son will be attending school here in the Fall. This is where he will go if he needs glasses and/or an exam.

I have been going there for a while and I have to say they are great there. The staff is friendly and helpful and Dr. Thompson is GREAT. Yes, the prices are going to be higher on many of their frames but they sell quality products. I can run to Wal-Mart for some cheap disposable glasses if needed, but I have every pair of frames I have purchased from them and they are all still in great shape and ready to take lenses. If you fall into the buy once cry once or you get what you pay for crowd then you will like their selection. Every member of the staff has been great to work with and they have always made me feel like I am the most important patient they have. Ive never felt rushed nor have I felt pushed through the process. I couldnt imagine going anywhere else in Winston for my eye care needs.

Expensive is the only con but what glasses store front isnt cheap and offers quality glasses. love the set-up and the friendliness of the workers and they are very organized clean and professional. If they were less expensive it would be the perfect eyewear spot. Ill always get my exams here from now on but I may need to shop online for my frames to get better value.
