So apparently he doesnt have time to provide me a quote and he wants me to bring the car in (which isnt drivable, so Id have to tow it) to have it quoted. Ive already gotten the car diagnosed, I just needed to know how much it would cost to fix and apparently Mr Friendly Automotive doesnt have time to provide service to me. 👍

I was told my car would be done Tuesday, it was not, I gave them until Friday, I called at 1 PM Friday because I had not heard from them. They said they were finishing up and it would be ready soon and they would call me as soon as it was ready. They called me Friday at 4:55 to tell me my car was ready and I could pick it up but they closed at 5. Since they had my car and I live quite a way away there was no way I could make it there in 5 minutes.I have known the owner over 20 years, I went there thinking I would get treated fairly. I spent $1800.00 on repairs and when I went to pick up my vehicle up, I was told by the store manager that I now had an amp (charging) problem and my car would not run. I had heard nothing of this the whole week they had my car and they told me nothing about it until I showed up. I told the manager I was not giving him anymore money. He then told me he would try to get it started so I could get it home, but it would not start after that because the new battery was not staying charged. I called the owner and let him know to which he then started giving me the you know it’s an old car and sometimes.... I stopped him right there and told him I was not giving him another dime and that I was really upset that he would try to take advantage of me. He said he would look into it. After 20 minutes of standing in the waiting room without anyone talking to me, I called the owner back again and wanted to know why no one was doing or telling me anything and I had my kids in the car waiting. He told me to just go home and they would call me. Several hours later I get the call that it was actually their error, the mechanic was leaving the ignition on in my car and it was draining the battery. I had to buy a new battery at the beginning of the repairs because mine was mysteriously dead. Now I had started it just fine the morning before I brought it in for repairs. I asked if it was possible, they had killed my battery causing me to have to buy a new one through them at the tune of almost $200.00 which they were sure it was not. I also was told that I would get a discount on labor (prior to the not starting incident) because most of the work overlapped (replacing several hoses on the radiator ect) and could be done at the same time they charged me individually for each item and labor. The “break” I got on the labor charge was $15.00.

Ever had something small wrong with your car and you took it to a mechanic and get it fixed, but when you get the car back all of SUDDEN there’s more things wrong with your car when you drive it home. You say to yourself, “did they loosen something on my car or is there a leak in the coolant hose? WELL THIS IS THE PLACE. I moved to the area and didn’t know many mechanic places so I gave this one a try. Boy was that a mistake. I drop off my car for one thing and when I drive it home, another thing is broke on it. Yes, yes, yes I know they always “recommend” little things that are wrong with your car that you should keep on eye on in the near future like brake fluid getting dark and oil changes, etc, but when major stuff is broke on my car when I drive it home, yes that bothers me.I gave them a try, twice. Both times something was wrong with the car. It’s like they do one job, and break something on your car so they know you will come back and give them a couple of hundred dollars again. Yes, I have read the good reviews before I went there and “ask for Felix” but Felix was never there all six times I went there. Even asked for Felix the first time I walked in. It was always “he just stepped out”I wanted to like this place I really did. I believe in supporting local, believe me I do, but this place let me down…..twice. The salesman Damian means well, but at the end of the day he is just trying to do enough. He really doesn’t have your best interest, and Felix, well he was never there for me to judge, so there goes that.Overall, I would say it was a bad experience with Friendly Auto, next time I will go to the big dealership’s certified service to get my car fixed. I know I will pay a bit more, but I know from experience that they will upsell me “recommend” future services, but things will not be loose or engine belts split.Hope this helps the next person.

This is day 10 of my car being at Friendly Automotive and the service manager says they havent looked at the last problem yet. Usually good but this time I am wondering.

I have been receiving oil changes and other repairs here for quite some time and I have never had any issues with the guys who work here. Fair and honest. Cheapest prices in town. Reasonable hours. Works arounds your schedule and always have space to get your car in

Ive taken my vehicle to Friendly Automotive for oil changes and tire rotations. Theyre always quick and efficient. They go the extra mile and you cant beat their oil change prices. Most other oil change place try and sell you one everything under the roof before you leave. Friendly Automotive is trustworthy.

Nice to see Mr. Friendly getting good reviews but I see he he doesnt like poor reviews by his response.I tried to make Friendly Automotive my preferred automotive repair shop but its tough when the quality of work is sub par. I wont go into detail on my experience With Mr. Friendly, Im just gonna get hot under the collar. My intent in writing this review is not to harm a local business but to help others choose the correct repair shop. Not all automotive repair shops are good at everything, even though they profess to do it all. I would recommend anyone looking for major work, like clutch replacement or extensive transmission or engine work to ask a lot of questions before choosing Friendly Automotive. Mr. Friendly has been in the auto maintenance business for many years and seems to do well with GENERAL automotive maintenance and repair. Mr Friendly also knows his tires plus you can rent a U haul.Yes Mr. Friendly I was a real customer I have the invoices to prove it.JBM

Mr. Felix and I go way back long before he opened his own business (s), he has always been precise, professional and to the point. He and his fabulous crew have done good work for me and I trust them completely and they dont make women feel less than about vehicles when working with you, and I like that a lot!

Not so great to rent Uhaul anyways they will tell you a price then charge twice as much as they say after all said and done

I took my 98 jeep Cherokee in to this shop for a spark issue. I have never been more impressed with the customer service the pricing and the work they do. They got my jeep done quickly and efficiently Im very happy with the job they did. They also did a full vehicle inspection for free and in lighted me on some things that needed done an one of them could have been life threatening. They were willing fix it right then an and they did. Thank you friendly automotive I will be back with more work.

I dont know the name of the person who changed my tire but he it was really flexible to me . Last time i call for a use tires . they supposedly they will call me but they never call me back 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 but any way 5 start

They got the car running right in a few days and for a respectable price they were polite and understanding the place was clean and sanitary its a place I would recommend for the great customer service and invitiment.

The service people were trustworthy and friendly just like the name. The manager reminds me of my dad who is also a mechanic and lectured be on importance of getting oil changes in a timely manner which also made me laugh.

I brought my truck in and they could have taken advantage during these hard times of corvid-19. Instead they took a look, found no issues, took the time to evaluate, and finally called to say they didnt find any issues with the transfer case and charged me way below my estimate.

I called the shop first thing monday morning to get our delivery van in for a new o2 sensor. I brought it in and they were rite on it, considering the location of the sensor they had it done in a couple of hours. And the rate was very fair. The waiting room is very clean and the guys are very curteous.

Best price in town for an oil change and great follow up. They dont just change your oil, they give you a list of potential issues that may cause problems later. Love the fact that they send you reminders via email. They are truly Friendly Automotive.

My mom thought of this place first she was left with a $1400.00 quote and very sad hearing her ac system had to be replaced my brother thought he would look and after $30.00 on bearings and a new clutch pull ring its perfect again. 🖓i understand labor and parts but really! Tad much fellas
