I specifically want to thank Joe and Edwin Ortiz for their professionalism. Joe was able to do amazing footwork with finding the right parts for my vehicle within my budget. Edwin worked tirelessly on my vehicle and didnt let me drive it away without the finishing inspection to make sure the exhaust system was top notch. I brought my car in a mess. It left the shop purring like a kitten. Heroes are not just fighting overseas. I found two of them in Woonsocket RI @ Monro Auto Service Will I be back, yes! Absolutely perfect! Call to make an inspection appointment. He said Come right down and we will do it now. The soonest appointment I had been able to get was 2 weeks later. The gentleman, (And I do mean gentleman as he held the door for the woman effort me as she left!)also informed another customer that he still had a few months left on his sticker when the guy thought he HAD to get one one because he had just bought the car. VERY IMPRESSED!! Oh and I got my sticker too😁

Had an appointment for an oil change. They told me it’d be a 3 hours wait! What’s the point of having an appointment then? This place has gone so far down hill. The worst thing they did was let Mike, the old manager, walk out that door. I’m going to find out where he’s at so I can go see him. I know he’ll take care of my car! This place sucks!

Had only a pleasant experience with them. The manager is very professional and experienced. He explains in details all the the actions they about to take and the reasons for parts replacements and further recommendations. Indeed, it may be difficult to pass an inspection here due to very attentive process of inspection. Safety is priority!

My vintage vehicle will be serviced elsewhere... What do you people expect from a Woonsocket mechanic anyway? The city is disgusting.

Very professional and pleasant. In an out with 4 new tires in 1:15. No appointment and cheaper than the other guys for same tires.

They were very busy but managed to get me in thier schedule the same week I needed service to my vehicle. Prompt service and accommodating.

My exhaust shield was loose and there has been metal scaping sound coming from the bottom on the engine side. The main mechanic checked my car and raised it and installed a clamp to tighten it up. He didnt ask me for any payment although I thought I gotta be charged two hundred bucks before I got in the store. I couldnt be happier. And Ill bring some dog treats for the mechanics pitbull pups, as a small token for my gratitude.

The Monro location in Woonsocket that is overseen by Mike is very well operated. Alongside him, mechanic Omar does excellent work especially on the welds. Highly recommend. Very proactive and will show you exactly what part needs replacement. Very honest, no up sell or side charges. Very fast and professional especially considering how busy they were. Mike checked a probable transmission problem w/my jeep; fluid was LOW. He filled the (whatever u call it!); Monro doesnt work on transmissions so Mike gave me the name of a local transmission shop & some sound advice about the problem. Monro Auto in Woonsocket is dependable. Thank you Mike!

I wish there was a way to give more than a 5 star rating... I dropped of my truck to have a missing tailpipe repaired and it turned into a 1 stop shop! Muffler, tailpipe, bearing, control arm, oil change, AND an inspection! Mike was very professional, and shows that he genuinely cares about his customers. Omar was swift and efficient. Mike did a great job of explaining what needed to be done, tire rotation, alignment, filter replacement, etc. Omar serviced the car and it drives smoothly. I am very pleased to say I had a GREAT experience at Monroe today this was the first time I had ever been there Mike was extremely nice and took care of me right away considering I didn’t have an appointment. My car was taken in put on the lift and the problem was found I also was shown the problem before it was fixed so that to me is a 2 thumbs up..👍🏻 I highly recommend anybody that needs their car fixed to go there by far the Best service I have gotten in along time Thank you guys I will definitely go back

I come here regularly for my oil change and the boss is great; he greets me by name every time. If there are issues with the car, he lets me know, but doesnt make me feel pressured to fix everything right then and there or even with him at all. Very fast service also. Never leaves me waiting when its my appointment time.

I found out about Mike (Manager) through my young daughter who was getting an oil change. She also hired a locksmith to come there, make a remote key and ended up braking something during the process. He then tried charging my daughter for his mistake. Mike overheard her being taken advantage of and called out the locksmith. He ended up saving her $150! Since then several family members including myself have had professional, efficient service and very fair pricing! Call Mike he is the best!!

I had my brake pads and rotors replaced a few months back (at $300 less than what I was quoted at the dealer). I had some issues with a squealing noise start a few months later. Mike offered for me to bring it in and hed take a look. It took a few trips and a few different tries, but he ended up replacing all my pads with premium parts due to a defect- at no cost to me. He was courteous, accommodating and was great at keeping me informed while I was waiting as to where they were in the process. I really appreciate the dedication he put into making sure my issue was resolved.

The new manager, Mike, is amazing. He was so friendly and funny when I came in to have my oil changed. My mechanic recently went out of business and I had no idea where I would go. Told me he would check out my car top to bottom free of charge, most places it’s $75 or more just to look at it, plus an hourly charge for labor!!!! Flat rate for labor might be a little more expensive but in the long run will save you so much more money than an independent mechanic. The reviews from over a year ago are irrelevant with new ownership.

I brought in my vehicle several months back because it was leaking coolant and the engine light was on. I was told there was a seam leak in the radiator. It was also suggested to me to have the spark plugs changed and a belt replaced. Unfortunately I didnt have the money at the time to have the work done. When I finally was able to have the repairs done I went with the paper from the mechanic with the suggested repairs. Upon this general inspection they claimed to have found no leak in the radiator. They did find a leak in the fuel pump and replaced that as well as as spark plug that the computer said was misfiring. There was no mention of a belt that needed replacing. I brought my vehicle home and the following morning there was a puddle of coolant under it and the engine light was back on. I wont e bringing it back. I will seek another mechanic.

I think I may have found my new go to garage..reasonable prices..they go out of their,way to check things for you to be sure of what issue is...even took my car for test drives,when complained about noise I kept hearing..but they didnt..let me tell you..a lot of garages would have taken advantage of that and told you something when it was nothing..their honest!..thats,what keeps me coming back..ive dealt with too many con artist garages like Midas..no more..Mike is,always friendly and helps me in EVERY way and always fits me in..even last minute real hard worker... he deserves,a big raise!!..very friendly staff..great help..and cant beat their hrs open..even on Sundays!Will keep going there..love you guys!thanks for your honesty ..ill spread the word....Sandy..Red Honda Civic girl..😊
