Cashiers are pleasant, and the store is clean.Not the best / most expansive selection out of the ABC stores in Winston though. Recommend the store on Country Club if you want something specific.

Country Club Road is by far the best store for customer service. Next us Patterson Ave. 150 and Northwest Blvd stores have grumpy, militant workers. lol

High Point, NC ABC.(Was in one of theirs yesterday 1st,while out of town)A TRULY enormous selection.ALL their employees were very helpful.As I am not a daily, weekly or most of the time monthly consumer of Alcohol, I had never seen or heard of so many of their prominently placed choices. Those placed in the 1st or best eye-catching spots. ie the top shelves or on the end caps.While checking out they have a glass shelved checkout counter. (My local store has only a solid ?? Wood, counter.There they display new flavors in shot bottle size. I chose 3. As I personally was primarily truly needing a change. Bored and. with what normally drink.So when I returned home to Winston Salem, I 1st tried one of the new shot flavors ( meaning flavor as well as type.. Rum, Gin, Vodka...I was so instantly pleased. I went to my local store to purchase a full sized bottle. Placing everything other I had purchased away in the liquor cabinet.Store/ trip #2.At my local store, as usual...The employees were arguing as I walked through the front door. And it took a few moments before I could even ask IF and where this particular Rum could be found. NON of the 3 knew 1 even stating outright, No we dont carry that. Then, No, we dont carry anything like that...Thankfully though....As I was walking out the door, one of them yelled towards me...It may be, or something like it over there, pointing in an obscure little shelved area.Gratefully it WAS there.So, as I am NOT offered to rate each store individually for this da/trips...1st store H.P. 5 stars.2nd store W.S. 3 stars. ( Only bc it was eventually located, otherwise 1 star)

It is expensive and the area isnt the greatest. Staff is pretty on edge and if you take too long to pick out what you want they get frustrated and rush you.its probably security related but it is still unenjoyable. I drive to other states to get liquor just because the ABCs in North Carolina are in the state they are in.

Simple and great selection. I dont know what more to say about a small liquor store with helpful staff. They check everyones ID which is nice to see that they take their jobs and the law seriously. Glad that after moving here Ive found a great little gem like this.

I brought my daughter in there not realizing that the law stated but 18 to 21 year old kids couldnt come in and was told by the woman checking us out and I felt like she needed to be smarter than us or something. I just really didnt know the law and thanked her for it but felt like it could have been handled a little bit better.
