Let me tell you about this Best Buy--first--just NEVER order and have something delivered and installed by this store. Just never.Heres why. We ordered a washer and dryer from Best Buy probably 6 weeks, maybe 2 months ago. It was delivered from the store in Yonkers about 10 days ago; first they brought the wrong one, then they came to install it, broke one of our pipes causing $500 in damage, and broke the dryer while installing. Since then, my husband and I have spent probably 15 hours on the phone with Best Buy trying to get them to pick up the machine that they broke and send a new one. No luck yet. Best Buy puts it all down to the store and the delivery person, who has not updated the delivery status from in transit, which apparently no one can override (sounds oddly suspicious in the year 2021, no?).So, if youre hoping to get high-quality electronics installed by folks who know what they are doing with reliable customer service, well, Im going to tell you--this isnt that!If, on the other hand, youre looking for gross incompetence and a labyrinthian and bloated bureaucracy whose only purpose is to protect its own interest, well, youve reached your destination. Im a big fan of Best Buy but this specific best buy I am not a big fan of. I dont know Representatives are having bad days or whatever but the ones who deal with me are mostly rude and not helpful even the manager. I dont even come here anymore Id rather travel and go to any other best buy than come here.
I was at a lost at this best buy. I needed a unlock phone. The wait for customers asst. Is too long. I left that day with a Fujifilm mini 11 camera . I will address the phone issue elsewhere and hopefully get my concerns addressed.
Totally different experience than the Hartsdale store. Devante in cell phones was awesome. All of the staff was attentive, the transaction quick, and we left having accomplished what we came in to do, even with waiting a few minutes.

HOLY COW. This place is horrible. Staff is horrendous. TV we were purchasing would not scan correctly instead of trying to troubleshoot the cashier paged for a manager and then proceeded to joke to coworkers about how waiting for a manager would take 30 minutes this time of night. God bless my significant other who is patient

We placed an order for curbside pickup. Ive had bad experiences in other stores. This was the first time trying it out on Best Buy. I have to say it was the quickest, easiest transaction ever. They brought the order out put it in our trunk and we were done. Great job.

The young so-called expert in their computer department tried to sell me a P.C. to save money when my mac died. He had no concept of what it means to be on a particular platform, with files that require proprietary software. I walked out disgusted. Though they probably had all i needed for sale, they did the worst thing they could: they made up untrue stuff. If I had taken his advice, id have gotten hundreds of dollars into the hole with useless hardware. I walked out disgusted. Since this experience, others have told me similar stories about them. What a shameful reflection on this revenue-hungry corporation.
I love Best Buy, unfortunately this location lacks product knowledge, policy knowledge, customer service. kimmy the front end manager is incompetent and rude. Worst experience - and I only went to add insurance on my IMac which I had to do on the phone because the store refused to assist and did not know the policy that is clearly stated online. Now they cancel all my store pick up orders. So unprofessional

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN ORDERING ONLINE TO DO STORE PICK UP! I recently bought a brand new Canon DSLR camera online and this location was one of the few who had it available. Since I am 9 months pregnant and due anytime now, I needed it right away. So my husband goes to pick it up and when he brings it home, the box has an empty space where the manual, warranty card, registration papers usually come. Im an experienced camera buyer so I immediately knew they gave me an open box product for a new one. I called the store over and over and over and no one picked up. I had to make the drive to the store and was immediately told I needed to pay a $67 restocking fee due to me opening the box. I then showed them proof of how the item came (even the lens and camera body werent in their original packaging) and I showed them an unboxing YouTube video of what a brand new camera is supposed to look like. They were nice overall and exchanged the camera for what they called a new one new one, but I feel like this shouldnt happen to people to begin with. Why was I given something that was returned when I paid full price?Also, how does that even happen? I went back to pick up my replacement camera and it was actually new. It had all the paperwork and every single item in the box came sealed and with their individual barcodes. Please be careful!

Had a small issue where I was charged multiple times for the same item, but it got resolved within a day. Had my order ready on time and no problems/wait with picking it up. Plenty of parking.

I went to the central ave location and I must say I was really disappointed. I was shopping for a lap top and no one that works there was knowledgeable enough to give me some insight on what lap top I should buy. Also there were so many ppl waiting to be helped and the staff looked inexperienced and unprofessional. Bottom line, I left unsatisfied and empty handed! These younger employees dont care much for their job and it clearly shows. Avoid at all costs!!!

So, on Saturday my husband and I were in a New Jersey and decided to stop into Best Buy and no one attended us in the Home Theater area. Dont know if they were short staffed due to Covid but that was not a good look for them. We decided to try the Yonkers store the next day. Well Kudos to them. We have always had the best luck there. Kudos to the Sales consultant Cesar C., in their Home Theater department that day. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you.

Went to return a product purchased on previous day. It did not work out of the box. Customer service was prompt and apologetic. Ordered a replacement immediately which arrived the next day. This is how a service business should operate! The true test is not when everything goes right but what people/businesses do when things go wrong. Such a horrible experience, I go inside and Im stopped, was told I could not enter without telling them where I was going and I must give my phone number in order to be assisted. They needed to know what department I was going to before hand, I said tv and then computer, then I was told that I was not able to leave the tv department to go to computers until I received a text message telling me that a sales representative was ready for me, I spent 15 minutes in TVs waiting, received the text that the sales representative was ready, I then waited another 15 minutes and no one came to me, no one approached me yet there were employees talking to one another at the register. I then received the text that the sales representative was ready to see me in computers and no one was there. I ended up leaving and going to the local best buy in CT where I bought a TV and Computer for my daughter and had an amazing experience there. Now I understand that they were being careful due to covid, but they did not execute that with great service, infact it was no service at all and the store lost on on a 3K sale for lack of customer service. Although the money still ended up going to a best buy, it didnt go to this one.
The cell phone crew is the BOMB here! I ordered an IPhone 12 pro max for some reason Sprint wouldnt give me an upgrade after having my current phone for 24 months. it took 3 days to get everything straight ! Through it all, Gene the manager of the department went above and beyond to make sure everything went through smoothly so, I didnt have to reorder my phone. Through all my frustration Gene and his crew remained cool and gave me A++ customer service . I recommend anyone who is purchasing a phone do it here . The teamwork in that department is outstanding!
They are following Covid restrictions really well in this store. I recently bought a omen laptop here. I had been researching some laptops and wanted to see them in person. They actually had some really great deals. The open box sales are super worth it, literally brand new products. The products are inspected by geek squad by the way so you know you’ll be good in the long run. Cesar in the computers section was super kind and informative. He discussed my options in terms of what I needed showed me some comparable deals and reassured me that the open box was deal was the one to go for. I appreciate his advise and I definitely am happy with my purchase. I have always been a Best Buy costumer. I’ve bought all my laptops at Best Buy’s. I’ve never been disappointed.

So when I came to the store for pick up they treated me very kindly the service man scan my receipt then called me to to talk to the cashier, she informed me that my order been cancelled I didnt come on time, I explained to her I was expecting a call or text to inform me its ready, she understood the situation and called a manager that he gave me to reorder it for the same sales price. Thank you Cashier and Manager for making Best Buy service the best and great.

Christmas eve, the place is busy! Curbside check out has the staff constantly moving, but service with a 😃! They must be tired from moving all those flat screens but they get the job done. In store pick up went smoothly. There was a line but it went very quickly. Nice work!!!

This used to be my favorite store location. But now its not.. 1 this new thing were you have to give your name and phone number to wait for someone to text you so they can help you. Its not working. Employees never know anything and theres barely associates. And now they hardly the items you want.

Went there to the Samsung Customer experience in store service desk. It was the last day. Samsung Customer Experience is no longer in the Best Buy Stores. They are opening their own sites accross the country.Afterwards, I walked around and everyone in the store seem to be happy to work there and the customers seemed content.Best Buy sells anything and everything electronic. Including household appliances.Huge store. Very clean. Well merchanndized and good prizes.

Came here to do some Christmas shopping I was greeted by Will he was very knowledgeable about products & location of products in the store. He also was very friendly & brought me to items i was looking for. Not just pointed me in the direction. He even took the time out to help me make sure that i was buying the item that best fit my needs. Shopping here with Wills assistance was a breeze also there wasnt long lines.Came back for a fridge & we were helped by Larry. He was super cool & knew what he was talking about.

Best But is usually a good shop for my family and I. But this particular store was a bit of a letdown. The customers were less than to be desired. Rude & greedy. The employees was very disheartening and lazy. They didnt know their products. I was ready to spend a few thousand dollars on an entertainment system along with a maybe an additional HD Samsung TV. But the employee was more concerned to chase a girl around for nothing and ignored other customers including me. So I was kind, respectful and patient. That did not matter. So I left and spent $2475.00 at Target. So thank you for NOTHING BEST BUT.

Their customer service is great. Recently went in to pick up my laptop that was shipped out for repair. The guy that assisted me was very helpful.The only con is they have to ship equipment out and it takes 4-6 weeks for repair. Which was unpleasant for me.
Thankfully they had everything I was shopping for, the only thing I would change is having more associates on the floor and how unsafe everyone was bunched up on the checkout line, I tried to stay 6 feet apart but most people werent and they didnt have anyone to enforce it. People were also walking around without masks despite signs to enforce it. This location is far better than other locations Ive been to, I just hope they can be more proactive to keep there customers and staff safe through covid.

Both Jennifer from the central Avenue location and the manager from the 86 street store were both exceptionally professional and stepped up when the unit I traveled from one store to the other to pick up was not available after paying for it at central ave, was not to be had.And so the Manager made concessions without hesitation in order keep me a satisfied customer. I regret not having gotten her Name but it happened on 8/20/2020 at 3:30.They should both be recognized for their assistance.GOOD JOB! Me hell Im a happy camper.

My local Best Buy is still the store to go to for stuff I need immediately - however problems exist, for example the TV section is a mess - but the staff is still helpful in locating items -

Geek squad has the worst customer service.I dropped my computer to be repaired and I was told it would take 2 weeks to be repaired. 2 weeks passed and no one contacted me, 3 weeks, 4 weeks and nothing. I went back to ask for my computer cause obviously I needed it back fixed or not cause after 5 weeks I decided to buy a new one of course NOT at best buy. Aaron the guy at the geek squad counter said I cant not cancel the service...! Excuse me, its been 5 weeks and no one phone call. Of course I could and Cristina who happened to be at the counter helped me out canceling the service. She was helpful. Aaron wasnt. He is very disrespectful with no knowledge at all.

Told us that we could not return something to the store when the web site directs one to the store (where it was picked up). Quoted two to three MONTHS wait for an item PC Richards will have on Thursday (4 DAYS) - Same item/brand. ----- TWO STARS is GENEROUS!!!

Waited until the end of the day I was supposed to pick up my product to say it was delayed without giving a new estimate, the worst part is that nobody picks up the phone when I called just left me on hold.Update: still bad that nobody answers the phone but when my item did come, curbside pickup was very quick and easy.
