Was excited to see the Grand Opening banner a few weeks back and I finally dropped in to try this place a little while ago. Its small, so there isnt much seating except two chairs by the window. Its an in and out quick kind of place.They have a nice variety of flavors, about 8 or 10 in all. The owner made a big deal that all the treats are made with agave and not sugar... even though that nectar IS sugar. You cant blame them for trying to stand out.When I dropped in they had some froyo and sorbet. I tried almost everything and it all tasted a little over sweet. Agave nectar ha a cloying taste that overwhelms when you use too much, and I think they did. The flavors werent bad, just not so balanced.This froyo is not the Pinkberry/Red Mango kind of tart yogurt, its more like TCBY in that it tastes a lot like ice cream instead of like yogurt. If youre into that, yay! If youre addicted to Pinkberry, youre not going to get your fix here.Prices are reasonable and in line with the area and the owner and staff are friendly. I might come in again if Im on this side of the nabe but I would not make a special trip here.
