Worked for 2 days. Got let go cause of someone else’s lack of experience. The shop is run down. They over tighten filters and drain plugs. Half the lifts dont work properly. Your better take your car to a friend than here. Highly unprofessional work. They upsell rotors when people need brakes when a rotor can be resurfaced for half the cost and be brand new.

The $17.95 basic oil change special that they run from time to time is not what you might expect. For me, it was $26.44. Extras included a $2 oil disposal fee, a $4.95 extra charge for an oil cartridge filter (even though the oil filter was supposed to be included in the basic oil change service), and $2 for shop supplies, and of course $1.54 for tax. I dont understand why I was charged for the oil cartridge filter or what shop supplies are necessary for a basic oil charge...they should at least be included in the basic oil change cost special rate and not as an extra charge thats included in everyones final bill.Also, they asked if I wanted my tires rotated. I asked if that was included in the basic oil change services. They said no, that it would cost extra. I declined. According to the Meineke website, all oil change packages include tire rotation.

I had the most amazing experience here. The woman at the front desk was kind, overly helpful to the point where she was helping me look up options for my windshield wipers to make sure I was getting the best price. They then price matched me, filled my wiper fluid for free, changes my oil, honored the Groupon with no hidden fees, the entire thing was done in 45 minutes.Also, as a young woman there alone I loved that they didnt try to push unnecessary purchases on me and when I declined something they respected it and said they would honor the discount if I came back. (which now I will, thank you so much guys)

My previous comment was deleted. I want to bring awareness that this shop will try to mis-charge you on purpose! The first time I went to them they told me my air filter was missing and I needed to purchase a new one, why would I take my own air filter out let alone Idk how to operate on cars? I ended up making them replace me with a new one of no charge. Secondly, I was told I needed new tire struts, and if I didn’t get them my car would be in jeopardy! I got a second opinion and all I needed was a alignment and 2 new tires. If I wouldn’t have gotten a second opinion I would have spent 1k plus for a replacement! Bottom line this placelacks morals, values, honesty and respect towards customers. They will tell you things are broken that they broke then try to get you to pay for it! Not to mention we are on the middle of a pandemic! Horrible place!

First impression failed.Called to inquire about a quote for a tire rotation mail coupon I received in the mail. Isabele answered the phone and asked me to be put on a brief hold.10minutes later someone hung up on me at which point I had to call again.I told Isabele it was the same customer she had put on hold and that someone had disconnected the line and she did not even apologize.Maybe they don’t need customers but ai for sure don’t want to go to a place where they cannot even apologize for a simple thing.Imagine when they mess up with your car service.They will not take responsibility and say, ‘ok’, as in whatever, what do you want me to do?

Honestly, they always try to help me get a good price and they don’t pressure you to do ten different things to your car, they just inform you for your knowing. And I love their loyalty rewards point system! I’ve been going here mainly for about 2 years and I love it.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Service is fast and reliable, and the office has AC and TVs if you want to wait on your car to be finished. They only fix what you ask them to, unlike other shops finding imaginary problems to keep your car longer or gouge you for money. Honest, trustworthy, high quality work! Definitely wont be taking my car to any other shop until I move again!!

Nice enviornment. Courteous staff. Fast service. Free coffee and TV to watch while having services done. There is a restroom right in the waiting lobby. Close to shopping area and food. Inspection of vehicle is explained in detail without feeling like you have to buy anything. Just a very courteous inspection for you to know what your car needs. Not what they want you to need, but what your car really does need. They do their jobs and are a very good place to go. I highly recommend Meineke. I had a free tire rotation with my oil change.

I usually go there to get my oil change, good service, decent prices and if you have an appointment it can be really fast. Yesterday I went there to get oil change and 5 minutes after they were working on it, the cashier told me that the oil drain plug was too tight and if they keep trying they can either break the plug or break the oil pan. I told him that my previous oil change was there, same place, same location. He told me that it was a lot of time ago, and the only option was replacing the plug and that if they break the pan I have to pay for it. There was no manager or supervisor to talk about. I have the receipt from my last oil change. Thats a really nice way to get money. They break your car and then they charge you to fix it. Great meineke

My husband filed a case with Meineke and the BBB after Meineke damaged my car. Meineke replied to his review saying they take it seriously. They did absolutely nothing to help. They also blatantly lied to the BBB. Since he is not able to comment to their reply I am posting this. I want to add that I am pregnant and driving this vehicle. If it breaks down while I drive, we will have a bigger problem on our hands.

I like the staff and the mechanics. It is a great place to have your car repaired. They do brakes suspension oil changes pretty much anything. They changed my brake system today the rotors and the pads all for half of what Tire Kingdom quoted me. Also I am making an appointment to have my shocks done in the front end of my Mercedes. They are charging me less than half of what Tire Kingdom was going to charge me.

Like the previous review stated, they brake your car and charge you extra to fix it. They scratched my wheels while doing just regular tire rotation. When I complained to a manager he said its not their fault and it was PROBABLY done somewhere else. Sooner or later they will make your car look like a junk and will ask you to pay for it as if they did some great job. And yeah customer service will not help you, they just reply to comments with some generic reply to show they CARE about you but they dont. Believe me, I called them. They sounded like script robots and never replied back. Good luck with Meineke!

Horrific. I won’t be back. I come in for a simple oil change and got pushed, for hours, aggressively, to buy hundreds of dollars of completely unnecessary parts. They even threatened to not change my oil unless I bought their parts. Then, my hubcap fell off later that same day because they didn’t properly put the tires back on after they rotated them. Worst experience ever.

My experience with the Meineke located on universal Blvd was by far the best experience Ive ever had at a mechanic shop. The store manager (Alan) is one of the most courteous, professional, honest and intelligent individuals Ive ever met. He is the exact​ representation of a true professional. The staff (mechanics) he has are an awesome crew of guys. I brought in a f150 with an overhead cam 5.4 motor, which needed to be rebuilt and they did and outstanding job. That particular motor is a very difficult motor to work on and requires a very knowledgeable mechanic to fix. These guys are true surgeons at what they do. Thank you so much for all the help. Will forever have my business.

Let me tell you this. If you want your car fixed and done right right. These are the guys that will help you. They explain everything that goes on with your vehicle and they treat you like family. Jose has a calming effect on you. He explains everything. Felix is an awesome mechanic. I will never take my vehicle anywhere else to work on again.

Excellent service, some of the best multi-tasking Ive seen from anyone. It was clear that he was very busy when we came in to have our car damage looked at, but he was still very courteous, efficient, and quick. He never lost his train of thought, even when switching between cars or customers. He figured out that there was no real damage and that the leak we saw was just A/C condensation at a glance. Definitely recommend coming here, some of the best service Ive ever had.

Very nice and friendly service, although they did not actually do everything in the complete oil change. I watched every step and the core items were do very well. I got the check list back with every item check off as good, even item never checked. Best example reported 61PSI on the spare tire, my car does not have a spare just the pump and sealent.

Liars and Crooks - Came here for an oil change and they say that my oil drip is damaged and leaking. It was not leaking until I came here. They damaged it while unscrewing and expect me to pay $200+ for their mistakes. Reporting these thieves to the Better Business Bureau.

I arrived in my pajamas because most oil changes allow for contactless options. I was caught off guard by having to go into office rather than sitting in the car. Ill be going back to valvoline for future oil changes

Courteous and prompt service with suggestions based on inspection or so I thought. I went to my regular mechanic for a second opinion only to find out that the suggestions from Meineke were bogus (probably motivated by a desire to earn more commissions)

Made an appt bc I was told the oil change takes 45 min, I arrive 15 minutes filled out paperwork, my appointment is at 12, I told the lady what package I wanted which included oil change, filter and tire rotation. I’m sitting waiting it’s 15 minutes past my appointment, she says your car needs an 6th quart of oil so it’s $12 more, she then comes back and says I need a different filter and it’s $7 more, I’ve had my car for over 3 years and I have my oil changed every 3000 miles, I’ve always paid for an oil change package and not charge extra for filters etc, that’s included in my package. It’s 1245 and my car isn’t even on the lift yet. They give me some excuse that it’s busy, then what’s the point in having an appointment and on top of it they upcharge u for every little thing. The package says oil and filter included!!!!

I brought my car here because of the stellar reviews. It was easy to make an appointment online and the employees were very nice when we dropped our car off. We were getting an oil change and new wiper blades. We dropped it off 30 min before our scheduled appointment (1 PM). It was busy so we knew it wouldnt get in until the scheduled time. We were told someone would call when it was ready for pick up. By 2:30 PM (an hour and a half after our scheduled appointment), we had still not received a call that our car was ready. We called and we were told it would be another 30 min before the car was ready, and again, that they would call when they were finished. Finally, at 4:00 PM, three hours after our scheduled appointment, we just went to the garage.Our car was serviced, the people were nice, and overall it was not a bad experience. However, it was very unprofessional and inconvenient that our car, which was supposed to be serviced at 1 PM, was not done for 3 hours. Especially after we dropped it off a half hour early. I would recommend you stay at the garage while they service your car to make sure you are not waiting all day long for a simple oil change and new wiper blades.

Couldnt take off my tire and replace with my donut spare tire. But thats ok but the real issue was having to pay $20.00 for it.

Very disappointing service charged 50 dollars for diagnostics I could have gotten for free at an auto parts dealer. The man at the counter was very rude and constantly distant and at times ignored questions. Wouldn’t recommend when there are numerous cheaper places with infinitely better service.

Friendly service. I like that they test drive the car themselves to get a feel of what is going on. I went in because my car was lagging so I got a tune up. Its still lagging so I guess that was not the issue after all.

These guys cant do a simple job like tire rotation without causing a damage to your car. They scratched my Acura wheels and when I pointed that out they stated that the damage was done somewhere else. They scratched all wheels by removing the bolts. Take pictures before allowing them to work on your car or do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

The service was good, but pricey without a groupon. There was a wait and it did take longer than I anticipated to get an oil change. I did appreciate it when they asked me to open my hood because they were afraid of damaging it. Thank you for letting me help.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE service. Purchased a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation. I was charged extra ($25.95) for an oil filter because my car is an import sedan (not a truck or SUV, which their disclosure is all they list would be an extra fee). They also denied my tire rotation because they said my 2 front tires are too worn to put in the back. All 4 have equal wear. Meineke corporate refused to help so did Groupon. The place is a scam. Dont purchase service there through Groupon. I would give them a negative star, but that isnt an option.

Worst first experience ever. And only thanks to the employee who was at the registered. Says he’s always at the register. One I advised him over the phone I’m new that I am 30 mins away (which was 11am today 08/31/19). He advices me to not wait to get an appt. Which I agreed because I told him I’m restricted on time. I arrived there and the techs all 3 of them. I will not mention no name are sitting down Emily lot no cars. I wan un and I speak to the register employee and I tell him I also have a Groupon voucher. He rings it up. Redeems it. And the. He tells me it will be 45 mins. I asked if there was anyone before me he said no. So why the long wait of an estimated 45 mins. I advised him I’m not requesting other maintenance check just the norm of a oil change. He said no that’s policy it’s 45 mins wait. I asked if he knew I was lacking on time since I had other arraignments going on why he wouldn’t just tell me since at entering he made me fill out a new customer form. He said hey were not like other quick oil change places. I told him I know every shop is different but that he should have told me how the wait will be (even they had no vehicles serviced in the oil change and three tech just hanging outside on the deck just chatting away). One tech enters and he rudely says to the tech after 5mins of us talking that we were arguing for 15 mins and that “his car would have been done by now”. I told him sir. That’s unnecessary to say and we’re werent arguing I was just asking questions ( which it’s only right to inform new customers that no matter if they have no cars being service that it will still be a 45 min wait before the car is serviced). But I bought the voucher and I won’t ever be going back there. I’ll rather lose $45 through Groupon then dealing with rude uninformative short tempered technicians (only the Spanish employee at the register). No wonder it was a cheap oil change of $45 for synthetic. I’ll prefer customer service over anything. Will not be coming back thanks to him. Meineke. This shop really knows there stuff and cares. I went to another shop for maintenance to have the timing belt replaced and came out with a car that was running worse. This shop found the problem and fixed the timing and got the AC running again! They didnt discredit my concerns or try and sell me more services. They were honest and the manager Jose has given me faith that there are still good shops out there who will do the right thing. My car now runs better than it did originally and I am a customer for life. I dont normally write reviews but this shop deserves recognition for thier great work.

Went here for an oil change waited over 2 hours and they weren’t even busy, the front desk girl had an attitude and I was late too work Great Morning!

I brought a friends Ford Pickup truck to be worked on in order to attempt to get the mufflers and tail pipes satisfactorily installed! This was the fourth attempt to have the work done as the pipe hanger welds continued to NOT stay attached in the position he wanted. This Ford is a brand new Special Harley Davidson Edition and you and I know it should be done right, no matter. Well the installer with whom, I not knowing Spanish, I couldnt directly communicate with him, so I had to inform the sales guy what my friend wanted. What I couldnt understand was how they could not just see how terrible of a misaligned job had been done without me showing them. Never the less they attempted to line things up however by the time I brought the truck back to my friend, the hangers were out of alignment again. We both figured that either they didnt know how to weld or that they were i9ncompetent, either way, we decided NEVER to go back to this shop again and inform everyone of the quality of their work!

Had an 8:00AM appointment so I can get an oil change before work. The tech arrived late, and they didnt see my car until 8:20AM. It took 1 hour to do an oil change when I was the first appointment of the day. Received my car at 9:25AM. Dont come to this Meineke if you have places to be.
