I had my first visit with Dr Kaluzne a couple of weeks ago, picked up my new glasses a week later. Great experience all around, Dr K and the staff are helpful and friendly. Very efficient. Beautiful office and great selection of frames. Special thank you to Jessica for helping me pick frames and fit me for the bifocals. I can now read a magazine using my glasses; I no longer have to take off my glasses and hold the magazine up close to my face. So glad I found these folks!

Been going here my whole life, first to Dr. Kaluzne Sr. and now his son. The whole staff is extremely friendly, not pushy at all (!), and I always feel valued and well-taken care of. Dr. K is a bit of a fast talker but so am I 🙂 I appreciate the efficiency! They squeezed me in for a semi-urgent matter to be seen same day, and the optician helped refit my glasses, which were rubbing behind my ear, while I waited. Dr. K has kindly met my mom on a weekend for an urgent situation or two over the years as well. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an eye doc!

Great exam! Great staff! The only uncomfortable portion, was having to wear a mask while taking the actual eye exams. Every machine fogged up! Very stressful. Other than that part, absolutely nice office and folks.

Dr. Kaluzne is great and so is all of his staff. They are all very friendly and knowledgeable! They use some of the best advanced technology to screen for early detection of glaucoma, macuIar degeneration, etc. and they also have a large selection of frames. If you are looking for an eye doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Kaluzne!

Another great experience yesterday at Kaluzne Vision Care. They have state of the art technology in a new and super clean office. I always get optimap done so no more dilation of eyes is needed with that. The entire staff is professional and very personable.

I had eye pain from hitting microwave door. My eye was very tender and hurt to move it. They were able to get me in the day I called. He prescribed eye drops that after the fourth drop things started to improve. Thank you!

After poor service at another optometrist, I needed a new eye doctor. After reading the Google reviews for Kaluzne Vision Care, I decided to try it out. I am so glad that I did because they are exceptional. I spoke to Emily a few times before my visit and each time she was personable and professional. When I arrived for my visit she was there to warmly greet me and walk me through all of the Covid protocols. Each staff member I encountered had the same care and attention to detail and each thanked me for being there. Dr. Kaluzne was amazing. I do not have experience as a patient here, but I did receive seriously outstanding service from Jessica and Emily at the front desk. I live in Durham and wanted to order a pair of Garrett Leights, and Kaluzne is the closest authorized dealer that was in-network with my insurance. I contacted them through email about getting a pair shipped to me. The staff is very responsive, organized, and when I called in to place my order the next week and my original point of contact wasnt in the office, Jessica was already up to speed on my previous inquiry. This kind of communication between staff is seriously refreshing. I also appreciated them reaching out to me via text to keep me posted on the status of my order, rather than me having to follow up repeatedly as Im used to. The process was completely seamless!

Kaluzne Vision Care is the absolute best. I can attest to that because I start out there when I was in the second grade with Dr. Kaluzne’s father (Sr.) and now his son, and I am in my later 40’s that is how long it has been. Family friendly, they care about each individual and will go out of there way for you. The best eye care that you will receive.

I havent had an eye exam in 6 years.. that was my one and only in my 51 years.. Im very weird about my eyes, as many are. But Im also diabetic and really needed to get them checked. A friend recommended this office to me, so I went. Everyone there was so kind and professional.. and the exam was a breeze!! Needless to say, from now on, I will never miss an annual due exam and I will always use Dr. Kaluzne!! I cant say enough about the Office!

My husband brought home a business card from here. So I decided to call and book an appointment for us. The ladies who work the front office were more than customer service approved but just the best at there positions. However, I didn’t have the same great experience with the person who assisted Dr. Kaluzne. She didn’t introduce herself to me, I wasn’t informed that I was taking the Octimap, and she just made me feel uncomfortable. It wasn’t for the fact that I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with the doctor and the ladies. I was happy to order new glasses while I was there.

It is always a pleasant experience from the time you enter the building. Even with the pandemic everything is still great. Not to mention the new location is fabulous. I have been a patient here for over 12 years and will keep coming back!

I had a great experience at Kaluzne Vison Care. From the front desk ladies, the assistant, and Dr. Kaluzne, all were so friendly. When I called to make an appointment, they were able to get me in quickly and Jessica was so helpful in requesting my records from my previous eye doctor. Very short waiting room time and thorough exam. Dr. Kaluzne took the time to educate me, talk through any concerns, and made some helpful recommendations.

He will answer all questions and get as technical as you want about the results of your examination. He is up to date on all the latest research. For example, he will talk with you about Lasix and explain the pros and cons for you personally. He put me in the newest B&L contacts for multifocal and astigmatism. He worked to get me the best results over multiple appointments. He is price aware and tries his best to keep your costs down. I highly recommend Dr. Kaluzne and his wonderful staff!

Great experience overall. Dr. Kaluzne was professional and thorough, and offered several options. Based on my personal preferences, occupation, etc., he ended up recommending that I keep using basic (inexpensive) readers, rather than selling me on expensive progressive glasses. That sort of patient centered care is terrific and should be the norm everywhere.

Being a new patient I was a concerned about the whole experience. However, it turned out to be fantastic. The Dr. Kaluzne, Jessica and the rest of the staff are a top notch team - very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I wish I would have known about them when I moved to the Winston Salem area three years ago. I would recommend this practice without hesitation.

Very thorough eye exam and explanation of contact options. I have been seen by Dr. Kaluzne and so have both of my sons. I feel like he takes his time and doesnt just try and rush you through to get to the next patient. He is very professional yet is easy to talk to and listens to your concerns. I have been to other eye doctors and this has not always been the case. We will be making our annual appointments at this office for quite a while!

I moved from Ohio and needed a new eye doctor so found this place accepting new patients. I have loved it! They are really quick at getting you checked in, seen, and swiftly moved through all the tests. They also offer an Optomap retinal scan, so you dont have to get your eyes dilated by eye drops and screw them up for the rest of the day! Its just a picture scan of your retina (doesnt hurt at all, just a quick light basically). I can walk out without sunglasses and drive myself away. They have a big selection of glasses and sunglasses to choose from and are very helpful in finding the right pair for you if you like. The whole staff is very friendly.

Great staff and professional team at Kaluzne Vision Care. In my limited, well-treated appointments at Kaluzne I have become a brand ambassador overnight. I already have a couple of my coworkers on an annual rotation here, and let me tell you why:-Location & Convenience: This is arguably one of the better spots in Winston as it is very central to daily routines, etc. I find it very convenient and hope they decide to stay here for years to come. Light refreshments seemed to be available in lobby (I opted to watch TV instead).-Staff & Professional Team: You will find you are in great hands here. There are options for all needs and price ranges. Staff is very courteous and caring - providing the level of care we all hope for and deserve. My questions were beyond satisfied with their knowledge and perspective. An all-around treat to talk to the front-end and back-end staff - truly delightful!-Options: Many modern frames, technology/-ies, and techniques are employed here AND traditional frames, etc. are as well. Something for everyone. For instance, I opted in for the the Optomap Dilation-Free Eye Exam opposed to the traditional eye dilation method imposed elsewhere. Choices abound.I hope my review helps you decide one way or another, but I highly recommend and will continue to do so. Cheers!

Very friendly and willing tonanswer any questions or concerns I had. Efficient and well well organized. My appointment didnt take long at all. Only critique would be that the lady who did the initial exam slow down a little. She moved a bit fast through all of the machines and walked quickly from thing to thing. I had to hurry to keep up. Also Dr. Kalunze was very knowledgeable, just talked really fast and I almost asked him to slow down a bit. Which Im sure he would of if I had. Over all good experience, Awesome prices and top of the line lenses.

They are greedy, overcharging for basic visits and always trying to upsell their products. Its not about taking care of their customers needs, but instead its about seeing how much money they can make off them. Im sorry I wasted my time and money here. I will never be back.
