Amazing. Really. I’ve taken my car here twice now. Once for a performance modification, and once for a fully custom single exhaust. The prices these guys give, and the quality they put into their work is amazing. First job estimated $650 by every other shop, they did it for $350. Second job most people estimate $300-400 (custom piping and all), and they did it for $215! They do it quickly, and you might think “well it’s cheap and fast, can’t be good quality right?” Well, don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Great welds in my opinion, not a professional welder but I know how to tell a rushed job from quality. These guys really care about the results, putting everything exactly how I wanted it to be, careful to ask even simple questions like how far it would stick out. They wanted me to start the car to hear it, and it really made me feel like they took pride in what they do! Special thanks to Al and all the other guys who helped put this together, you guys rock! I tell everyone who asks about exhaust shops to go here before everyone else! Take your car here for any exhaust needs!! If I ever need to change my exhaust setup I’ll be back without hesitation. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Went in to Scotties muffler shop this morning after noticing two quarter sized rust spot in the muffler of my 2006 Toyota Tundra. Eddie informed me that they were busy and I may need to make an appointment for next week. He then told me to wait for a few minutes. Eddie and they other service technicians moved a vehicle that was in the bay and took me in. They went over the issues and gave me a very reasonable quote to fix the problem and in 45 minutes it was done. Im very happy with the service and pricing. If you have any muffler issues check Scotties out first.

These guys are the best. I’ll never go to another muffler shop again. They are absolutely the cheapest and are very thorough and do excellent work. And I mean excellent. NO exhaust leaks. They don’t use muffler putty like these other guys that lack the welding experience. The absolute best in Winston-Salem. Any and all exhaust work they do. Guys are super freaking nice. Oh and it’s NOT A GUN FREE zone. They welcome you. Why? Because it’s safer that way. Love these guys.don’t ever let your last thought be “if I only had my gun”.

Was charged price of full new custom exhaust to put in 2 patch pipes . 40 bucks for parts and 45 mins labor 275 which adds up to 235 labor . Then still have the leak as I’m backing car out and was lied to like I know nothing about my car I have a garag I don’t do exhaust bc of flames 🔥. Don’t use this place

Called Scotties muffler about swapping out a corvette exhaust for an aftermarket one. I have the parts. Was told sorry, they dont perform the work. So I gave 3 stars, never had a chance to use them.

They did a great job on new exhaust, made sure the sound and set up was exactly the way I wanted it. I would recommend doing business here.

Excellent experience and service! Needed a tailpipe exhaust repair on an older car to pass inspection. Called ahead and drove to the shop, they rolled it right up, diagnosed the issue, told me what it was and how to fix it. Was fixed and rolling in about 45 minutes, start to finish. Fair price. Also, clean, new shop. Could not be more pleased and relieved!

This guy is a zero, should not be let to run a business. If you want to get yelled at just because you got there, then this is the place.He yell at customers and employees! Good Good I never seen this before.Don’t lose your time, there are better muffler shops around.

Went in to have an exhaust replaced, was told they could use another exhaust system from the same model truck where they had a bunch of them left over from doing exhaust upgrades but Id have to wait three weeks and to call them back when they got moved into there new shop. I was good with that. Called back three weeks later was told they still hadnt got to their parts, called back again and was told then same thing.

Good service, friendly staff, great price, cause I shopped around and their price was the best! Would definitely recommend!

My sons car an older 2005 Ford Focus muffler was making a rattling noise. Exhaust was coming out, loudly as well when we took it to Scotties. The day we went they were super busy but, we left the car and they fit us in their schedule. By the way make sure you go early or make an appointment because they stay busy, mainly because of their good reputation.They replaced the muffler because it was rusted and had some holes as well as some piping. When we left the shop, no sooner than a few miles it started rattling in the back side of the car. My son had to go back to Wilmington that day where he goes to school, so he couldnt go back to tell them about the noise. They warranty their work and back it with their words. It was a month later when we went back, they fixed it with no questions asked, no extra charge. It was a simple hanger that was loose. I realize companies are going to make mistakes once and a while, but its the great ones that make it right when things go wrong. I usually dont post many reviews but, this one needed to be because of their good reputation they have. They back their work when so many others out there dont, amazing people who actually live by their word. Thank you guys at Scottie Muffler Shop.

I was in an accident where my car was considered totaled by the insurance company. However the only immediate repair needs was to my exhaust.I called Scottie’s to get a quote. Was told told to come on by. Got a very reasonable quote and informed they could do the work now. 30 minutes later they repaired the exhaust and matched the exhaust contours beautifully.Excellent job, great people and very reasonably priced. What else can you ask for?

I have a 2000 GMC Sierra truck and I had a kit put on at scotties mufflers. They did a great job working on my truck. They even fixed a pipe that was going to rust out. Overall if you need something done to your vehicles I would take it to scotties mufflers.

Great place! They are honest and friendly and caring. Instead of selling me a new muffler they were able to use the old one that fell off. Id recommend them to any one who needs muffler work.

My car needed an expensive fix and without it I wouldn’t have been able to drive to Charlotte to see my family for thanksgiving. So, the owner hooked me up with a very reasonable and affordable deal and had my car driving within 3 hours of dropping it off so I could safely drive to visit my family. I’m very grateful I was referred to them. Everyone is very personable, honest and patient in explaining everything to you. I will definitely be recommending them to others and will be back myself if need be. I’d give 10 stars if I could!

Professional, honest, friendly and very reasonably priced service. They had my car up on the lift within minutes of my unscheduled arrival. Problem appeared to be a cracked pipe at the back of the muffler. I was quoted a very reasonable price to fix it. I went back the next day to have the work done. Once the muffler was removed, they showed it to me, and it was clear that all of its inside parts were rusted into pieces, which was something that couldnt be seen without removing it. So, the muffler also needed to be replaced. Panic! How much will this cost? Only $50 more. My total bill was just $154.00 and the work was done while I waited. Having researched this kind of repair online beforehand, I know this could have been a lot more expensive, and that the guys at Scotties could have sold me a much more expensive muffler. I would not have known I didnt need the more expensive one. Instead they sold me a muffler that works perfectly for my car and did not cost a small fortune. I cant say enough goods things about my experience with the shop. I highly recommend them!

I went into Scotties muffler today with an issue with my muffler on my GMC. Not one... But all of the guys were so nice and helpful and explained and showed me what the problem was. I was on my way to work and Id swear I was in and out less that 15-20 min !!!!Their prices are great and so are the people. I went he looked and said yepHe said about 2 hours. They did it in 90 minutes. My muffler was in the trunk. When I left new pipes, new hangers my old still good muffler. They were the way I like. Look, Fix, I pay. Im very happy. I can complain about anything, but,Nothing to cry about here.

1/18/2019 So Im back at Scotties getting performance mufflers/cheaper version of Flowmaster 10s put on, I didnt buy them offset so it made it challenging to put on, they brainstormed and worked everything out and got me running. After picking my son up from school I heard a noise that sounded like silverware in your garbage disposal and it was annoying. I left a message online so i could come back Monday to get it looked at because they were closed on the weekends.Jimmys wife emails me then he calls, long story short he came up to the shop when they were closed on a Saturday, found the problem. In 5 minutes I was in and out. He didnt have to do that but he did. That kind of service makes customers for life.Great service. They were quick, professional and the price was reasonable. I had my mid-mufflers deleted on my 2013 Dodge charger. I was in and out in 20 minutes.

Excellent fast service. Was in and out in 15 minutes getting resonators installed on my Mustang. Super nice and knowledgeable guys. Highly recommend them.

Their website says they are a COMPLETE exhaust shop but they DO NOT work headers based on whoever answers the phone. So beware when they say *COMPLETE.

Just left Scotties muffler shop. These guys are top notch. I replaced my factory exhaust with a Borla exhaust. Sounds amazing and they were the cheapest around. Ill definitely be a repeat customer!

I had less than an ideal experience with a simple repair on a muffler hanger. A universal muffler hanger was attached to the underside of the body and welded to the tailpipe. Its not the factory part. It causes vibration throughout the car. After returning to have the repair made right they put the car on the lift. They said theyd made many repairs the same way and never had any problems. They backed the car out of the bay and walked away. I wont return to or recommend Scotties Muffler.

At this very moment, I am at Scotties. I needed my flex pipe replaced.I only waited 5 minutes before they started working on my car. I already got my estimate which is a reasonable price. Liking these guys in a major way. I wish they could fix the rest of my car.

Scotties gave me the best customer service and best price on replacing my catalytic converter and flex pipe. Eddie drove me home, and picked me up the next day. My car sounds brand new again!!!

Customer service 10 out of 10 but I paid 300 to get a 2 things taken off my exhaust and I had it for about 2 months when I decided to get it less loud so I brought it back and paid another 150 to get it to sounds stock so In all I paid 450 on an exhaust that sound stock when I could’ve just got a magna flow or just bigger brands for a little bit more

I have had them do exhaust work on 2 vehicles I have owned, a 2014 Lancer Ralliart and a 2005 Eclipse, both times they have done nice work. On the Lancer their outcome had a stock look but a better than stock sound. I would take any vehicle to them for exhaust work.

I received excellent service here! I was quoted a reasonable price and charged exactly what I was quoted. Only took about 45 minutes to replace catalytic converter and muffler.

Went here today. They inserted a section of pipe and welded it to the straight pipe where it connects to the catalytic converter. In and out in less than 30 minutes. Fix was affordable.

They gave me 1 year warranty on some catalytic converters there that I got about 8 months ago, spent almost 600 dollars for some cheap ass cats there, which went bad, I got my car checked many places and told me I needed catalytics converters. When I went to Scotties they kept trying to convince me it was something else. The guy there was very rude. Especially in front of my kid. Will never go there again or recommend this place to anyone.

Went to get exaust leaks fixed. The quoted to replace a section and get rid of all clamps. 1 week later heard exaust leak took it back they found it they said next day another exaust leak. Nice guys but if i pay to fix something i want it done right not taking it back whixh is a waste of my time and there is still a problem. Not using these guys and wouldnt refer them

Went two years ago to have exhaust from from to back. Exhaust has had problems since day one and didnt install two exhaust mounts and has now messed up he catalytic converter and problems all over. Was cussed out the door door SO neve take your vehicle there because they will not own up to their mistakes and will cuss you right out the door!!!Worst business ever

Dropped in unannounced to get a quote for a catalytic converter. They instead informed me that it didnt need one and welded up a leaky pipe for me while I waited.
