Avoid this place like the plague. Not only is the welding pictured atrocious, but worst of all, the catalytic converter (circled) was installed in the WRONG PLACE! This is a huge safety issue. It needs to go underneath the heat cover. Converters get extremely hot--around 1,200-1,400F internally. That heat cover maintains a buffer of air to insulate the underside of the car.The converter--where it sits--is going to cook all the bushings within a 2ft diameter, not to mention heat up all the fluids. Car manufacturers put those heat covers there for a reason! I cannot begin to understand WHY they even went through the trouble of putting it in the wrong spot, that’s just lazy work. When I took it back they insisted it was fine and refused to fix it. I am absolutely dumbfounded. This place cannot be trusted. The only reason they would say it is fine must be to milk me for more money because the catalytic converter placement will cause other mechanical problems in short time. Again, catalytic converters get around 1,200-1,400F in normal conditions, and ALWAYS have a heat shield around them for a reason.I confirmed all of the above with several other mechanics before posting this. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
This place tries to scam you by purposely doing incorrect work and forcing you to come over and over again for the same issue. They milk you for all your worth and destroy your car in the process. Shadiest mechanics in the business. STAY AWAY!
My go-to mechanics. David is versatile, efficient and always considerate with his time and prices!
Lets just say this place lives up to old mechanic stereotype of trying to milk you for every dollar you have. Been here twice for simple procedures and have been charged different prices.
My son s car broke while traveling thru that area and was back on the road quickly by them
